Homeward from Singapore on SS Chitral 1969

A film by Robert Wilson of the family leaving Singapore in June 1969. Friends on the quayside holding paper streamers which eventually parted as the ship drew away.
The ship was SS Chitral (P&O) which sailed the 'long way round' via South Africa due to the Suez Canal being closed.
Includes footage of the "Crossing the Line" Ceremony when passing the equator.
