Hey, Kweebec Corner, recently the riot CEO left the company - could you get in touch with the hytale team and see if this will impact the game in any way?
I have as soon as they were bought by riot and right after they delayed the game talking about cross platform and stuff. Developing the game cross platform instead of focusing on the PC version as a first is a huge red flag at least for me.
That's the biggest problem. It's going to succeed, no question, but so many people like you have just checked out. I'm willing to wait 3 years if for certain the game will release with a well-thought combat system. I love Minecraft but I'm honestly excited about all the features Hytale will bring to combat, cooking, lore, building, boss varieties, etc. Minecraft Dungeons was a great game, but it lacked the freedom to build, and Minecraft had open-world freedom but no variety in weaponry and armor.
@@SebastienGendron-uk4po I'm on the completely same page! Sounds like it was an awesome interview! Way to keep up the hype Noxy lol. I am really excited to learn more about what he means by different creatives having a space in Hytale, besides animation, model making, scripting and Machinima creation.
What does a tree grow into? Some kind of Whispy Woods great tree that regained its knowledge? An undead tree that produces skeleton kweebecs? a wood golem? Wait don't tell me. . , ARE KWEEBECS BABY ENTS?!?!? A Kweebec goes from seed to child to adult kweebec to elder to tree TO TREE PERSON! Perhaps it will not be this obvious but a lil Kweebec turning into an Ent or giant tree person of some kind would be badass, like maybe the ents all travel to later game places or protect Kweebec villages? OH! Maybe that is how Kweebecs will survive and return in the late game, protected by a mighty oak Kweebec guardian! Imagine a royal Kweebec guard with a log club made of a dead sacred tree to hit enemies with!
I did notice the Riot Launcher changed the wallpaper a while back, and at first I assumed it was a new LoL character, until I stumbled onto a particular Iceberg video. Hytale isn't on the Riot Games web page and Hypixel Studios isn't mentioned for some reason. That coupled with the lack of news had me a bit worried. I get they're keeping it low and slow, yet it seems a bit odd to have no information on Riot's website about an on-going project this old... Taking a step back though, the Kweebec on the launcher is a huge heads up.
Im just grateful this game exists, as a Minecraft and Riot Games fan. I have no doubt the official trailer 2 when the team does release it will generate endless attention online
It's good to know that the game isn't and hasn't been in development hell and that they have just been adding a lot more to it and optimizing the systems they already put in place. I was getting worried that something was going wrong when they hasn't uploaded a blog post in so long, but it seems like they are very dedicated and just don't want to reveal too much just yet.
The best thing that happened to me in the last 5 years was forgetting this game is being developed. Great, now I feel this dread again. Can't wait, dang!
I’m so glad they are taking time to polish the game and not rush it like so many games today that release completely broken. Some people are upset at how long it has taken and I can understand why but I’d rather wait for a good polished game than have a rushed one that is unfinished.
I'm SO excited guys. The amount of time spent and obvious love put into the development of this game.... I just know we are going to get something really special :)
i'm glad to hear they're still working on the game every day. the wait has been long, and it'll only get longer but as long as the end result is good, i think it'll be worth it :) i've been waiting for 5 years, i can wait for another 2 if necessary lol
I'm just hoping the lighting in the game still looks as immersive as it did in the past. In some of the newer clips it seems to look a lot more jarring and overexposed, but that might just how that particular shot looked and not the game itself generally.
first of all, thanks for your ongoing content and this video :) Even if there is not much updates coming about the game, I am still super hyped about it. I can't wait to get it into my hands one day. It is nice to have some life signs from time to time, knowing, that they are still working hard on it. I will wait, as long as it takes them and I am glad, that they are not rushing it, cause I think they are creating something really special here. Keep it up and thanks again for the nice video.
It's disappointing and worrying that the more I hear about this game, the less I hear about modding. Sure there are mentions about "player customizability" and "creators". But there's not been a single mention about mods and modders beyond "Yeah we moved away from java and C# to C++, and we believe that was the right choice". That's such a PR thing to say to dodge giving a negative answer. C++ has never really been compatible with modding. It's great for when you wanna make sure your game can run on multiple platforms, consoles and mobile. But for modding? No. The closest we have gotten to that have been Minetest with it's LUA implementation, and that's fallen flat on its face because LUA is fine for small quick modifications, but not large and complicated ones like Mekanism or Quark. And Riot... Riot has never been big on the whole modding and customization of their games, beyond what they offer players as microtransaction cosmetics. And I don't think they're going to change now. Remember how poorly Bedrock was received when it was revealed that it wouldn't support mods (beyond Mojangs crappy command block scripting and resource packs) and that they were suddenly introducing a microtransaction store where the only way to enable shaders was to pay Mojang money? I worry that the same thing will happen to this game. That it will be announced and any mention about mods or modding has been sweeped under the rug in favor of "player cosmetics" and "limited customizability as long as you don't do anything to threaten our revenue".
I see your videos pop into my recommended every once in a while, and every time I watch them it sparks this incredible desire to play this game, if it is as good as I feel it is, I literally cannot contain my excitement, and then I become upset, that I can't play it, that I have to wait probably even more years, but with Riot as the foundation, I'm sure this will come sooner rather than later, this has been a journey, I just hope that the wait is about to end and for the millions of players to pile in in droves.
Hytale news have me thinking about Daryl Talks Games's recent video about new game hype-I'm allowing myself to stay excited about Hytale no matter how long it takes, because the alternatives are to sit out the anticipation altogether or be a doomer about the eventual release... neither of which is as fun as just staying hopeful and excited. Keep those news coming, Kweebec!
Can’t wait, I know games take an EXTREMELY Long amount of time buts it’s insane they have a ‘complete’ looking package already, plus the skyrim levels of lore (maybe not the 8000 pages but close give or take ~6500 pages lmao) this game will be a hit no doubt, at the very least with me.
I still forget about the development of this game every so often. Every time I remember Hytale, I get so excited for it but I have to be patient. Seeing this game gives me the same mysterious and exciting feeling of when I first played Minecraft. I’ll wait any amount of time to capture that feeling again. Even if I’m 30 years old by the time it releases
I remember a few years ago i was very frustrated by the long development time of this game. I have so much passion for the project and that can be hard when you have to wait. However as i have grown up i've had a long period now of not playing games, focusing on my own mental and physical health. I think and hope that when this game arrives it will be at the perfect time to start playing games again, for me personally this is perfect. If it's any game that's going to make me want to play again, it's this one. Cheers!
I was(and still am) worried that this could be a repeat of Yogventures but they've been at it for so long and there are so many new tools that can be used that I'm feeling optimistic.
althought ive lost the initial hype long ago, i will still be happy for any release. especially looking forward to the modding aspect of the community and adding assets for people to use.
Man this game is actually wild, and im still hype for this, i cant wait for the game, my favorite feature might just be the coding aspect (i dont know anything about code but the mods are what spikes me aswell as the biomes)
As much as im in support of being patient for the game, bro spoke to the CEO of the game and got absolutely fuck-all concerning the game, information about its progress or anything substantial. But hey! We got to find out that the tree people have another stage! So useful!
i dont even expect it for 2024 now lmao, 2025 or 2026 is my ideal timeline. But god knows that will be pushed to 2030. I've given up looking forward to this game, just find other things to get interested about in the mean time, that's what I've been doing!
seriously, why bother announcing the game 10 years early? this is cyberpunk all over again. And since riot bought them, the priority now is to sell, not a passion project.
I do have to repeat that this was a chance meeting at a gaming event. Noxy was kind enough to take some totally on-the-spot questions and had to be careful what he says. It wasn't something prepared for deeply in advance.
2:34 Ive watched this so many time now through different vids and clips showcasing Hytale but I just noticed the twintails got some parkour moves lol. Thats also one thing thats been frustrating to vanilla minecraft, not being able to traverse 2 blocks high walls
ive been waiting since this game has been announced man, i can just feel it getting closer and closer every day but i dont wanna get to excited. what if it comes out in a really long time, what if it comes out next week, i just cant express all my excitment
I watched the original trailer in college. Since then, got married, had a kid, bought a house and so much more. Still excitedly waiting for this game. I know it's gonna be crazy when it's finally here.
I gave up on this long ago. Given the money they were given they could have had this finished already. Instead they decided to switch scripts and had to do an all new re-write. People can say what they will about Star Citizen, but even in an alpha build it's playable. We just keep seeing the same videos of this trailer. Nothing new.
I've been waiting since day one, 13th of December 2018, I would be lying if I said I haven't lost some hope, but I want to believe, and this video flamed that childish spark once again. I hope we get at least a small update this July, it's the least they could do.
Nice! I can currently only imagine what its like to meet them in person. One day. It'll happen. As for the Kweebecs! oooooh that is exciting. A stage we haven't seen yet. That is neat.
Yeah, but what about server side plugins allowing server owners to mod and change game play rules, mob behavior, add custom blocks and entities, etc? That was the whole focus of Hytale in the beginning which never gets talked about anymore.
I for sure know If it comes out, it will be a big succes. Can't wait to start playing the game! Regerdless of time I need to wait cuz for me this game is like a dream game

@@jungleleaf_ Yes. And it's a bad plan sure to be a problem.
Okay i got a Kweebec theory. The final life stage of a kweebec is that it starts to root into the ground and becomes a tree.
Just when i was about to lose all hope for the game you come out with this. Major props for going out your way to do an interview.
ill see check back in in about 5 more years to see if its out
"90 pages of lore is a large amount" - laughs in war hammer
It's good to know that the game isn't and hasn't been in development hell and that they have just been adding a lot more to it and optimizing the systems they already put in place. I was getting worried that something was going wrong when they hasn't uploaded a blog post in so long, but it seems like they are very dedicated and just don't want to reveal too much just yet.
My daughter and I first saw this game when she was in middle school and were really excited to play. Now she's out of college...
Great video KC, adventure awaits !
El comentario en español que no esperabas.
I've been patiently waiting for the game. Nice Vid :D
i'm glad to hear they're still working on the game every day. the wait has been long, and it'll only get longer but as long as the end result is good, i think it'll be worth it :) i've been waiting for 5 years, i can wait for another 2 if necessary lol
Appreciate all the effort. This project is something a lot of people are waiting for. Seeing your content keeps my hopes high ❤
I'm just hoping the lighting in the game still looks as immersive as it did in the past. In some of the newer clips it seems to look a lot more jarring and overexposed, but that might just how that particular shot looked and not the game itself generally.
hytale will eventually become bigger then mc because its not limited by 16x16 pixel grids
The game hasn't been cancelled, there is an obvious amount of love and passion for this game.
I have not lost any HYPE.
I can't wait for this game to be released on mobile in Ten Thousand Years!
This game has taught me th art of patience
first of all, thanks for your ongoing content and this video :) Even if there is not much updates coming about the game, I am still super hyped about it.
Bedrock has good mods tho but not as good as Java but you have to pay for it and that sucks. The free mods are buggy.
@@bulaloitech Are you talking about those weird movie tie-in DLC packs that Mojang sometimes release?
Hytale to me is starting to feel like one of those Skyrim or Fallout modding projects, continuously worked on, no end ever in sight
I'm glad it's still being worked on, I started to expect it to be getting the CubeWorld treatment.
I´m even more hyped now. I can´t wait for the release
I can’t wait for this game but I’m willing to wait for it until the end of time
I still forget about the development of this game every so often. Every time I remember Hytale, I get so excited for it but I have to be patient. Seeing this game gives me the same mysterious and exciting feeling of when I first played Minecraft. I’ll wait any amount of time to capture that feeling again. Even if I’m 30 years old by the time it releases
I was 9 when Hytale was announced. I'm almost done with ninth grade, but over the five years I have been aware of Hytale, I have never lost hope.
I guess you could say he speaks for the trees
I remember a few years ago i was very frustrated by the long development time of this game. I have so much passion for the project and that can be hard when you have to wait. However as i have grown up i've had a long period now of not playing games, focusing on my own mental and physical health. I think and hope that when this game arrives it will be at the perfect time to start playing games again, for me personally this is perfect. If it's any game that's going to make me want to play again, it's this one. Cheers!
Wow congrats on being able to interview him
I just hope all the hype can come back to the game around release so we can have a big community
Meu hype só vai volta quando o jogo for anunciado.
I was(and still am) worried that this could be a repeat of Yogventures but they've been at it for so long and there are so many new tools that can be used that I'm feeling optimistic.
1:39 Still waiting for Hytale to have an Open Beta
so people can try out the modding tools/particle editor
althought ive lost the initial hype long ago, i will still be happy for any release.
especially looking forward to the modding aspect of the community and adding assets for people to use.
I am so happy I want this game to be as good as it can be. I can wait five more years for it
*Hmm...*
A new form of adventure
@@pecoliky8793 Blaim the popularity of the trailer for the delay. That forced them to reevaluate the development
@@kweebec no, he didn't say much because there's no news regarding the game.
Hytale scares me like no other game has before.
Can’t wait for the release ❤❤❤❤
I watched the original trailer in college. Since then, got married, had a kid, bought a house and so much more. Still excitedly waiting for this game. I know it's gonna be crazy when it's finally here.
Still hyped for it
What really caught my attention after the 3rd or 4th time watching was that creators could EARN from their creations! That excites me so much!
I gave up on this long ago. Given the money they were given they could have had this finished already. Instead they decided to switch scripts and had to do an all new re-write. People can say what they will about Star Citizen, but even in an alpha build it's playable. We just keep seeing the same videos of this trailer. Nothing new.
i remeber when i was 8 when the trailer droped i was so hyped im 14 now still waiting
i got hyped about hytale when it first got a trailer then i gave up on it and now im re-entering the hype
Im proud that i still have kept my hype and love for the game
I've been waiting since day one, 13th of December 2018, I would be lying if I said I haven't lost some hope, but I want to believe, and this video flamed that childish spark once again. I hope we get at least a small update this July, it's the least they could do.
Ughhhh i can't wait for this gameee!
I hope this game gets made, looks fun.
I think well know damn well when it comes out, the game is owned by riot, so we can expect a ton of advertising beforehand
I'm just glad the game isn't dead. I know they're re-writing the engine and everything but 5 years is a long time.
Ive been stoked for this game for so long. I dont mind the wait. I remember the old blizzard taking forever to get things right. Ive been trained lol
Here we go again!
I think the biggest challenge with Hytale is not let it get too heavy, there are so many things in the game (and this is great!)
I just really hope we get to see the game this year or next year...
Yo, I'm so hyped that they're focusing on lore, I hope they'll have world bosses
They actually do. If you recall the trailer before they showed a huge snow monster and also they said they're adding kraken in the ocean.
WAHHH I'M SO EXCITED!!!
I for sure know If it comes out, it will be a big succes. Can't wait to start playing the game! Regerdless of time I need to wait cuz for me this game is like a dream game
