I wonder what the games modes are going to be like easy hard difficult and maybe even a mode called super difficult or difficulty depending on how you wanna look at it. I’m excited to hear about the game modes, and the game will offer when it comes out, especially for mobile devices PC and consul I’m so excited for the game. I cannot wait to play hightail on my mobile phone.
For this guys sake I really hope Hytale lives up to the hype. I'll be very angry if they squander this mans dedication.

With Mojang’s underwhelming delivery of Minecraft updates as of late, Hytale is really a breath of fresh air all of the MC fans need. From everything shown it looks very promising, and gameplay framework can take a long time based on how ambitious it is! I only hope that we receive more transparency in the future. I don’t keep up with the video game release sphere anymore, but Hytale has been the only one to continually pique my interest. It’s amazing seeing how the Hypixel team- renown for many childhoods is able to come together to make something that exceeds all expectations, and for that this is a game I feel is truly worth waiting for. I hope everyone on the team is doing well, and thanks for providing a nice update video.

The thing that scares me in hytale is its development time. Not cause we are waiting for so long, but because after the release Riot will ask to make game more profitable in order to get the money they invested in the game back
I would love to see the new game images using the new engine in game, something that we dont see for a long period
the "engine" is just C++ instead of Java. It would be no different than playing Minecraft Java Edition and going to Bedrock.

I’m hoping as 2024 stars we start getting more and more images and maybe videos of gameplay and all sorts of stuff to rebuild hype again.
I'm still afraid of this game. As much as I want to be happy with this game, I'm afraid of them taking too much out of me for all of this. If they somehow make a crap cosmetic monetization system or push out DLCs enough to make this the one game I play, then I might not be able to be comfortable on board like a lot of people are gonna be. This game should go wide with it's player base, not high like mobile games and NFT players. I want to be able to support this game along with my friend circle instead of being an outsider or even caving into harmful business.
They will obviously need to make money. But:
The game is clearly not made to generate wealth, or they would have just pushed out some half assed game 5 Years ago like most other "games" that release nowadays.
Higher ups in the Team seem to have experience in making and playing games and are not some money hungry skinsuits like the ones at EA.
The Hypixel Teams knows theyre way around monetization, they did a very good job on the Hypixel Network, even in Skyblock, without introducing major p2w.
Honestly I’m happy that it was in a good state at the time but I still want a beta some time sooner or later.
Mainly I’m just looking forward to all the possibilities that minecraft doesn’t have, sure I could play something else but none of them have the sandbox and modes like MC but maybe Hytale could hit this nail in the head for me with the adventure factor and the sandbox factor being on a sort of equal playing field same for the combat too.

I think another thing is that when Riot bought Hytale, it became more of a situation where they needed to deliver something that is in the absolute best shape because of Riot's reputation for making great, mostly balanced games. If we look back on Valorant, a time when Riot innovated a style of FPS game popularized by CS:GO, we can see that when that game released for beta and it's full release, it was in a VERY good shape off the bat and was a nice twist to an already wildly popular genre. Riot doesn't just want to make a clone game of another game, they want to innovate on a genre and bring something new and fresh to the table with their games. I'm not saying Hytale would have been a "clone" of Minecraft because it certainly wouldn't have been back in 2018, I'm just saying that knowing Riot, they won't want anyone to see it as a "clone" of another game and will REALLY want to make sure it will be recognized for its own advancements within the genre.
This is a pretty big investment for Riot. This is lowkey the same level of opportunity to get big in another genre. Aside from the MMO, Hytale is their wildcard. Just because of how eternal Minecraft seemingly is.
Speaking of Valorant, if Hytale comes with a rootkit and no Wine/Proton compatibility because of it, I will, well, riot.
Valorant didnt innovate anything. Its just a hero shooter like overwatch or paladins with csgo shooting mechanics

There is enough community dissatisfaction, and hytale has enough hype that theres a chance that it could snowball into something incredible.
@@huntedexp8142 minecraft is taking ages to update the end/stronghold and are just content with adding more mobs/blocks to biomes that really could get some QOL. hell Upgrade the villagers ai so we don't necessarily need to "trading hall" them. encourage player interaction with villag- Mojang: what's that you wanted more wood types of certain blocks here ya go! world building my Ass!

man your voice is so synonymous with hytale for me; i learnt about it back when they started advertising it on hypixel and i've followed, from what i know, the big pieces of news but never been in the community much (just because i don't tend to have the commitment to be able to be active in an online community with adhd and stuff), but even months after watching any of your videos i can click back onto one and feel completely familiar with your voice and it's so comforting- i wouldn't be shocked if i was playing hytale and suddenly your voice was narrating what was happening, you just feel like a very comfortable part of hytale at this point
i worded that terribly but anyway
many games recently have suffered from crunched releases. one I was looking forward to, Cities Skylines II came out in a state where it's an amazing cake but really should have been baked longer. Hytale is the complete opposite, Hypixel is maximizing time in the oven which is both respectable but also agonizing.
The con with long development is the potential of the product never finishing especially with a small studio. I'm happy with the Riot purchase injecting funds but-- I wish the devs would commit to releasing the game before they risk going under.(not that they're at risk now, moreso make a pledge to if in the future they are at risk) For that is my only true anxiety, make it perfect but don't let perfect be the enemy of players actually enjoying it.
After all the disappointments of the last years, I really don't care how long a game takes to release. If they have enough money to continue development and they think it makes sense to release it later, I can totally understand their decision and appreciate their commitment.

I've been waiting since the original trailer I can't get enough content. Even of I take an 8 month break whenever I see new stuff comming out I can't help but watch. I'm happy to wait another year or so but it has been what 5 years now.
I'm very curious how the server part is going to work and therefore the custom things like Resource Packs in Minecraft. I'd gladly offer myself and my art for servers on Hytale because it looks like you can have actual FBX/OBJ models, which is fantastic!
I wanna know what the optimal system requirements will be to be able to play the game in its most immersive state.
I've heard that they're optimizing hytale so it could even run on potato pcs but I want to know what the recommended system specs will be to play the game without having to dial down some important texture or graphical setting

For tech-oriented games its never possible to tell before actual release. The only good thing to know beforehand - its not Unreal Engine 5 :)

Amazing, can't wait to explore the world of Hytale. If done well, Hytale will be worth the wait.
I can honestly see this game's multiplayer (if it delivers on the creativity aspect of it) being a spiritual successor to Halo 3/Reach custom Forge maps. Kind of a wild comparison but the things people could do with the amount of things being advertised could be absolutely insane and as someone who spent their childhood playing those custom Forge maps, I'm all for it.
When hytale finally launch, I want to be an adventurer, make some friends, form a party, go on adventure together, fight some monters, find treasures, travel the lands, slay some dragons, make a name of ourselves, and have fun building things with them.
The teasers of this game plus the agonizing wait is equivalent to having blue balls.

@@Ttegegg It would be too early for that, relative to when it will release (which we don't even know yet). Also, there isn't much reason to build up hype, unless they're planning to release the game soon (otherwise the hype will slowly fade again).

you guys have been waiting since the trailer but i have been waiting since 2013 for this, 10 years. Buying MVP+ back in 2013-2014 said it would give you beta access to a "secret project," that being hytale. I asked hypixel himself on the hypixel forums back on the hytale trailer post and he confirmed it and said they're still going to keep their promise. I cannot wait for this game, i have been waiting almost half my life for it

So it was their project before Hytale, which still has smth to do with the Origin of Hytale lol

the absolute single most desired thing i want is a progress bar, something that shows what is being worked on and the estimated percentage of completion, a list of things - i think starcitizen had that and not to compare hytale to the game that took a billion years to come out but i think that sorta progress thing would be beloved by all
When Hytale is going for a never releasing our game challenge and its opponent is Star Citizen.
But thats basically like a deadline… what if they wanted to add more things and suddenly the progress bar is lowered and people would be complaining about it etc

Maybe I’m expecting to much, but I think that with such a talented team, and with the current landscape of low quality triple a games that are just spat out if this could become a masterpiece only on a slightly lower level than something like Skyrim.

NGL, I was sure that Hytale would be out by 2021 or so. Still being waiting without any idea of when/how a beta will happen as the year 2023 comes to an end is pretty shocking to me.

Hytale really needs to give us more information at this point, the teasing and not much info over the years is kinda exhausting. Since minecraft has gone completely stale for me, and microsoft's questionable decisions I haven't played minecraft in years. I really need a replacement game and hytale is honestly the only one that looks feasible for me.

I very much believe that both of these games will coexist fine for quite awhile, but I strongly believe that the adventure sandbox community that currently plays Minecraft will be divided slowly, with one of these games eventually winning. The pressure of going into direct competition with the most popular video game of all time demands that their release has to be amazing. I really really hope that this game lives up to the hype, and I’d be perfectly fine if it ends up becoming the new king

I really hope that this game ends up as good as you think it is. Not for me because my expectations are not nearly as high as yours. I’m more worried about you. You put so much time and effort into a game that hasn’t even come out yet. And no matter how many delays or problems at the game has you defend them to the end. I’m not saying the game is going to be bad but the fact that you’ve gone all in on a game that hasn’t been released yet is a little crazy. For your sake, I really hope that this game does well because when I first started watching stuff about the game, it was during Covid and I was super excited then. I only really watch videos about the game a couple times a year just to see what’s going on with it. But my expectations are basically rock bottom right now. All of the things that channels like you and others said got me excited but ended up being things that honestly might not even be in the game. I let you and others hype me up so much that I was excited for something that I didn’t even know what it actually was. I hope this game does well but my expectations are that it’s either going to be just another building survival game or it’s not gonna live up to the hype at all. Hype like this honestly could ruin the game. People like you have gotten people’s expectations so high that I don’t think they could ever be met. I know you love the game, but honestly, I feel like you’re doing a disservice by hyping it up as much as you have over the years. I rememeber when hytale was first announced on hypixel server. I wanted to play it as a kid. Been a long time now and I still would buy this
So basically this going to be that RLCRAFT mod that people were clamoring over on, or if it has a difficulty mode that would be cool.
Hytale's art and design is so perfect, it's the exact fidelity I want out of a minecraft-like. I sure do hope it comes out eventually cause it's basically MC2.
I think that once they are ready to release the game they should do a big ad campaign, tbh I had completely forgotten about this game but once I saw a video pop up about it on my feed it I immediately recognized it and signed up for the beta with my new email. I think theres a lot of hype from years ago that can easily be revived
One thing people should've learned by now is, that's almost always a good idea to just wait. If a studio decides to keep workin on a project, they do so for a good reason.
Of course, If the game you want to release takes about 10 years to be done the disappointment in the community can be devastating *cough* Starfield *cough* but most of the time it's a blessing for al players. They should take as much time as they need to polish this game and expand upon already existing features and possibilities

Starfield sold alot of times, but from what I've heard, pretty soon after the launch it started to become unplayable for some people. I didn't play much cause I'm not a space-sci-fi guy at all but it seems to be a fine game. As I already said, I was more focusing on the performance issues and the time it took in development ^^

Id say the game was a success for both gamers and the developers. It was far from perfect but it definetly didnt ruin a whole reputation like cyberpunk did. Performance wise i have to agree the whole "get a better pc" by todd was a massive L for them. Personally i had no issues on my pc or xbox. I also enjoyed cyberpunk despite it being a glitchy mess so you probably shouldnt take my words seriously. Anyway i just thought that starfield was a bad example since i thought the game was good. Bro, in the timespan since the trailer released, the covid era has started and ended. People who started a college degree when the trailer came out have now graduated... And the game still isn't even out in at least an alpha/beta form...

I really hope they do justice by their fans. It feels like we've been waiting a decade for this game already.
I mean it stands to reason that once you get acquired by RIOT and have Tencent's wallet behind a project, "pretty cool for an Indie studio" is no longer going to cut it. RIOT doesn't like to release things anything less than Triple A quality and they have the money and experience to back that standard. So once that acquisition happened it was kinda clear to me this project would increase in size by like 3 to 5 times and get polished way more than was ever planned. Because a fail for Hytale at this point isn't just a fail for the modding community of minecraft. It'd be a fail for RIOT and they're not about to take an L in their journey to put shame to every Blizzard IP known to man by doing it better.
I think the biggest problem their gonna run into/continue to run into will be/is riot's perfectionism and drive to innovate

also, side note: they probably aren't sharing stuff about the game because microsoft has already copied some stuff off their blog posts and they wouldn't want minecraft to try to steal too much of their creations/styles

I still think that they waited WAY too long and made not even nearly enough updates for the game so the hype is more or less dead. A couple of thousands of people are obviously still waiting patiently for the game but many others just gave up and probably forgot about the game. 🤷♂️
A new trailer will easily get the hype back up, and they’ve done a lot to the game since the last one. Furthermore, no game in the genre has yet met the expectations people had for Hytale.
Minecraft has some real simple controls. Which is why kids and many creator enjoy making videos on it sense it’s not complex. Just clock of a button and 1-9 hot bar that’s controlled with the scroll wheel. That’s all you need to play 90% of the game.
since hytale was bought by rito gomes, it would be fun to have a mod/minigame where you play 5v5 pvp on summoners rift with champion skills and weapons you can unlock. that and some valorant maps and guns.
I’m really hoping they’ve been quiet because they’re taking they’re time with the game. I’d rather a super polished game that takes years to make than a rushed out buggy mess.

When Hytale started development people used to say that Hytale was going to be everything Minecraft failed to do, then they released 1.16 and people was like, okay Minecraft it's actually releasing good content so Hytale needs to be pretty good now. Years later Minecraft it's again on a pretty bad streak, releasing bad-mid updates and people it's saying again Hytale it's going to be everything Minecraft failed to do lol.
I really hope the development state of this game it's good, the only problem with this it's that they released a trailer too soon (and to be fair, they didn't know they were going to start development from scratch because Riot bought the studio and their plans totally changed). If they were working on this game without a trailer out there, there wouldn't be people saying the game hype died and the game it's going to be dead at launch. I really want this game to be something good, after all this time, so many years in development.
I had completely forgotten about this game. I hope it lives up to at least half the hype. I should add that I don't mean this in a bad or dismissive way. Just that the minds of us consumers can fill in blanks that might not be realistically achievable. I think it will be a solid game non the less.

Roblox in the way that you can easily make basically anything you want, such as games, movies, creations for everyone to use within their own creations, and a default physics system that can be modified to your liking, or completely overhauled. Minecraft in the way that it was originally based on minecraft, made by the some of the same people that made the most played minecraft server lf all time, it is a 3D game with pixel graphics and blocky terrain.
The only thing that bothers me is Riot. If this game comes out with ridiculous tracking or worse: Riot Vanguard, I will have to give up on playing this. Privacy and security is more important than playing a game.

Honestly Hytale's biggest mistake was going silent for so long. On one hand it's good to focus on the game and getting it running, but on the other no PR tends to kill a game before it even launches.

I want the game now! ... bit then I remember playing Game Mode 4 back in season 1 and how Laggy that sever could be at time when a new Module was added ... no matter what i can't wait!
2.5k wasn't trending, that only appears on high velocity...which is why that number never went much higher.
Problem is its been 3-4 years since its trailer and hype. Then they went quite while being acquired by another company. In all that time the only they have show is that they increased their staff size from 30 to 100. It would b sad if they did all that and they missed their hype market and when they release the game people are just like "Meh, oh i remember that game".

Don’t let the silence fool you into thinking Hytale’s a ‘forgettable’ game. Why Hytale was hyped and what players wanted from it ever since the trailer hasn’t been accomplished yet by Minecraft or any other game in the genre.
Would be a great time to make an update about the game since the engine has changed a lot and we got almost no news from the game.
The game will probably be epic, but no giving pieces to the community... To me it's risky

I still don't think Riot buying Hytale is a good thing. I think it means less creativity, less earnables and more microtransactions :I There's no way the game's gonna be fair.
