I talk to Hytale team members to get some insights into the company and find out what their plans are for the future.
I wanted to share this because I think it's important for you to hear from the people who actually create the game!

people on youtube try to make them believe its dead. it is all False, they will release it this year, and we have to be patient not everything goes fast, and thats why they did that. the correct move unlike Cyberpunk 2077 how it got rushed. Hytale took its time to build and boom they had taken there time and everything. and thats why they love the game they have made and do not want to make it look rush

it's much better for your hype to die out so waiting is less painful and if the game isn't as good as you expect it won't be that much of a disappointment

Seriously though, great to see you and Hytale content again.
Been waiting for this game since freshman highschool to adulthood. Crazy how much time passes so quickly. Hype is definitely gone, but I'm subconsciously waiting.
Somehow the music in this game is already Nostalgic and it isn't even out yet.
When I first saw the trailer, I had a lot of time to play video games or really just do whatever I wanted besides school.
Now I work for a minimum of 9 hours a day. I still manage to take time out to work on hobby projects, like building a Minecraft world based on my own universe with lore. Eventually I want it to be a fully fledged high quality video game, but that dream is still just a dream. At least I can create the environments in Minecraft, and hopefully Hytale in the foreseeable future.

Thank goodness, I was legit getting bummed about all these great things that have been promised and canceled over the years. Glad Hytale isn't one of them. Though they could send a letter once in awhile to make sure you guys aren't dead.
I hope they add an in game easter egg with a dagger pigeon, like if you name a pigeon Chris it'll get a dagger or something, sort of like with Minecraft and Dinnerbone

That was so fantastic to listen to! While i'm sad we have to wait longer for Hytale, I'm glad the team is making sure the game will be polished and high quality. It's lovely to hear how things are going behind the scenes and how much the team cares. I cannot wait for Hytale to come out, whenever that may be. I think it's going to be something truly out of this world.
As someone who grew up with Cubeworld and continued/continues to wait for it, waiting for Hytale is nothing. I'm more than happy to see the team taking as much time as necessary to make sure this game comes out exactly as they envision! Much love to the team

Yes I'm a "fan" of Cube World too. Although my hype has long passed, I am excited for when Hytale eventually comes. I hope both games find their way to becoming what we all envisioned them as.

Connor, long time no see! Was so happy to see a new upload from you. I saw a portion of this during Thankmas, but was definitely a good rewatch.
Right after the 2022 thankmas, i recieved my 2021 thankmas coin and trork figure in the mail with the lovely handwritten note inside. I wished i could have contributed with more than just watch time in 2022, as the last year has been hard on me, but recieving the coin in the mail afterwords lifted my spirits and reminded of the times when i was doing better. Like a reminder of where i should be aiming to go, and that success is possible. You guys are amazing and I will always love this community for that

I'm just glad this game is still in development. I know it will be one of the best games I've played in years, so I'm hyped! :)
Personally, I lost all hype when they announced the delay of the game a few years ago. They announced the game in 2018, it is now 2023, the year they said we could see the game come out at the earliest, but I honestly don't expect to see it till 2025. My hype was killed off entirely with that announcement, and I have felt there is no point being hyped for something that was delayed so many years, and I can just forget this game even exists till it is actually coming out. I just happened to stumble upon this video. The game is surely going to be amazing, but for now I am just gonna forget about till it comes out.
The first delay my hype was still fine, but then they kept delaying the game and I wasn't fine anymore lol

First thing I'm noticing. These Trorks have blue eyes, they are usually yellow? Eye colour for some creatures has been used to show if they are corrupted, is it not? are blue eyed
Trorks a different faction? different behaviours?
Ok the only depiction of a blue eyed Trork I can find depicted previously was the axe wielding Trork. The same one that was getting rained on and sought shelter.
Other then checking the Hytale Blog time to time (because you may never know if they posted a progress update) You are one of the few content creators that I go for Hytale-type content. Also thought I'd share a prediction. I think Hytale will come out in 2024 or 2025. ...If I'm wrong that's fine.

Ok here me out
What if on release day they had a server with as many players as they can. It would be the best way to explore Hytale because everyone would be new to it and everything would be a surprise. It would be like some of those cringy 100 players in Minecraft videos but stuff would feel new again. It would be more fun to compete against other people knowing that you know what they don’t or vice versa. It’s a one time opportunity ideally someone without a yt channel like me could play but it would still be cool if I could watch people discover the world. You would need to make the only available game mode that server so it could be cool or lame🤷♂️
a server for like even just 200 people would be great

Honestly, for a game that is in the making for years, they shouldn't be so secretive, they should show us the entire process to keep up the hype.
this is a problem, that's why they are silent, the hype itself generates an expectation that can be bad and besides, if they show everything about the game, we'll already know what it is without even having played it, that's kind of boring.

it's a riot game, it's going to be a live service game that is filled with skins and changes every month, whether you like it or not and it will be bloated.

Wasnt Hypixel integrated into League? I can remember that Riot had something in the 10th anniversary announcment about Hipixel :/
Hypixel Studios is under the Riot umbrella now but not related to League at all - Hytale is still in development.

This has definitely, lowered some of my anger and disillusionment with Hytale. I'm still not satisfied at all as my biggest question is still up in the air: What's the deal with the radio silence? But it is nice to hear from people working around the game say they are still excited with the product they are making. I hope it isn't lies and they are actually proud of what they are making, but I've been burned before. Either way, I have no choice but to keep waiting, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't still super excited for this game.
I understand where youre coming from, however they mentioned they were gonna focus on the game instead of bringing up about updates etc which is a little sad but I know that they're doing it for a reason.
@@dawn4764 I mean they said that 2 years ago didn't they? And it's not asking for much, it's just asking for them to not be silent on the game. It's almost been 7 months since the last blogpost and we don't really know anything "new" about the game, and we've barely seen anything of what's been shown since.

We can’t answer detailed questions right now as the redevelopment of the engine is still underway, but we will be providing much more information in the future." trust the process, my dear friend! There isn't much to tell if they're just building from the ground up again to create a new engine for the game.
@@dawn4764 I have no trust in the process. They literally haven't built up any trust, and seeing who they are connected to doesn't give me much hope. But alas, it doesn't matter anyways, it's not like I get a choice in waiting or not.

Problem with Hytale is: it's a huge game that has to evolve, like they said, everytime. And minecraft had the chance to do it, from 2009 to now and who knows till when. They can't possibly publish a game as rough as Mojang did cause of the standard of now, and that's what requires a lot. Probably fanbase-wise, they could publish a prealpha, but economically speaking, that would ruin the image of the game 100%
