The fact is, that the average dog owner generally only brings love to the relationship. Love is not enough. All one has to do is go out for a walk to see dog owners who are in need of Cesar's assistance. Most misbehaving dogs aren't a threat. I mean how much damage can a 9 lb poodle do. Every pitbull owner believes their dog to be the greatest dog on earth until something bad happens. And it happens way too often. Over 60% of deaths by a dog are Pitbulls and pitbull cross related. If you don't believe me simply Google dog attacks. Don't if you have a week stomach.
@@jimbob7559 I completely agree with you. Personally I think powerful breeds should only be taken on by experienced owners who know the breed and how to train them properly. Powerful breeds need proper training. I had a Staffordshire Bull terrior growing up and she had the best temperament but that was because my mum trained her well from the start when she was a puppy and put down boundaries and stuck to them plus she also put boundaries down with me and my siblings on how to treat a dog. We were never allowed to jump all over her or pull her about and torment her and as a result we had a loving, playful and gentle dog. It's because of her I have such a soft spot for Staffie's. It's chihuahua's I'm not a fan of every time I come across one it's been a vicious little ankle biter and I've never met a nice one. Pomeranian's are ok I've met some lovely ones but chihuahua's and especially poodles I can't stand got bit by a poodle as a kid and the owner laughed like it was cute and it put me off the breed after that

( Just Past Away was Very Old) ,they got it from the Shleter it was Abused by the Owners .When my Family had this Dog He was Realy Incredible CUte Nice . Very Very Soft and So Kind for All People. I Still Don't Understand whay the First Owners saisd that He was False ( english is not my language maybe some mistakes in writing) No Way It was One of the Nicests and Cutest Dogs theyre Could Be .You could do Everything with Hom. Only One Thing , He was Too Much a Little Bear and wantend too Much Cuddle and Cuddling with You if you haven't got tjhe time at the monent. Such a Soft Little Teddybear. I Also Still Miss Him ( Tears Now.)

Kristin Lett What impressed me the most, Daddy seemed to know what his role and purpose was in helping Cesar help other dogs. He'd come across nasty crazy dogs and he'd just stand his ground and keep his cool. His attitude I try to copy in my human to human relations and it works well; lol!
i was very sad to hear that Daddy had suffered, i think, 6 years with cancer. All who have become aquainted with Ceasar,through his brilliant programmes, are surely touched by this marvellous dog. I, for one, will always remember him. And welcome to young Junior!

The fact that Daddy was 'seen' fully for the soul he was by the one guy in the world who could give him his best life is a miracle. Animals and humans are usually mismatched and we generally misunderstand them.
Absolutely PRECIOUS!!!! I cried through the whole thing, because my Boston Terrier of 14 years, died last August, and now I have another Boston Terrier that is SO MUCH like him. I feel blessed to do it all over again. May Daddy and Junior rest in peace.
It's not the breed of dog but the human behind it.. this determines the behavior.. pits were originally considered the "Nanny Breed" for their good behavior around kids and infants. Bad dog? Bad human!! Thank you, Cesar, for showing us this truth and demonstrating that a solution is possible.

Beautiful photos, videos, and I remember Caesar saying, "I brought Daddy to see the puppies. The first puppy walked up, and Daddy growled at him, so I said, "That's not the one!" Then Junior walked up, Daddy snuggled with him, and when we walked back to the car, Junior walked right behind Daddy, so I said, "I guess he's coming home with us!" (Not exact - from memory.) Perfect song. We take our animals into our hearts, knowing one day we will lose them, and our hearts will break; but we do it again, and again, and again, because our lives are better with them; and because the love, the comfort, the joy, and the laughter they give us and we give them, is worth the pain. Thanks to Spike, the smartest dog; Regis, the craziest dog; Candy, the sweetest dog; and Nigel, the cutest dog, who I hope will live forever ;-).

i really miss seeing the dog whisperer show. i used to enjoy watching it. this vid made me cry. loved seeing daddy in the show. it's always hard to lose a part of the family. for those of us that love our dogs, they are family! Absolutely PRECIOUS!!!! I cried through the whole thing, because my Boston Terrier of 14 years, died last August, and now I have another Boston Terrier that is SO MUCH like him. I feel blessed to do it all over again. May Daddy and Junior rest in peace.

It's not the breed of dog but the human behind it.. this determines the behavior.. pits were originally considered the "Nanny Breed" for their good behavior around kids and infants. Bad dog? Bad human!! Thank you, Cesar, for showing us this truth and demonstrating that a solution is possible.
People are being urged not to use the term 'Nanny Dog' anymore for ANY breed as it could be dangerous for children (look it up)
It's the human behind the animal that determines the behavior.. this is my point..I realize this is outdated terminology, however, proper discipline of you animal is the concern.. not trashing a particular breed because of irresponsible humans.

Then Junior walked up, Daddy snuggled with him, and when we walked back to the car, Junior walked right behind Daddy, so I said, "I guess he's coming home with us!" (Not exact - from memory.)
