I couldn't agree more. It's a love story for sure of pure love...unconditional love from them to us. They are so innocent and pure. Dog is God spelled backwards, just think about that for a sec. I have 2 dogs that I don't know how I'll live without...just kills me inside. I just love them so much!

Experience has also taught me that this is often the case. My 'problem' dogs have taught me (along with Cesar's videos as to how to become a more calm, assertive 'owner') how to be a far better 'owner' for my dogs.

@@liisaks1 i too have been taught by not my own dog, but a dog i often take care of. She used to be such a mess, neurotic, lunging at every thing and every dog UNTIL i learned how important my own energy really is. I thought you can "cheat" a dog by acting calm but they just know. She's now 10 years and she's been coming to me since she was 4. I kind of trained her, the owner said she's really like a different dog and the owner wants me to take the dog often because she knows the dog really enjoys her time with me. ❤️ I never knew you can get so attached to a dog that isn't yours or you haven't raised, but here we are. She's taught me so much! ❤️

I now realize how long I am watching and listening to Cesar. I also knew Buddy and I remember the first videos with Junior like it was yesterday. They all will wait for us until our time has come. Untill then they are running and playing and having a lot of fun! My Lilly and Emil are there, too

I lost my Sweetpea. One week ago today. I’m still devastated. She was my pick of the litter. She was with me her entire 16 years of life. I’m so broken 😢. I will miss her every single day of my life. Thank you for this video, I needed to see it today. She was an Angel. Not a “typical “ chihuahua. She was loving and good and friendly. She knew she was my child

Try to remember that not all dogs are loved or treated well. For them, a short life is a blessing. It is a shame that they don't live according to how much love they get.

Agreed - we all have an idea of how we hope a dog will be…and they usually kick those expectations out the door by day three 😂🥴 but we are always better for the journey. ❤️

I lost my cat, Vincent, two years ago. He jumped up next to my kitchen sink and kissed me every morning. He had blue eyes too. Heart still aches. There is no heaven if I don't see Vincent there.....😢. God bless you Caesar.
Our Pit Bull passed 15 years ago. He was a guardian angel, I can express him in no other terms. He grew up my two kids and was my best friend. Some of my most treasured memories were walking along the beach with him on Friday nights and just sitting in the sand with my arm around him before we would head home for dinner. A few years ago I nearly died, I was about as close as you could get but I was never really worried because I know he'll come for me when it's my time.
He most likely will. In the meantime, he is in good hands.

I still have dreams of my two favourite dogs from when I was a kid. And that was many years ago.

I still see Junior tagging along on jobs as a little puppy. I can’t believe he was already 15! Time goes by so fast… He and Daddy were such great dogs, they helped so many others with their confidence.

It’s because of Caesar , daddy and junior that I decided to rescue pitbuls. I had my first for 9 amazing years and after taking time to grieve such a huge loss, we have rescued another ❤. I wo t stop! Loving beautiful dogs!

I just lost my cat mark on February, really heartbroken. He was 11 years old. He died too soon. I thought he would live until 20 at least!

Finding this video so shortly after my lab/shepherd mix died at the age of almost 13 it made me cry again. Not just for Knight but now also for your Junior. We know getting getting a dog they are not going to live forever. Knight was born right into my hands because I had his mother. He was over 100 pounds and a gentle giant - I called him my Knight in shiny black fur. The one Consolation that we have is that we know our dogs have been happy with us, they never went hungry thirsty or cold and we always loved them but at the same time they gave us so much more - love loyalty and companionship and they never disappointed us. I am crying for Knight and now also for your Junior
I'm sorry for your loss of Knight. What kind of dog was he? I'm going through the same thing. My shepherd was almost 13, and my lab mix was 16. They died six months apart. I actually didn't even watch this video again because I remember how sad it was the first time. But I was just reading through the comments, and I'm already crying. Run free, all good boys and girls. I know we'll meet again someday.
@@mgarcia2445 He was a lab/Shepherd mix and I also had his mom who died when she was almost 15 had his sister the runt in that litter and she died at 9 from kidney failure and she and Knight had a little one together (my landlord wasn't watching) and he died of the same thing. They are only with us for a shirt period of time but they give us a lifetime of Love and loyalty

It’s the highest price to pay for loving a dog! Heartbreaking. I lost my two pitbulls; Chino in 2015, and have not gotten past that, and Brie in 2022, my heart is broken. I have since adopted another pitbull, Journey, who fills the void. But every time I lose a dog a piece of my heart goes with them. Cesar, you are a wonderful, kind and loving individual. I feel your grief in my heart. Daddy and Junior will always be special and their legacy will live on forever….

I know the pain, lost my boxer boy last year at 6 and half , was really hard, I still miss him a lot .
My Great Dane Loki passed a little over a week ago and it's like losing a child. He was 9 yrs old. We were all outside and my son was throwing the ball and Loki just collapsed and died within minutes :( I knew he was getting to be an old dog. He was always with me every minute of everyday :( Everything I do reminds me of him :( Tons of love and prayers! Your videos helped me train him to be the best Great Dane ever!!!
I've never been without a dog since 1959, it never gets any easier to say goodbye, but that's just how it is, we'll always have our memories, each one was an individual, with its own character, and I was privileged to know them all.

I'm 2 years late to finding this video. I'm so sorry for your loss of Junior. I remember watching the episode when you got Junior and that playful way he lifted his front legs so high while walking with you and Daddy. He truly was an ambassador for the breed and did such a good job of being your right hand dog after Daddy passed him the torch. Dogs are the BEST. God bless you Cesar.

That’s exactly what I was remembering. Daddy was such an amazing dog. When Junior came along he was just adorable and Daddy was such a wonderful role model for him. It was sad when Daddy passed. It’s just so hard to believe that Junior is gone too. The years went so swiftly! It’s heartbreaking to lose our animal friends.

Still getting over my pit mix I lost nine months ago. Johnny Cash was a wonderful boy. He was a gentle giant, as he was half pit, a quarter Rottie and the other quarter a border collie-cattle dog cross. So loving, playful and friendly to all, while still taking his protective role seriously when the moment called for it. The best dog I've ever had. Your remembrance of Junior and Daddy has brought back the tears.
I got a dog in 2006, when I was 16 and I have watched Cesar Millan ever since then. My dog also passed 10 days before Junior. Its been easily one of the hardest experiences of my life. I'm sorry for your loss Cesar, thank you for everything and thank you for everything to Daddy and Junior.

Cesar my dog Max is a three year old blue nose pitbull. I rescued him from our local pound. He is the spitting image of junior. Please know that junior will always be remembered through my Max .
Daddy and Junior were blessed with love, respect and a home where they felt safe and secure. What a beautiful tribute to two amazing dogs. I know they live on too. They'll greet you again one day.

Daddy, Junior and Cesar helped me be the right parent to my beautiful soul Beau rescue from a neighborhood abuser. We had 10 wonderful years together, and he actually helped rehabilitate people here where I live, in other states I visited and in the friends from Europe to get a new perspective on what a Staffie is all about.
Beau changed so many hearts from thinking Pitties and Staffies were anything other than the loving supporting and docile best friends they are born to be. He healed college students (my neighbor asked me if she could bring him to college for her thesis.) He became a friend to my mother in law who changed her attitude and love for dogs to include a Staffie. I'd walk Beau down the street and neighbors would talk to their dogs "why don't you mind me like that?" and I'd say "Watch Cesar" (I did not tell more than 3 neighbors - "watch Cesar Millan"
I was in Germany once and my friend's family wanted me to visit a farm that had a horribly reputed dog that would bite off your face. I visited the farm. The pup was tied up on less than a 4 ft lead. I recognized the symptoms of the pup and knelt with my back towards it while the family kept yelling don't do that, he will maul you. (In German)
But knowing what I'd learned from several seasons of Cesar, I allowed the pup to be calm and submissive by showing I was not a threat. That pup followed us around the farm for over an hour and stayed at my heel.
When we went to dinner that evening my German beautiful family was babbling about how I tamed the shrew, (a miracle apparently) another table was listening and all I said was "I learned my best person from Cesar Millan" and a table across the room understood "Cesar Millan" if nothing else mattered because that was the magic pill. I've not been back in quite a few years. The family did let me know the pup that was so protective of everyone but the two I had in my extended family did not trust anyone but those two whom were on our pack walk.
Cesar has transcontinental influence for those of us that love pups and their integral part of our lives.
I’m getting old. It doesn’t seem long ago when he got this dog.
It’s no exaggeration when I say that Cesar, Daddy, and Junior changed my life by showing me how to be a pack leader - with my dogs, other animals, and even other human packs. Like so many millions around the world, I’m rejoicing that Junior lived and grieving his loss along with Cesar.

Damn... another great dog to me gone. I know no one will see this comment, but my own dog used to belong to my father, and he left her with my uncle, he couldn't take care of her so he was going to put her down, that's when I stepped in and got her out of there, she had unkept fur and was over weight when I got her, I got her to a silky smooth coat and a healthy weight. Sometimes when I wake up in the morning I'll walk out my room and expect to do my normal routine with her, but she's always no longer there by my door, waiting for me to take her for a walk. She passed due to a cancer growing in her jaw, when she was about 12 years old we took her to the vet for a lump on her jaw and they confirmed it to be cancer, and she'd only survive for a few more months.... until that time came, I would continue our routine and be happy with her, and as it turns out she lasted almost 2 years, until she was too weak to continue, and with that, she had met her last summer.... she left the world in a tight embrace, my embrace, as I hugged her until I felt her go limp there on that vet table.... I didn't dare shed a tear for her at the time, and kept her on a leash, until we placed her into her final resting place, there I would unlatch her color and with a wavering voice, would tell her spirit to go, to be free to play in the fields around us as long as she wanted to... I took the leash with me but I left her with her collar on, as that was her identity.... I hope you're still doing well out there, Niska, my precious puppy.

I always forget junior has to grow old as well, I still think that he's a young puppy, but he's 15 and it's been that long already. You heal all of us, and we thank you very much for that. We love daddy and junior dearly and we look forward to you see another of your successor.

I cant stop crying too...cant believe Junior is already 14...its soooo difficult to loose our special companion...they are always-always there for us... i lost my 2 very dear companions....and i understand how truly difficult it is.....
@@phuahnini6871 It's not even my dog and I'm very affected by it. When I look at junior he still looks like a puppy and honestly I don't ever remember how old he is. And this came as a total shock to all of us.
And he's right, That blue Pitbull changed the way the world look at them forever. Good on them. .!! Pitbulls are the kindest, caring and most loyal dog breed you'll ever come across..
My grandma had a pitbull and she was the sweetest dog in the world. All she wanted was play and affection.
My nelly a black staffy died 4 years ago. I loved her more than some of my family. She was very spiritual and intelligent and loved my kids so much. She was so obedient that I didnt even need a leash to walk her. I'm in the uk and loved watching your shows. It's nice to see how close you were to your dogs and how different each dogs personality was. RIP daddy and junior we will always remember you❤❤❤❤

We loved Daddy, and then fell in love with Junior! We say what a great dog(s) he was, but you were a great human to them. That’s at its best.
Wow! It's so hard to believe Jr was 15. It seems like only a couple of years that he was a puppy. I imagine he and Daddy are playing it up right now. Both will always be remembered and forever loved.

I haven't watched Cesar for years now, but I too remember when Junior was a puppy and how highly Cesar regarded him . It boggle the mind that he was 15 years old, Wow. He was special.
Cesar just put words to the feeling in my broken heart, my Robbie was pts on 30th. July at 16 years, he was from my first litter and took his first and last breath with me by his side.
So much love and so much loss....still, we must be thankful for all the years of joy together...

My dog passed away 9 month ago. She was 13 years old and also by my side on every single day. I`m so grateful to her. She was the greatest love in my life. I've been sad every day for 9 months because I miss her so much.

I know Bruh. Its 2:40am PST and I couldn't even finish watching the video because I was getting emotional. Anyone who has owned a pet and had them in their lives for over 10-15yrs, never do well with the loss. I had to put my dog down from cancer and I had her from middle school, high school and 4yrs of college. That Jack Russell was my ride or die BESTY!.... I would have given up my life for her and she would have done the exact same for me!... RIP Justice!.... Daddy will always love you!....
I remember junior when he was introduced when daddy was still alive. Can’t believe time flys by that quick. Wish dogs lived longer like us but he was an amazing soul

Everyone that absolutely loves you for the person you are, and what you do (and how it's all about the energy of people) that is the guiding force, also knows just how perceptive Daddy was and how you taught each other that lesson of energy. But as you said, Junior was completely different, yet he recognized those same qualities in you that Daddy loved about you. A Letter from the Rainbow Bridge
Hi, Mom
Now that I’ve been across The Rainbow Bridge for a couple weeks, they said I should write a letter home. Sorry, Mom but I’m so busy ‘across the bridge’ that I haven’t thought of home much. They said it’s okay and that you would understand. I hope you do. (I think you will.)
Remember that night when I wasn’t feeling very well and we were all crying? I don’t remember much, but I do remember seeing and hearing all of you and feeling your touches and hugs…I remember hearing “we love you” and that one last command of “Go through”. I didn’t know what you meant, so I turned around and walked through the fog that was in front of me. I saw the biggest bridge I’ve ever seen! And so many friends on the other side of it! They were all playing with toys and balls! You were right to tell me to go there!
My feet kept moving forward, but my heart kept pulling me back. Your touches became lighter and lighter and I wanted to come back and nudge your hands for more love, but I was overcome by this feeling of curiosity for the happy place over the bridge! My feet started moving on their own, like a gentle breeze was moving them forward for me! I can’t explain it, but I had no doubt that it was the right thing to do!
So, I walked across that big, huge bridge by myself! I looked for you, because you’re always by my side, walking with me, but this was different. I didn’t have a collar around my neck or a leash connecting me to you ~ I was ‘free’! Even though you weren’t there with me, I never felt alone! I actually felt like I had a huge cape of love wrapped around my body and the more I walked, the easier it was to breathe! So, I kept walking! And I would feel more warmth in the big hug, so I kept on walking! I eventually made it over the big bridge - I did it by myself, mom. When I got here, all of my new friends greeted me and helped me walk off the bridge ~ it was so cool! They gave me a pair of wings and said that I was now a Guardian Angel!
What I’ve learned over these past few weeks has been amazing and nothing like I’ve seen before! We’re all the same up here ~ we all have wings and we all have Forever People to watch over ~ that’s YOU, mom !You’re my Forever Person and I’m your Forever Dog! We had such a great life together and I do miss you a LOT, but please know that I am so happy in my new home across The Bridge!
I’ll send you another Earth Angel so you won’t be alone. Give them your whole heart, like you gave it to me. I’ll check in every so often to make sure they treasure your love ~ I always did! When you miss me, think of a rainbow and know I’m on the other side of it, waiting to walk with you again. I’ll always be in your heart. I love you, mom! Time for me to go play

Woo, I'm definitely crying after that. I remember a memorial sort of talk over Daddy having passed, and it feels wild to me to see that now we've got one for Junior. But Cesar's right, it's new beginnings and he was a beautiful spirit and he's still here. Much love and let's continue to explore and create until it's our time as well... where they will be waiting for us.
