tyrion face is priceless
***** u got issues quill
Petek121 He has an obsession with dragons idk if they ever said this on the show
***** Heh heh I see what you did there sir ;)
Petek121 Because Peter Dinklage is a great actor. When Emilia Clarke is supposed to look badass she does the same facial expression of when she is seeing Daario's penis.
Petek121 he was like: I BELIEVE !!
I love Tyrion's face when he sees what Drogon is capable of. You can pinpoint the moment when he decides that Daenerys might actually have a chance at the Iron Throne.
Linh Le Has episode 8 taught you nothing? Fuck the iron throne! Drogon, Viserion and Rhaegal need to get NORTH
Still hope she never sits on the Throne. I hope her unsullied continue to get whittled down by peasants and her Dragons take many more spears.
Me too
oooor that he was just surprised at seeing a dragon lighting people at fire right in front of his face? stopp adding depth where there are no depth.
When Drogon arrived I yelled at the screen "Yes! Burn them all! Burn them all!"
I'd say I have a problem, but the Harpy's deserve it. They've done unforgivable things like killing Ser Barristan and almost killing Grey Worm.
Now you just sound like the Mad King.
I guess every King tends to get a little mad.
King Kindred Stannis went a bit Targaryen this week too
King Kindred even a onsoltid was bruned 0:59
The Heathen Kite Yep. Lost respect for that mad King last night.
The CGI looked so shitty and cheesy when she was riding on Drogon's back
***** um, guys? what will happen to tyrion and lord friendzone?
***** dolan pls u cant even fly dont judge #nohatters2k12
raka980916 lmao the part where Harry rides Buckbeak in Prisoner of Azkaban looked better, and that movie came out 11 years ago
***** just like your mum
There's a difference between a show and a movie. Movie cgi tends to look better than show cgi.
I think danny flew off with in fear of drogons life not hers
***** They keep growing untill they die. Here's a picture of Balerion The Dread who lived for about 200 years: cdn3-www.comingsoon.net/assets/uploads/2014/04/file_117287_0_dragongameofthroneslarge.jpg
In the books it's more clear. She has no control over where her dragon is taking her.
***** they were spears that were hurting him and they would hurt any dragon, it didn't show him in pain at any point just made him more angry.
FINALLY! Someone gets it! 👏🏼
***** In the books, some dragons were described as big enough to swallow a horse whole. Should give you some perspective.
Tyrion is going to ride one of the dragons for sure, he's always been fascinated with dragons amd he even a dream about dragons, so I think it goes without saying that he's going to ride one of the dragons
justin King It is possible and I personally hope he will. Tyrion dreams of dragon as you said just like Targaryens and "Dragon has three heads."
justin King He needs to ride a dwarf dragon. These dragons are too big.
Manny Lugz Are you forgetting the other 2 dragons who are actually smaller then this one?
***** Tyrion is a Targaryen, Jon is the other.
Waise S tyrion a targaryen? What do u get that from..
0:55 poor unsullied soldier gets burned with the harpies lol.
***** lmfaoo didnt even notice that
***** That was my first concern lol
Mustard .Chief
yeaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh
***** I missed this part.
***** Yeah. Drogon also burns Dany's hair and clothes. It would be more awesome if they did like in the books, but great scene anyway.
before the scene i was like: please be dragons, please be dragons ..
and in this scene .. PRICELESS !! O_O
rickiikaka I was calling for him... And when Drogon came... I was speechless. Amazing ending. :DD
N. and Jongin same reaction !! epic ending !!
rickiikaka Yea !! GoT is slaying it since 2 weeks
N. and Jongin hope the finally will be as good ..
rickiikaka Me too, if they continue like this, I will probably die XD
Lmao! She was like " Fuck ya'll! I'm out!"
iChinnyAce - Dude! She has to make sure her Dragon survives at all cost. She ain't shit without them!
shes fine
iChinnyAce Tyrion was like, "Thanks for showing me a miracle and leaving me bitch!"
Brandon Hardison She was trying to save Drogon. He isn't fully grown yet which is why he got injured.
iChinnyAce i think her plan is to release the other two dragons and them burn all of them. The sons of the harpy can't deafeat 3 dragons
best moment in all 5 seasons
***** at least for me
Petek121 I don't know, when Atreyu on Falcor looks more realistic you might have a problem :))
Petek121 Ahahahaa..... ahah... nuh
Petek121 It's a cool and unique moment, but it doesn't even come close to some others.
Petek121 This moment was amazing, but the Massacre at Hardhome, with all the wights and White Walkers was the best moment in S5. And I doubt ep. 10 will top it too.
I love the bit at 0:39. Drogon is like "Back the f**k off bitch!"
In regards to Dany escaping on Drogon, I think it was more to save him rather than just escape. He is one of her babies, he is her favourite dragon and in this moment he wouldn't leave her. If she had not escaped with him, more and more spears would have been thrown at him and may have killed him.
As for Stannis - WTF man? He is going as mad as Dany's father.
VERITASERUMUK I don't think the spears can even kill a dragon... Most likely they just hurt him, as you'd expect. Only seemed to make him madder. Dany just didn't like to watch her dragon suffering for her.
Nuclearcx I'm not sure if they would kill him but he is still very young. They could do some serious damage. Now Dany must release the other 2.
VERITASERUMUK Never thought I'd see the day where Stannis's wife seemed the sane one of the two.
VERITASERUMUK I agree with you on that. I think "maternal" instinct was a stronger drive than survival and inspired her to risk the attempt. I wonder if that hole in his wing is self-healing? bandage? mylar patch? photo shop?
Nuclearcx They certainly didn't penetrate to any real depth... probably just wedged between scales. More just annoying than dangerous.
How to train your Drogon
Captain Hero let him take a few spears and pull them out... lmfao
Captain Hero lmao!
Captain Hero haha Khaleesi need watch this movie
***** Naa, it would take more than a few spears to kill a dragon of Drogon's size. His hide is thick and his scales are armor. The spears barely got in, just minor scratches to him and nowhere near vital organs. Had Dany not been there and Drogon was facing them alone, he probably would have taken to the air and fried them from above...but he was protecting Dany and didn't want to leave the ground.
Now the ass kicking is about to get REAL, baby! All those people crying and blubbering over their precious masters and how 'UNFAIR' everything was to them (Pffft!) are REALLY going to have something to squeal about soon enough when Dany and her dragons get done with that entire side of the Narrow Sea...and I can't wait to watch the REAL ass kicking begin! She's been holding back. Not anymore. Bwhahahaha!
***** I'm not sure...I know the info is in the history and lore...we may need to brush up on that. lol Balerion died of old age, I know that much. There were many Targaryen dragons back in the day. I think I'll do some more reading on the history and lore today.
Episode 10...and next season... can't get here soon enough! Man, Dany haters are really gonna be hating in the next 2 seasons and I'm going to be loving it! XD
I actually had tears in my eyes when Drogon flew out of the fighting pits with Daenerys on his back. I can't recall a scene in GoT as awesome as this. Also she finally saw how truly loyal Ser Jorah was and forgave him. Absolutely beautiful scene :)
Is she ever going to get to touch his nose?...
Schmitski2033 I think that's kind of like third base with dragons :3
Lmfao
King Kula I mean cmmon Danny didn't your mum ever tell you, you can look but not touch...
probably why she keeps trying to touch him then... ;)
What do you mean by "you can look but not touch"? :o
The look on Danys' face when she saw Drogan oh wow. That deserves a standing ovation, that is acting on its absolute wow.
this was by far one of the most epic moments so far :O
Out ranks all other badass dragon scenes
Luke Palmer naw
Luke Palmer Even Dracarys? I dont think so. It was still an awesome and epic moment though.
*Jorah steps up in the pit*
Hizdahr: "Your grace.."
Daario: "Shut your mouth!"
Am I the only one who laughed his ass off?
No I pissed myself. XD
This is the fourth time I watch this. I cannot stop it!
When drogon started getting hit by spears i fucking shat my pants i was actually thinking he may die, but then i realised its fucking Drogon and he is a fucking dragon, i got scared though thinking something bad was going to happen. luckily nothing did.
Jim Bobster Haha really? I was just thinking there's no chance your puny spears are going to kill my Drogon.
This scene made up for the horrible travesty that happened at the North.
and Braavos
***** I heard someone saying she was a servant girl. She sure wasn't dressed as a prostitute.
***** Little girls can often be too scared to say anything.
PS: I don't know if this also happened in the books. If so, hopefully a book reader can clarify it.
***** "She was a prostitute though, so it wasn't rape or anything." Wow... listen to yourself
***** Im sure it was, when I heard he wanted a fresh one tomorrow I assumed he meant virgin.
I just loved tyrion's acting. we know the dragon is cgi, but look at tyrion...he seems like he actually is seeing a dragon up close for the first time. great actor!
How come no one threw a spear at Daenerys? She was right there? Did they mean to capture her? Because whatever Jorah saved her from looked an awful lot like an assassination attempt.
I wondered that as well, They could easily have killed her if they wanted to
Alfred Munkenbeck I think the fear of dying from the dragon became their first concern
Brian Ingram They didn't fear it enough to throw spears in its back.
Plot armour
Alfred Munkenbeck Smaller target, further distance, she had a ring of shields. There were probably attempts
This is the moment when everyone realizes Dany is going to win the Game of Thrones
Cow Henderson You got that right
Cow Henderson Sadly. It does seem like it. She has the biggest plot armour in Game Of Thrones.
If you think this has a happy ending, then you clearly haven't been paying attention.
- Ramsay of House Bolton, heir to Winterfell, the Dreadfort, and the North
Cow Henderson I still think she has a long way to go before getting anywhere remotely near to winning it. She still has a lot to learn but I'd be an idiot if I said that this moment wasn't awesome.
She is the chosen one. The true ruler of all kingdoms.
How to train your drogon
Wow, what a scene. Last night I was clapping and yelling when I saw it. Can't wait for season 6.
Dragon Streak incoming , ITS OVER ..
ENEMY TACTICAL NUKE INBOUND!!!
FoxyCD Friendly AC-130 inbound!
81GhostSlayer Just throw a few spears at it then will run away.
iampain76 Ya ya. Fire spec got nerfed this xpac and you can see he's got the rotation all wrong, not supposed to cast pyroblast right off the bat like that. Dragon newb.
Valkyrie Sardo +10 internets for you!
The unsullied sure seem mighty and powerful... getting killed by peasants. I also dont see why they walk around with spears in tight corridors (like the fightscene with barristan)
Terra Incognita Gaming Troops in the real world like Romans or Spartans did terribly out of formation, several Roman legions were destroyed when they were attacked while marching by a much smaller group of rebels. The unsuiled were out of phalanx formation (when they are all in nice rows and look like a box), so they perform much worse, while the leader of the second sons performs much better because he was trained in single combat.
John McDonough It's said the unsullied are trained in 3 different weapon, they could just switch to their swords since they're garrisoned and not on open field.
Thiago Naves Still terrible positioning, during Spartan times, the majority of their causalities came at the end of the battle, where they broke formation, took out their swords, and chased down the survivors, 90% of their deaths occurred during this time period.
John McDonough Source? Because by the time hoplites arrived, people didn't flee battlefields anymore. It was all arranged, clean, on a nice terrain and it was until everyone was dead. A good example is the 300 vs 300 of Sparta and Argos, where Sparta won with two men standing. No one fled. It was until the end. And what did the survivors do afterward? Dragged all the bodies, armors and weapons on a big fucking pile as a trophy.
Nemo No people fled, generally the more determined/maintained army won the battles.
From wikipedia:
Pararrhexis: "Breaching" the opposing phalanx, the enemy formation shatters and the battle ends. Cavalry would be used at this point to mop up the scattered enemy.
Oh and that battle you mentioned? Neither side one, it was indecisive with the other side having 1 person left as well. Also it wasn't a real battle, it was a pitched fight. Both sides had huge armies, but decided to send the 300 best champions against each other instead to reduce the amount dead.
0:58 Drogon gets a sick team kill collateral on an unsullied:'D
I've watched this like 10 times already.
🎶I believe I can fly,
I believe I can touch the sky🎶
I see people complaining about this scene. This is television. Game of Thrones has a lot less to work with than some big-budget Hollywood movie. They had a limited amount of time to do the scene, and they could do only so much with it in terms of the special effects. I say that with what they had, they did an awesome job with it. I mean, when you consider all that went into creating the arena in the first place; then we have a big dragon come in and breathe fire on all those people! What other television show offers up special effects that look as good as this? It was an amazing scene, the likes of which has never been done before, and you whiners need to appreciate that.
M. Strain Jr. "It was an amazing scene, the likes of which has never been done before, and you whiners need to appreciate that."
Fuck you, your opinion is not fact. This scene was mediocre, especially compared to last episode's Hardhome scenes.
Attack on Titan is actual feces I was talking in terms of the cg work and camera trickery to make the scene look the way it did. A lot went into making it that good. With a limited budget, they did really good, especially considering the Hardhome scene from last week.
Attack on Titan is actual feces Hardhome only looked better because CGI is easy to pull off in the dark. There was no quality differences.
Besides, this scene had to be in the broad daylight and actually have a scene where a real actor has to touch the CGI, stop being a bitch.
Well said I couldn't agree more
***** They have to do 10 hours in a whole season though, while movies generally run about two hours (unless it's written and directed by Peter Jackson). GoT has to make that money stretch further.
The best part of her flying away with that epic music in the background is Tyrion's expression at the end now he knows that Daenerys is no ordinary Queen she is potentially the one destined to save them all like Varys and Jorah said. He believes in her and with Tyrion believing in her that puts her a big step ahead to Westeros. And if that's Tyrion's reaction imagine what Cersei and Jamie's will be. Truly one of the most beautiful moments in the show.
this and the dracarys moment were hands down the best moments of the series so far! GOOSEBUMPS
I imagined Drogon was a bit bigger when I read this scene.
xHugoxN7 also thought it was funny none of the Harpy's tried to spear Daenerys
xHugoxN7 Yeah, me too, more like Alduin from Skyrim. There is still time for him to grow though. Balerion was basically a T-rex with wings. That breathes fire. No wonder they called him "the Dread".
xHugoxN7 "also thought it was funny none of the Harpy's tried to spear Daenerys" Sssh, don't talk about it, let it go u-u
There's way too many fuck up, but still awesome *wink*
Terrible assassins should be fired really. XD
XD
Why are they so many haters say that was shitty when she was riding on Drogo?
Drogo looks very real according to me. And the special effects are always amazing. Did you see the White Walkers in the 8th episode? It was amazing. Literally. So stop saying shit, it was more than convincing.
***** I agree this is some of the best CG I've ever seen.
:)
This is easily one of the best scenes from this season
i don't get why drogon didn't fly in circles burning them all instead of landing and being a fish out of the water
and the harpies just stood there waiting to get burned, lame
Andrea Pacifico Because he wanted to take his Mother the Hell out of there. Not make a Barbecue.
to avoid them throwing more spears etc Id say
Andrea Pacifico And I wonder why didn't the harpies all start throwing their spears at Dany like they did to Drogon.
Andrea Pacifico He could've easily killed Daario, Jorah, Missandei and more Unsullied. He only killed one Unsullied because he was surrounded by the Sons of the Harpy, other than that, he made sure that Dany's friends were unburnt.
I found Drogon's reaction after Dany pulls out the spear out to be hilarious.
It is like he goes from "FFFFUUUUCCCCKKKKK YYYYOOOOOUUUUUU" to "Hi mom. I love you"...
Did anyone else noticed Jorah touched Daenerys with his bare hands... I thought people with Greyscale pass it on by touching...
Yes !
Sephiroth Jenova-Crescent Yeah I thought so too. Also, Daenerys just leaves everyone to their death and fly away ?
Sephiroth Jenova-Crescent I think she would need to touch the infected area itself in order to contract it.
Sephiroth Jenova-Crescent Targaryens have the "blood of the dragon" and are immune to greyscale, actually.
Lars Benson Actually, no. Princess Maegelle Targaryen is said to have died of greyscale in 96 AC. My guess is that Dany won't become infected because she didn't touch the infected area.
Definitivamente o melhor capítulo de todas as temporadas! Me curvei a esta cena final, simplesmente estupenda!
Sor Jorah, Daario Naharis e Tyrion Lannister.
That little look Drogon gave Dany was precious
It was soooooooooo epic! Was I the only one who was very excited and touched to cry? Daenerys! ♥
3:02 Tyrion standing there thinking "Fucking Varys was right"
Oh my god I've been waiting for this moment since reading the books. Perfect, perfect, perfect, Music was on point. Drogon was on point. Emilia was on point. PERFECT. I CAN'T STOP WATCHING IT.
That was such a great scene! The gladiator fights, the massacre, the last stand in the center, and the fucking amazing entrance of the most badass thing in this show. I do feel bad for the Unsullied who were killed by Drogon though, they just got in his way.
I'm stunned that people are nitpicking so much. Daenerys Targaryen flew away on a dragon that just torched/ate about twenty people, what more do you want?
Agree and imagine if she had her other 2 children
papo493 They're still chomping on Masters down in the cellar. We don't talk about those ones...
Lol hopefully the annoying harpies get wiped out soon
Jonathan Parker They'll be loose soon enough. heh heh
papo493 **SPOILER**
In the books, all 3 were loose, pissed off and wrecking shit. lol
One of the best scenes on GoT so far! Beautifully acted by Clarke and Dinklage! When she climbs on Drogons back, looking like a scared little child and the look on Tyrions face ... !!! ... I was really touched, there!
I can't get enough of this scene...and the music score...chills, good chills, and heart warming every time I watch and listen.
Everyone that is talking about how she didn't take anyone else with her needs to understand that no one other than Targaryen can mount a dragon. It becomes very clear once you read The World of Ice and Fire.
Well D&D changed that rule 😬😬
@@dopelikekristyle139 It was never a rule. Targeryens could take passengers and situations like that are mentioned in The World of Ice and Fire. And even if the first comment was right: the show only needs to stay true to itself. Adaptations are not bound by rules of the books unless those rules are incorporated into them.
0:55 teamkill R.I.P. unsullied
Friendly fire.
Jan Francírek Drogon's the Dick Chenney of dragons... shoots his own hunting buddy.
Stannis The Mannis pun intended.
Jan Francírek The dragon can't make difference... not yet anyways! Drogon knew only one thing: His mother was trapped in the center of the arena!!! When the dragon landed the center was actually the safest place!
Pretty badass, not gonna lie. I especially loved the shots of Tyrion during this.
All those people running in circles are really funny..hahahaa
"Is she leaving us to die?"
'Dragon flies off over the horizon'
"Yep she's leaving us to die."
where did the scales on his back go when she sat down on them?! :o:o:o
That really bugged me
luffytrace1 but plug got edition
luffytrace1 it got out.. when he moved 2:30 you can see it.. :)
luffytrace1 I say daeny could be enjoying that ride a little too much ;)
luffytrace1 There were gaps in between you bunch of pervs.
This still gives goosebumps❤
I have many opinions on GoT, but here are my thoughts on this scene in particular.
1. Unsullied, the ones who defeated 12,000 dothraki being only 3,000 of them, are getting killed by peasants with masks like they were bugs in a web.
2. Drogon, a creature whose fire is able to melt entire constructions and his and his brother's only presence almost meant the defeat of Westeros once Dany decided to take back the iron throne, gets pwned by 4 wooden spears and needs to fall back from the attack of commoners with masks and knives.
3. About 30 or 40 harpies surrounding the perfect defence circle of 9 unsullied, an old knight, the queen's bodyguard, and a dwarf with a knife, are unable to pass through and dumb enough not to attack while everyone is looking at the sky to murder the queen.
Great series, but its moments like those that really break the atmosphere, also the CGI from the moment dany climbed on drogon's back till the end looked like out of an old syfy tv show.
You're mostly wrong in all of your points, but I respect your opinion.
One, if the Unsullied met the Harpy in open battle, it would be a blood bath. Much like when the Americans fought the British in the Revolutionary War. What the Harpy are doing is guerrilla warfare. They're hiding, creating traps, surrounding and overwhelming the enemy. Even the best fighter in the world can be easily beaten outnumbered and surrounded. And they killed many of the Harpy as well. I'd also argue that the Unsullied have been a bit too pampered lately.
Two, no one had a chance to attack Dani. The next closest Harpy was still a good 100 feet or more away. She had a circle of defenders and a dragon torching dozens of Harpy. By the time she got on the dragon most of the Harpy was dead or had fled. Her remaining men in sure could handle it at that point. As for the spears hurting the dragon... He's still growing. He will become more impervious to damage as he grows bigger.
Finally, the CGI was damn good for a TV show. The only issue was not with the CGI, but the green screen work on a couple of the flying shots was a little wonky. Still, those are hard to pull off. Some movies with a $200 mil budget still don't pull those off very well. All-in-all. It looked pretty good.
Matthew Woodrum same as you, I dont agree with your response, but I equally respect your opinion.
When the unsullied were introduced, they were a heavy militarized and trained group of soldiers/mercenaries, called some of the greatest warriors there could be, so while I do agree that a guerrilla warfare is pretty chaotic, once the battle came to be a military group with combat experience would have regrouped, or at least, be able to take some of the enemies, which they did, but pretty badly. Remember they've beaten dothraki while being outnumbered, I dont think the harpies would've stand a chance against dothraki in the same situation, but it could be because of their crazed combat expertise.
Look again, when theyre forming the circle just before drogon appears, the harpies are like 7 steps away from dany, and they had plenty of time to attack before drogon appears. It also bothered me so much how they went 1v1 against them, but I recognize its all because the plot demands for them to survive, its the absurdity of the situation what I disliked, maybe make less harpies surround them or make them keep coming from the spectator seats would've been better than having them all wait doing nothing around dany.
As I've said in other comments, of course it is good cgi for a tv show, but GoT has shown better and this being a pretty impressive moment (on paper) was a bit of a dissappointment. However, I think you nailed it mentioning the lightning and green screens, after rewatching it I believe that was the problem and a little more editing or re recording wouldve solved.
Well, I agree with you there. They had the numbers and the position to simply charge all in and overwhelm her remaining troops. But instead were dicking around attacked a couple at a time. Which this was clearly a plot contrivance to create the drama for the dragon rescue. I think perhaps they should have given her a few more unsullied to make this thing more believable.
As far as the numbers, even a two handed Jamie Lannister could be easily bested by five mediocre swordsman if he had to fight them all at the same time. Her Unsullied though, I agree, are not living up to expectations. I had no problem with Barriston and Grey Worm losing their fight though. I think it was more realistic that they lost actually.
Matthew Woodrum same, I would've actually been mad if they had won even though they both took out like 3 of them with serious stab wounds.
EKasis About #3. Well, you if you and your friend were playing a game, say a wrestling game. If you saw a real life huge dragon flying in front of you, you think you would've finished your friend while he was busy looking at the dragon? No. Cause you would've been looking at it too.
looks like khaleesi finally learned how to train her drogon ;)
Drogon: "MOM, ARE YOU OKAY? DON'T TOUCH MY FUCKING MOM!"
The most awesome of this most awesome scene is Tyrions face.
The thing I love the most in this scene is the soundtrack.
WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO:
" You will avenge my death, and seat my daughter on the Iron Throne. Or die in the attempt ."
Stannis the Mannis, TWoW
Pierin24 he did the right choice. If he loses the war then everybody will die, one life sacrificed so millions can live. (Stannous believes that he is the only one capable of killing The White Walkers, and he is the only one who gives a damm about stopping them)
Acedia DeKay but that wasn't his choice.
Acedia DeKay But she was his daughter, it's one thing to kill a child, but to burn them alive at the stake is above and beyond monstrous
he need the Iron Throne so he can stop The White Walkers, and he need to win it before all of his soldiers freeze to death
Pierin24 its gonna happen in the books.
The flying part looked cheesy the way it looked against the background. The dragon itself looked good. Almost as good as the dragon from Harry Potter 4.
Ariful Karim better
Ariful Karim Used up their budget on episode 8.
I was waiting for this cut scene on youtube right after watching the episode. Thank you uploader. Its my best season so far!
Farhan Mehmood But I feel so bad when Jon Snow died in finale
Love this scen!! Loved how Drogon came and was like " Medium rare or well done mommy" yess burn them all Dany allll!! Hope she is on the Iron Throne at the end!!! lols love Tyrions face when Drogon comes " omg its a dragon...a freaking dragon" priceless hehe
After this...I played skyrim again!!!
something to say!!! lol I literally started playing skyrim again yesterday. I guess I was looking forward to the ep....
Same! XD
something to say!!! Yes there is nothing quite as satisfying as hacking dragon to bloody pieces with an ebony axe.
1:42-1:45. Holy SHIT. Amazing CGi on Drogon
Dany: Where have you been?
Hizdahr: Just making sure everything is in order
...
And then shit happens
Peter Dinklage's expression at the end is HILARIOUS. Like "oh. there goes and now everything sucks"
If Dany would've died, I would be sobbing hysterically. She gets to live another Season. But if Cersei dies I'm going to be happy.
This is amazing CGI for TV.
Drogon arriving in a fireball didn't make sense but looked so badass!
i love how he screeches in her face for a hot second and then he’s like…oh hi Ma sry
It really frustrates me when the stark family members are so close together, but they fail to realize it then go seperate ways!!!!!!! Btw anyone else think Arya is a complete bad ass, i wish she has some fight scenes in the future!
Did... did Drogon just wink at her?
I love the music that plays when Drogon starts burning people. It was the same with the scene in Yunkai when he burned the Unsullied master.
god DAMN!!...the show never disappointes and this episode blew my mind!!! i've read the books but to see it come to life like this is amazing keep up the AMAZING work u do
Kind of a dick move for Dany to just peace out and leave everyone else behind.
Meat Tornado her face 's impression says she is worrying for Drogon, she left to save him
She was worried for Drogon's life, not hers. He's still very young
If only Daenery's two other dragons were there... They would've slain dem bitchezzz #Dragons4life
@1:43 Drogon went like "Look mommy I'm a big dragon now!! :))".
dany: *holds hands with missandei* if we die, we die together.
*drogon flies in*
dany: oh shit there's my ride lol bye
Dany's AZOR AHAI
kinda selfish how she left tyrion and the others behind while still getting surrounded by those harpys
Guardianfan It is her, who Harpies wanted to kill the most. And you can see later, their friends survived.
Matej Šuňavec Yeah, cause they're wearing plot-armour
Guardianfan No. This was the best and only thing she could do. She was the target and the other ones were just "in their way" Drogon already killed a lot of them and a lot fled. They would have made it if they`d attacked. But I dont think they do.
padawan116 Maybe but if a dragon killed all my friends i would be hesitant to keep fighting.
Matej Šuňavec Yeah, I doubt they just wanted to kill her out of spite, they wanted their city back.... killing those 3 would have achieved that, instead we see them in the throne room in episode 10, still ruling the city. It's plot armor, and illogical.
Drogon was like "mom mom mom mom where are u" lol
Always loved game of thrones since s1......this is the most amazing episode yet........
GRRM said the ending to GOT would be 'bittersweet'. As much as Dany is my absolute favorite character...along with Tyrion...if she must die in the end, which I don't believe for a minute will happen, I'll be miserable, depressed, angry and sad for quite some time, but I'll have to accept it.
On the other hand, if the DRAGONS perish for any reason, I will hunt GRRM down every night in my dreams and flay him alive like a Bolton. . Above Dany and above Tyrion and above all, the dragons are my favorite characters. ;D
The dragons are beautiful and magical, but their real role in this series is to decimate the whitewalkers, every last one. But after that, dragons need a steady and enormous amount of MEAT, and freedom to roam. Can Dany keep her pet dragons in Westeros once she's there? I don't think so....So I see a likelihood of death, or banishment to a very remote place for the dragons. And Dany is their mother, so where her children go, so shall she. But they'll have some great moments of glory, and live in legend for ever after. The End! I'm gonna cry buckets though!
I agree with the need for the dragons to wipe out the Walkers.
I read another book series a few years ago and in that series there were a handful of dragons, which humans were instrumental in bringing back to the world. These dragons were every bit as large as Balerion, the Black Dread when they were full grown. The people bred and raised vast herds of free roaming cattle, goats and sheep just for the sole purpose of keeping the dragons fed.
The dragons had no desire to live in the city, they lived in the mountains or forests where they had their lairs and normally didn't interact with the humans unless there was need, like war, when they'd appear to defend the city from enemies.
I see something similar happening with Dany's three. They don't have to be right next to her all the time, that's clear even from the show. I don't think they'd want to live in a congested city, full of people. Drogon goes off on his own and does his own thing, and Rhaegal and Viserion would as well. There's an obvious bond there and the dragons know what's up with Dany even at a distance and would show up when and if they were needed.
It's not beyond the realm of possibility that Dany could make a similar arrangement for her dragons. The dragons could supplement their meals with the occasional mammoth or whatever, and with herds at their disposal, the land wouldn't be in danger of being hunted bare by them. It could work. :)
+TrueLoner You really do love your dragons! As you said, there is hope for them, I guess....
WarLin Yeah, I really do. My living room is full of dragon sculptures, 3 of them are pretty big and totally gorgeous. Two are holding solar powered orbs and one has a solar powered lantern hanging from the tip of it's tail. When I put them outside for the day, the orbs and lantern glow all night. It's cool as hell. My sons thinks I'm nuts. :)
Look up 'Design Toscano' on google if you like dragons, too. They've got the coolest dragon home decor and I love it. I've been eying some medieval sconces for my walls...
www.designtoscano.com/search.do?query=dragons
I'm praying that it does work out...for GRRM to create these magnificent beasts, then kill them off...?? Oh hell no. lol
+TrueLoner Well, it goes without saying-one's children always think we're nuts!! But a dragon obsession or whatever isn't so bad. I mean, they are the thing of legends. Where would we be without our stories of dragons, and wonder...Anywho hope our dragons make it....
What's the music especially near the end called? Gives me the chills...
Want to know too
***** i think he means the music playing when she's taking flight. not the one when drogon appears.
I found out it's called "Blood of Dragon"
Can't wait for it's full release:)
Hamza Stitan It's almost the same as "breaker of chains" (youtube it and you'll see that the melody is similar starting at 2:40) because most of Daenerys' background music sounds the same. However, when this season is over, they'll release an album featuring this song.
Hamza Stitan It's called "blood of the dragon" you can look it up on youtube. TheGringoMedia channel I think.
amazing no words left to the end of chapter left wanting more
Wait, is this the most powerfull a dragon can get? Because that was not what I expected.
(obviously I haven't read the books or know too much about dragons)
Dyami van Kooten no he is still young they get much much bigger
Dyami van Kooten Nah, remember the Dragon skulls back in Season 1, when Arya is walking through the Red Keep dungeons? Dragons basically continue growing for a few centuries or indefinitely.
It's just a child lol
This is some canon art of the biggest dragon anyone remember anything of called "Balerion the Black Dread. If I remeber everything right he lived for like 200 years so I think this is the maximum size of a dragon.

Dyami van Kooten clearly haven't seen this dragon: cdn3-www.comingsoon.net/assets/uploads/2014/04/file_117287_0_dragongameofthroneslarge.jpg
Damn campers calling airstrikes...
This is super nit picky I know but I wish his fire was black like in the books lol.
never lets audience down. Tht's the reason u love it or hate it, u r glued to this series
Quite a thrilling scene! It reminded me so much of Star Wars Episode II during the Battle of Geonosis and how the Jedi were outnumbered when suddenly a battalion of clones appeared (in this case, the dragon). :)
This scene honestly made Daenerys's dragons look weak in my eyes. If they can be so easily wounded by a few spears, then I really can't imagine them, even with their fire breathing ability, take on the WW army and not get killed in the process. I'm just saying.
***** They're still kids after all
Give them a few more years to grow, their scales will harden so they will become impervious to weapons, they will grow so big just the sight of them and the fear of god will strike the hearts of men, more firepower, etc. Drogon's only 2 years old and dragons can live up to 300 and never stop growing as long as they're out in the open.
***** Drogon is 3... he's barely a cub.
cecessqt Yes, this much I know and thank you for reminding me, but let's not forget that "Winter is here" and time is no longer on Daenerys's side, or anyone else for that matter. I really do hope the dragons do get stronger soon for the sake of the plot.
***** I remember Drogon takes some wing damage in the books. He's still very young, though.
The CGI kind of sucked when she flew off. I missed the usual quality.
This was such an awesome ending, right there with last weeks episode.
Every time I watch this instant chills and tears OMG
Did anyone notice how many times Jorah touched Daenerys?? Or are the writers just going to ignore that??
She's blood of the Dragon. Extremely resistant to all sickness. Never been sick once in her life. They covered this at the start of the series. This is not one of those shows where you can only listen to what you think is important. The littlest thing said can have purpose
***** Targaryens are immune to greyscale, along with most diseases.
Jonathan Madison Lars Benson Thanks!! :D
***** a person can pass only the disease he/she is suffering from, when she doesn't suffer from diseases..don't you get it
97AC Targaryen died of greyscale. So no they are not immune but maybe more resistance to it.
Why didn't they just fire one of those spears at Khaleesi? Hate stupid shit like that.
Daniel McNally You try writing such a complex scene like that and covering all your bases. Some extraordinary scenes require a certain suspention of disbelief. Personally, I try to not think about things like what you mentioned too much, since i'm helping no-one with it and i'm only hurting my enjoyment.
Barackus I know, man. Fair point but I just prefer a bit of practicality over some stupid emo moment between Dany and Drogon. She leaves the protective circle of her Unsullied and is completely vulnerable just so people can go 'awww'
Daniel McNally Well all those bases would be covered if they followed the scene from the book. There were no guys trying to kill her.
Daniel McNally The best theory I can come up with is that by the time she was walking to Drogon their focus was purely on trying to take him out since he was such a big threat. Basically their focus quickly went from trying to kill Danny to just trying survive against a dragon.
You think spears can penetrate plot armour?
AWESOME SCENE. Absolutely EPIC. And best scene of the entire series.
Before more "Dany was so selfish for leaving all her friends behind" lets all remember that Drogon is just a baby dragon, around 2-3 years old. He wouldn't have been able to carry them all anyway. In the books, he struggles to lift petite 15-year-old Dany into the air. Also, she was trying to save him, so she had to get out of there quickly.
