That Honda Civic is probably the ugliest one. 2023 is an all new better looking design.
When were they ever ugly?

I have a 2000 Honda Civic ex 1.6 with over 270,000 miles on it, still runs like a clock. Such a dependable vehicle
A really slow/unsafe clock.
@@BigEightiesNewWave you drive a chrysler, I can tell.
@@BigEightiesNewWave my dad’s tenants son believe it or not survived a crash rolling his 1990 Civic hatchback into a telephone pole. Everyone was shocked. The old Honda saved his life. Don’t always judge a cars safety based on size, I mean Don’t always judge something based on size. Just like a girlfriend. I know, weird😂. But yeah, those old Civics are surprisingly safe. Loads of people survive crashes in smaller vehicles.
I have two Hondas, I have a 2002 Honda Accord with 150,000 miles and is amazing still I also have a 2021 Honda, Civic and love them both
I have 1980 accord with 300k mileage, yet it still run like butter. And feel more smoother and luxurious than most car too
The civic was the nerdy girl that got bullied in highschool now everyone wants her

Love all the old civics
Obviously old ones are gems especially for for those who are buying their first cars
@@nothuman1640 that’s how my 2012 Corolla is had it for 4 years and I’ve only had to replace sparks battery and oil changes, spent around 180 in parts, my battery was original when I replaced it this year

@@nothuman1640obviously? Be quiet peasant. I'd take a fully boosted and tuned 90s honda over some overpriced sports car.

Wasn’t a fan of Hondas growing up, but I do love my 2018 Honda civic hatchback
I understand your point it misses the adrenaline like suzuki swift have always in there cars ❤😊🎉
Dude, they’re not even ugly. I have a 2018 Honda Civic EX-L and it’s such a great car and they look so nice you can’t tell me that they look ugly
He was talking about the older civics 😅
Yeah old Civics look like cockroaches to me
They really made em better in recent gens. I just got myself an 11th gen, and I think it looks great. Couldn't be happier.
I agree the newer ones look fire.

Honda just kept improving, while other car brands slowly fell apart in quality
Toyota Honda Volvo and Lexus: quality improves
GM, Chrysler, Nissan and KiA: quality goes down.
Ford wasn’t included as idk what to think about Their quality now
@@charlesrodriguez7984 Huh? Volvos quality has plummeted since Ford bought them in 99. Try again. Also Lexus IS Toyota. You don't know that?
@@Tylorgng. I know that. Also Volvo still does make good cars. The quality has gone down a little since Geely owns them now
@@charlesrodriguez7984 They aren't "good" they are average. Their safety rating is the only thing thats ahead of others. Their reliability on cars from 2010 is right on par with Ford, which is average. Volvo USED to make one of the most reliable vehicles ever in the late 80s to 90s in the 850. But their cars today are a far cry from that. I've had Volvos for years

Cvt? Oh man what have you done 🤦🏻♂️ you're missing out on the best manual gearbox ever made for a Cvt...
I always loved the look of all the civics, new and old. One of my favorites is hands down the EG civic hatchback, such a fun car to drive hard

Lol but to scotty the eg and the ef are "ugly" and the tenth gen "looks good" 🤣 im 30 and i like the classic look....cos scottys so darn old, the eg is in his mind not a classic
Integra was the best car ever
The civic also got a hell a lot more expensive also

Thank you Scotty. I love Honda civic 2016. Hope you do more videos about them please.
I got 2006 honda civic 1.8 FD1 with manual transmission full modified with nardo grey colour, easily pass 200 kmh top speed on highway, spacious dashboard. Upgraded all soundsystem stuff. I love it so much
An old friend of mine had a 2015 Civic, and it was actually pretty nice for a small car.
I have the 2020 Honda civic. Love my baby. I had a Chevy Cruz. Drove behind a Honda, and said I want that
Just bought a 2024 SI. I was totally surprised by how big they have gotten. I’m in love with it!
That Kakashi window decal ✌️😁
I have a 2016 Civic LX, 2.0L, 6 spd manual. Hands down the best bang for your buck car I will ever own. Did I mention it will not burn any amount of oil in 7,000+ miles oil change! I didnt know it was possible for a motor to be so reliable, and efficient.
2013 civic and it’s my baby
Just picked up a 2018 sport hatchback same car in the video but in the pearlescent white with a 6 speed stick. I love it.
My mom is always shocked by the amount of room in my civic lol. I love the design too they’re so zippy and cute to me 💁🏽♀️💙
Love the civic and type r, good lines for Honda
the sound of that hood closing like a thin can
Did anyone notice the Kakashi sticker on the window lol
i have a 2016 and love it tbh, really nice car and very overhated
I have this exact same car in the same color too, crazy car, aggressive look, a lot of room on the inside, and a lot of space in the luggage
The only thing you can say about this version (126hp) is that you know a better version (186hp) exist with same space ecc so you would prefere that one but there's a difference of 5k cash and it was a big of a deal for a person like me who has not a lot of money
Another thing is that the type r spoiler looks so good on this car so you can think of just adding that on.
I love this car it has everything I need and i am so happy to have this one as my very first car
I have a 2002 Honda Civic with 193,949 thousand miles
Still running with no problems!
Thank you, Scotty, for your wise advice on which vehicles are the best.
just bought a 2018 civic with 47k miles and loving it.
I love my 2018 civic hatchback sport (6 speed manual 😊)
Im 6’7 and fit very comfortably in my 2018 civic hatchback but when i test drove a 2021 corolla hatchback i was so squished
I love the way the civics and Corollas look now, much more aggressive angles make them feel faster than they are
New civics are boring and plain. The 10th gen here is unique and special. Not because i own a 2021 type r.
Agree. I won't swap my 10th gen for a new one.
My girl had a Civic. I had an Accord Sport at the same time. I always traded as it was so fun to drive. I loved it.
The first year they came out, were the only options RED or BLACK?
Seems like I remember that in the TV commercial
My 2013 Civic is my first & only car. I'm still pretty happy with it after all these years. It's in great shape. Definitely not going anywhere for the foreseeable future.
Not sure if the US got the Civic type R
The EP3 model was the best hatchback ever made. Honda made some great cars in the early 2000's but then all the problems they had after they never really recovered.
They failed to develop new engine technology and carried on too long with what they got from the Leyland group.
I love your commentary and sincerely look forward to them
Those are funky looking
They're kinda weird looking on the 24, but the civics still kept their aggressive fronts thank god on that!
Picking up my Honda Civic tomorrow sooo excited such an awesome car! Scotty my mechanic Mark would 100% agree with you back here in the UK
Civics have always been spacious and apart from one or two recent models, quite attractive cars.
2018 Honda Civic. Paid off in February. 89000 miles. Runs like new. Will drive for another 10 years. Thanks Honda
My son just bought a used 2021 TYPE R hot hatch with very low miles. 169 mph top speed. Now I'm praying he doesn't kill himself.
They also went from being a economy car to being pretty expensive
Everything is expensive these days
I really like the camera on the right blind spot which I think it’s better than those expensive cars.
The pvssy deterrent on the window lol (owner is anime geek)
Toyota & Honda❤

Same Civic that I have except mine is a 2020 with no turbo and a port injected 2.0L engine. I love the Civics, and this is my fourth.
Why was there no headrest on the front seat lol
I find it hilarious how small the older gens are, like the EG & Integra, in comparison to my 10th gen Si

Dude as a mechanic a civic is literally one of the best cars you can get. Even the new ones are ok even new cars are junk. I personally love and would recommend the 7th and 8th gen to anyone who asks cause I’m gonna be honest; 35 miles a gallon combined is really nice on an 8th gen

Idk they don't look as good these days. They had a glow down and it's a bummer.
Poor hood was thrown like a garbage can
I have a 2006 Honda Civic with 174,000 and its just getting started!
Had a 2001 manual accord, had almost 200,000k on it had been passed around from tech to tech as a beater/ daily driver. Loved most its life in the northeast and an aftermarket intake. Besides some rust here and there man when that car rev’d out that vtec was still very clean feeling and noticeably fast. And nothing beats that induction vtec noise. Only thing anyone would do to it was change oil, plugs, tires and brakes. Unfortunately when I had it the clutch stuck to the floor in traffic and slave went out but other than that, and being a cheap carefree car it was to this day one of my favorites and most reliable cars. And is still going all on factory clutch which still feels amazing somehow lol. Honda definitely makes some great cars with bulletproof motors. Now they’re still reliable cars but passports and pilots can have some major electrical issues and it’s the body harnesses and faulty airbags etc. but damn are they one of very few companies that have gotten better and better over the years and haven’t fallen.
Scotty, what do you think of them 90's civics?!
I think the 1980's models of Civic and Corolla were some of the best looking little Rice Burners out there.
I have a '19 Honda Passport Sport and I love it. It's definitely worth the money! ❤
Are there any brand new cars that are easy to work on for the do it yourselfer
I had a '13 Civic with 130k miles, it was a great ride that drove well even though younger me who didn't know anything about cars treated it like crap. Drove short distances only, stretched oil changes/maintenance over 10k miles.
I have a 2019 Honda Civic Sport I absolutely love it.
they aren’t ugly!! such a good looking car
Scotty, how many car wrecks have you been in and what would you do differently to avoid any of them? Thanks.
Shiid my 2019 civic has a busted turbo charger for over a year and it still ran got it replaced when the engine got flooded the repair tech threw it in the insurance claim for me now everything works 😅
Unpopular opinion, most cars made after 2010 are ugly. I cant stand the way new cats look
Moving on from my Cuze lt 2016 looking to get a toyota camry or a mazda v6 or another 4 banger .
I keep my keys in the same spot and same way you do... Lol...👍👍👍👍
