As a kid who grew up on this game I was like 'OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD!" The entire time, then I just got silent and crapped my pants with that maneuver at 2:37.
Man I played a lot of this game back as a kid, and that maneuver is just... Perfect... He had to calculate the backwards path and then the timing for the turbo to gain thrust for the jump ahead... That was nice as hell to watch! At 03:18 there's more awesome stuff!
This was amazing to watch! I loved the original F-Zero, complete with its futuristic tech-dance soundtrack. Has anyone released any full mods for the ROM for tracks like this? Imagine if a track like this was in the official game!
That's a pretty sweet track design. Hard, yes (especially considering my skills at the original F-Zero), but the curves are well-made, and the layout is awesome. Man, you should've been hired to do some of the 2D F-Zero track designs. (Alas, it appears at this point we may never get a new game.)
Fun fact: If you get too far ahead of the CPU, the CPU will teleport to a spot on the track where they're close to you. They blatantly cheat. Heck, the CPU has managed to find a way to cheat in every F-Zero game.

The intensity, the way you just ace the track like nothing using every nook and cranny to throw you in the direction you need to go. How many years have you been playing this?
Tbh after seeing how successful Mario Maker is and we're kinda getting a Zelda Maker with Switch's Link's Awaken having you able to make your own dungeon. I would love if Nintendo finally make a F-Zero game where you could create your own track but this time not just Japan only but also worldwide as well.
Kids these days complaining about the rubber band AI in Mario Kart Wii and the likes. These crumb-snatchers don't know rubber-banding like we knew it. This right here is some legendary stuff. A blue turtle shell aint got nothing on this.
