I'm a US driver and I went to Ireland for a month. I drove ALL over the country and only made one terrible error (it was in the first few days) and it was embarrassing. I always had to think about what I was doing and probably had my tongue hanging out half the time trying to pay attention to what I was doing. I don't think you could have shoved a greased BB up my ass the whole time I was driving there. 😁😄
ya would not be alone than im shure most americans who are first time driving in euro would be the same tight assed.

Normally I don't care much for commentary on such videos but I love yours. I wish it would happen more when I am driving around because I rarely see it but when it does happen, I love to see the cops catching someone caught in the act of doing something crazy.

Love your vids, but i must say that there is no grey area when it comes to the double yellow...
In some U.S. states you can pass on double yellow if the vehicle you are passing is going half the speed limit or slower, you have a clear view and can pass safely, and you do not exceed the speed limit. In Ohio, this makes it legal to pass slow moving tractors and Amish buggies.
In Maine, it just prescribes liability. You can legally pass on a double yellow, but if it results in a wreck, you are at fault.

2:09 It looks like the person was in the left turn lane but wanted to go straight, then the honking confused them so they just went on the red.

7:07 - If you look really closely, it's a hilltop with a right turn. The visibility isn't great. Most states (should be ALL) only do the double yellows when there is an obvious safety risk. The edit on the clip kinda tricks the eye.

The lady honking at the driver who didn’t pay attention to the left turn light, and kept honking at the other driver even after the light turned red, and kept riding up on their rear end id the blame for that driver going through a red light. I’d bet money the other drive probably wasn’t from around there and though they must be missing something, and went through the light because the person behind them kept honking and pulling forward. What was the point in the continued honking after the light had changed? To be rude? Then to act like the other driver was an idiot for going through the red light?
People are just weird sometimes, that is for sure.

Crossing a double yellow is not "grey area."
You didn`t understand what i wanted to say. I meant in certain circumstances it is okay to overtake, not everytime.
I will give you an example: if you are behind someone who is driving 15mph in a 55 zone and you are on a straight and open road with double solid lines of course you are gonna overtake if its safe to do so regardless if it's illegal or not.

I love the videos but I hate the commentary its so uncessary. I understand that alot of people are inept and can't figure simple things out simple by using their brain. Thankfully I'm not one of those inept people and can figure things out by using my brain so I just turn the sound off.
