10:45 I had a jackass doing this to me once in Columbia, MD. He kept hopping into whatever lane I got into, so I decided to have some fun and pretend I was exiting. I got in the exit lane, he got in the exit lane. I then hopped out of the exit lane back onto the highway at the last moment, and away he went. But the funny thing is it wasn't just any exit. You've got one choice after exiting to get off that road, or you're forced straight into the front gate of the NSA (it's not well marked), and have to explain to a guard what you're doing there. Seeing as this asshole had out of state tags, I like to believe that he didn't know the roads and made the wrong choice.

I did the same thing, but on a toll road!
I was a lone vehicle in the right lane on an empty interstate at dusk when a speeding pickup truck with two kids caught up to me, flew past on the left, then whipped into the right lane in front of me and slammed on their brakes. The whole incident was unprovoked, so I thought perhaps a cop was in the median up ahead. As we drove for a bit, well under the speed limit, I realized no cop was anywhere on the road so I hopped in the left lane to pass them and carry on about my business. That's when they pulled into the left lane in front of me and slammed on their brakes a second time. I knew at that point these kids were either playing games or trying to commit insurance fraud.
After several miles of switching lanes back and forth to try to avoid them, I noticed a toll road was coming up on the left (left lane exit). So I stayed in the right lane until the last minute before I pulled into the left lane and acted as though I was going to exit the interstate and jump on the toll road. Just as predicted, those little sh*ts whipped into the left lane, cut me off, and slammed on their brakes again. By this point, I slowed down enough to maintain a safe distance behind them as I watched the dotted white line turn solid.
We both remained in the left lane until they reached the point of no return - a concrete jersey barrier preventing them from switching lanes again. Just before I reached the barrier, I slowed down enough to safely pull back into the right lane and continue straight while they were forced to round the bend and head to the toll booths. Distracted by what was up ahead, I don't think they realized that I was no longer behind them until it was too late to react. I laughed and laughed for miles as I continued on my way. I would have loved to be a fly on the wall in their truck when they had to pull out their wallet and pay the toll!

It’s not that you’re driving too slow, it’s that you’re staying in the passing lane passing nobody. You’re supposed to be in the right most lane, it baffles me how many people don’t do this.
Would love to see some footage of these kind of drivers on the German Autobahn :)
And they are in the passing lane with nobody in front of them, but driving right beside a tractor trailer. Blocking all traffic behind them, and I cringe at the thought of if one of the tractor tires blows! Definitely not a place I'd want to be driving if I could help it!
Also see these same people driving when fire truck, police, or ambulance behind them with lights n sirens on, yet they dont move for them! Terrifying that they are allowed to drive!

If you see a car in the fast lane suddenly slow down for no obvious reason and you speed past them you deserve the ticket you get for being an idiot

Best karma I ever saw was a woman blowing a horn at me for stopping short on a two lane right turn. There was a semi in front of me and they always cut half of the right lane off when making the turn from the left right turn lane. She sped around me and drove her Geo Metro under the trailer in the middle of the turn. CRUNCH!
I hit a car one night in Chicago. On purpose. The driver cut me off in a "No Lane Changing Zone." I just wasn't in the mood that night. A couple of days later I was at the main terminal in North Carolina when he called my company's insurance company to file a claim. The insurance company called my Safety Department who let me know that I needed to call. Apparently the insurance people hadn't gotten the paperwork I submitted yet so I explained to the agent what had happened leaving out the part I hit him on purpose. As soon as I said "No Lane Changing Zone" she said he wasn't getting jack. In my Accident Report that's how I wrote it up and drew my diagram. The Trooper who did the report told me to make the other guy Vehicle #1 you draw your diagram when it's not your fault because if it goes to court juries usually place blame on Vehicle #1. Another thing is to take pictures if you're able to. Take pictures especially when it's not your fault. I've been hit and sued twice while legally parked and the cases were dismissed.
Trucks should always use the outside lane when there are more than one turning lanes to prevent that from happening good on you for paying attention I'm a driver and have accidentally ended up on the inside lane people who give us space especially when we mess up are a God send

I seen the same situation happen to the car in front of me where someone completely cuts them off where they almost took there front bumper off. Then the guy that cut the one in front of me came out screaming and yelling and with a bat in his hand. The guy in front of me was a concealed weapons carrier and pulled out a gun and the guy with the bat who started it all went running like a little bitch back to his car.
I don't mind talking about it. You see up here in Toronto and area we have the most road ragers anywhere. It made me mad watching this since the same thing happened to me. I just took down the license plate and reported to the cops. Believe me NotToday, it's not fun driving in Ontario. Too many crazy fux on the roads. Some with illegal guns too.

not sure if you are smart enough to understand this. BUT... the left lane is just a lane, unless its designated as slower traffic keep right all lanes are just lanes there is no such thing a passing lane.

Once, I was driving with my friend and a car was tailgating us for around 8 miles, quite closely, on a two way two lane country road. We pulled into town and they zoomed past us in a 35MPH zone. Just as we pulled off for my friend to drop me off home, we saw a police officer suddenly pull out of the shadows and pull the car over. I don't usually find other people's bad decisions to be very amusing, but I laughed at that one.
Every time I watch one of these videos, I keep saying to myself that I need to install a camera to protect myself.. I haven't gotten one yet.

I laughed at the red truck as well. In watching all the videos like this I never understand why people continue to follow people like that. They had multiple opportunities to turn left or right to get away from them. It's too easy to make your way around and still get where you're going without having someone like that threatening you.

There are no fast lanes. It's not a rule. There are slow lanes for buses and semis on some highways. All other lines are equal

Wisdom from a professional driver on the road rage instances. Act like your going straight, then make a left turn at a signal or get behind someone that is making a left hand turn at a signal, especially after the idiot has passed them.
It may make your route a little longer, but you are out of that situation and can also report them to the police for reckless driving too. Plus u have just passed the off even more

One time I was on phone to police following a drunk driver and they almost hit another car. The car that almost got hit changed lanes cutting me off in the process then raced off at lights moved in front and brake checked him.
That's what I thought when seeing that clip, too. Sometimes it could also help to just allow another car to merge in front of you. In my experience people tend to calm down when they don'T see you in their mirrors anymore.

The absolute worst are the ones that decide to saddle up alongside two lanes worth of tractor trailers, and then match them at speed for the next 20 minutes while a mile of cars pile up in the lanes behind them, unable to overtake. It’s equal parts ignorance and sanctimony, depending on who you come across.

The sticker doesn't mean anything.
Also to be fair, after you’ve been driving for a while you learn that while yes the base speed limit is implied through signage, almost of the time the speed limit is set through traffic. I have a road near me that’s 30 but everyone goes 40-45 including cops because that just feels safer and smoother than 30 .
Sometimes going the speed limit can actually be a danger to those around you as you are the odd one out.
It’s very dependent on the area and types of drivers. Also the sticker doesn’t mean anything. I know plenty of people who have had them on their cars for 10+ years cuz they have kids.
Sticker means zilch. In fact, it probably gives people the idea to avoid you or antagonize you and make your day harder. Take the sticker off, it doesn’t help at all really. Everybody on the road drives like they have no idea what they’re doing, at some point, so the sticker doesn’t give much warning. It’s like the baby on board stickers, doesn’t mean anything except you have an extra passenger that would be killed in a car accident. I don’t care about your sticker, I won’t drive more cautiously around you than I already do, I’m not giving you special attention. You’re just another vehicle on the road and your stickers have no merit.

Not quite sure why they’re laughing at the guy who had to crawl into his truck, he was the one parked properly.
I suspect he parked in the place where the dumpster is usually placed. Looking at how tight the other vehicles were parked, he must have ticked off some people.
My guess is that this is a prank done at this workplace. Perhaps the guy is either the new guy or a major jerk that pisses everyone off and they decided to "teach him a lesson" on humility perhaps. I don't believe this is a case of him having "parked where the dumpster is usually placed" issues. They are supposed to be marked off and put somewhere of easy access to the garbage trucks rather in the middle of a parking lot with cars on either side that could easily get damaged just by being so close to a dumpster.
You’re not supposed to block dumpsters and the way the dumpster is turned the guy is blocking it.

If you wanted to be a azzhole you can keep driving till they get a marked car to join. Then claim you didn't know it was a cop since it wasn't marked. Then fight the ticket in court making them reschedule it. That makes the cop come to court then pay the ticket so he loses 12 hours on his next pay check. It's extremely petty but people do it.

@@minakoxo i live near there and I'm a slow driver, I never use the middle lane unless I'm going at least 70 and passing the cars to my right. I have seen a lot of cars drive to slow in the middle lane and it is very dangerous

I have only about 10 miles from and to my workplace and I rarely drive this short trip without seeing an driver's error or some harassment.

You're lucky if all they do is keep going. Usually they brake check (or other aggressive behavior) you for daring to honk at them, at least in these videos. It's like (in the U.S., anyway) using your horn is a criminal act.
I was in New Orleans once on a 4 lane street and a woman passed me right when a light in front of us turned red. I had 2 or 3 cars ahead of me but there wasn't anyone in front of her so she was going to run the red light but traffic was already moving and she had to back up. In the meantime traffic was building up behind her and I both. All during the duration of the red light she was throwing a tantrum, slinging things all around in her car. She was pissed. When the light turned green she floored it---and SLAMMED into a cop car behind her. During her fit, she forgot to take her car outta reverse. I laughed so hard I thought I was going to have to pull over.

9:22 I've seen this one before. Who knows what started it. But jumping out the car, (red truck), in the middle of a busy road, stopping traffic to say your mind to the driver behind? Makes everyone frustrated. I would have kept him engaged in conversation just enough longer so the drifting truck would give room to get by it. It was moving slow enough he would be able to stop it before it crossed to the opposite lanes.
I saw one where the cammer car went around the ragged and folded the guys door backwards then just drove off laughing.

I would have made a last second, no indication, turn onto another street and taken off switchbacking through the blocks (turn left go a couple blocks, turn right go a couple blocks, do that a few times and you've lost them)

5:50 technically this guy didn't do anything wrong besides the speeding. that road at passing lines down the middle which means he could pass and go into the oncoming lane as long as there are no cars coming but it's just bad luck that he got caught.

I generally feel the same way, but now the alleged preferred method is the "zipper" method where they line up in both lanes and every other one gets in. Of course that only works when the road isn't filled with idiots who can't grasp the concept of "every other" and try to crowd in two or three at a time or someone won't let the next one in.
I don't think any of it will ever work smoothly, but I get a kick out of it when semi's get next to each other and block the closing lane from being used.

When I see a lane closure a block ahead and move over way before the closure, once I get up to where the closure is, I'm not about to let anyone in at that point.
They had the same view and the same opportunity to move over in plenty of time, but they try to zip ahead and then cut over.
Makes me wonder if they cut in line at the grocery store.
Doubtful. That involves eye contact, cutting in traffic is impersonal. No human interaction required.

First thing you see when a sign says "right lane closed ahead"... all the cars diving for the RIGHT lane to try to get ahead and force their way over. Then traffic winds up backed up for miles. And that is why and when the trucks start the rolling road blocks. Been a part of many rollers.

@@rachele7398 by law it is an “overtake/passing lane.” Unwritten rule of drivers though is that it is a fast lane. You are supposed to use it just to pass and then move back over though.

@@rachele7398 by law there is no "fast lane" (unless posted express lane). The left lane is supposed to be for passing only. This goes double for semis because normally we're slower then 4 wheel vehicles.
I don't blame you for being confused. My dad was a cop and I had no idea the left lane wasn't the "fast lane" until I started driving professionally lmao. In my state they actually started pulling over people driving the left lane to inform them of that fact. Not giving tickets, just letting them know.

Yes, in most states in the U.S. there's no law that says drivers must only pass on the left. I lived in Germany for a few years and I liked that law. Here, it's more of a guideline.
In the US, the laws of most states state that drivers are to move their asses over, FROM THE FAR LEFT LANE, if they are NOT passing.

It’s legal for motorcycles to lane split. It’s dangerous for cars to try to pass motorcycles. Not all bikers are crap but some ride dangerously. This one however was in his lane so the car was in the wrong AND he was driving while on the phone which is illegal.

It was such a truck that thankfully witnessed a drunk driver violently crashing into my mom last year around this time in December. The guy even had the space to go around her, she said, and flat out gunned it into her. She was too shocked to move but she did see the officer catch her eye in the pickup truck and give chase. The asshole crashed at the entrance to her apartment complex, about two miles down. Thankfully, insurance covered the car and she wasn't hurt too horribly, though they covered a few visits for physical therapy just in case. And this wasn't even at night, it was the middle of the afternoon.
They have them around where I live, Ford F150's. Had one next to me last week, had no idea it was a cop until he lit up the dude running a red light.

2:18 I'm not really sure what the "karma" here is. The Highlander let in the car trying to merge, then incorrectly assumed that the right lane(s) was (were) open. When he realized it wasn't, he calmly got back behind the the car he let merge. A miscalculation, obviously, but I don't know that I'd classify that as "karma".
Just my two cents...
I agree, no karma nor any bad driving, just a really wide open cone area for right turns while the lane is still closed up ahead would have confused anyone.

I used to travel quite a bit in areas in which I was not familiar. I would just follow along with the locals, believing that they know something I don't.
I tell my parents all the time that eventually they will get caught and pulled over for not using their blinker. I use mine no matter what, even on empty roads, cause with my luck a cop will be hidden and they’ll get me.
Same here, I always use mine! I hate it when drivers don't use their blinker, it drives me nuts!
