I doubt that isn't native to the original game, as remasters - unlike remakes - are purely graphical in that they mainly consist of upgrades to textures and shading, rather than gameplay mechanics.

The crack every time I landed a critical strike or used a special combo takedown was so satisfying. The Arkham Games really made you feel like you are Batman

The Batman Arkham Series is to me one of my favorite Post-PS2 games, solely because of how much I loved the world of Gotham in each game being beautifully built upon with each new title.
I also just loved exercising Batman's non-lethal agenda in the games, *all whilst I watched him mercilessly destroy every bad guy's bones & leave them literal cripples for the rest of their lives.*
Can't wait for Kill The Justice League to take us back to such prime gaming. 😂❤

5:04, This might be the most “Joker” thing about this iteration of the character. Even the player clearing out rooms full of his own goons is entertainment for him (as long as it doesn’t interfere with his larger plans) because in the end the end, everyone here is still trapped in his game.

It's great to see someone else play these Games. I grew up with Asylum and Later played City and Knight. I now Never play on Normal as Hard has made me addicted to no Counter Meter above my Enemies. The same with City and Knight. But a Cool thing. That not many possibly have tried. I've found a way to get all of Riddler's Trophies before Finishing the Game. It just takes Precise timing for thing. Also Upgrading a lot. And I know there are those who need the help for the Trophies or Riddles trapped behind everything Poison Ivy did during her time on the Island. What I say. You basically have Free Roam after you beat Poison Ivy. After that. Collect the ones you didn't get before Poison Ivy controlled the Island and Boom. You have the Trophies before you even Finish the Game. And I do it on New Saves each time. I have it Memorized. Someone could very likely do it on their First time if they Look Hard enough for the Riddles and Trophies. For the second go around make sure you look for the ones you didn't get. Or just search up online
I was a child when I first played this and even then I was baffled by the fact one cop was escorting joker to lockup. Was questioning the best ten minutes that this game was gonna happen cause of that.
I love that Arkham Knight just released an update (featuring *The* Batman) like 9 years after launch.
I also love that Mark Hamill, aka Luke Skywalker, voices the Joker in these games.

This series is gonna be legendary!
Most people will tell you City is the best, but Asylum has to be my favorite. Performances are 10/10. It easily has the most iconic voice work from the Conroy/Hamill duo. It’s the most detailed, despite having the smallest map. It really feels like there’s a whole world you’re not getting to see because you’re trapped in the lonely, cold corridors of the Asylum. It DEFINITELY has the best story. Batman in City definitely has more of a “I did it because I’m Batman and I’m perfect” vibe. This one actually makes you feel rewarded for being a good detective, trained combatant, and invisible predator because it’s the most grounded. I don’t know how to describe it, but the gameplay just feels the most realistic. Other games do other things better, but to me, Asylum is a classic example of “less is more.” It just feels like you’re playing out a perfectly written Batman comic.

Killer Croc is my all time favorite DC character. Hes so misunderstood and got the shit end of the stick for most of his life. He was born with a genetic defect called Avatism (its a real thing but not as extreme as Croc's condition) that made his skin look like scales and everyone bullied him for it. He wasnt born a monster. He was made into one.
His design in Arkham Origins is the best look of the character bar none.
I think my personal favorite has to be penguin,hes just as misunderstood as killer croc.one of the only batman villains that is still capable of humanity and redemption.also his design and backstory in batman returns is just goated.
