I used them as a bed table when I was younger. I didn't need to but I love getting creative. I owned one normal coffee table once for a short while in my life. It is fun to see what I can find to use as one.
My matress has been on 2 rows of milk crates for a while now. not only does it give me the bonus storage, its also got a smaller footprint than most bedframes, and every amount helps in my very small apartment 😅 good ideas here
I love em. I put heavy cardboard with peel n stick tile on one side of cardboard (cut too fit) it keeps stufff from falling out bottom, and if something leaks a little it wipes up easy.
Love these. Walmart has them on sale once in a while for around $5. I like to use them in the back of the van for groceries & to keep stuff from sliding around. Also good to organize stuff in the Garage.
I use the small ones (maybe 12" cubed) to store DVD,s & CD's which I am slowly sorting & giving to goodwill. I am sure I will be able to use them for something else.
Okay you showed making furniture out of them which is a clever idea but I was thinking you could even make like a headboard out of those also, that would be kind of cool to keep books on and such and maybe a lamp.
Stephanie Thomas As someone who works in the dairy industry, and knows the laws concerning milk crates.... Milk crates are very expensive for dairy companies to make. Any of them, even damaged ones are recycled. It is also against the law to have them and use them for anything other then their intended purpose which is to transport dairy products. That is why there is a warning on the milk crates that say "Warning use by other than registered owner punishable by law." You also can look up the laws concerning milk crates. Any business that gives them away to the public is also breaking the law and the people that have them in their possession are in possession of private property that is not theirs, which is also illegal. People that do these types of things are what causes the cost of milk and other dairy products to continually rise. Just FYI.
@@Angela-rp9zg I mean don't know how much you pay for milk where you are, but if the added cost is free cartons, then sure, we pay a lot more for a lot less value. The company that delivered milk where I worked would never pick them back up and they'd stay in our store room until they got tossed and I imagine that's may be the case at Kroger's as well, so basically they're going to get tossed in the dumpster Don't blame the stores and the consumers who are basically recycling them, blame the workers who are either lazy, uninformed by the company, or don't get paid enough to give a crap.
Better use 9 or 12, even 15, your flat sheet will bend much less, 5 is not enough... speaking from experience edit: but if you gotta go with minimal number, then 6

Some restaurants just throw those things away in their dumpsters. You should get to know the person that throws out the trash or take up dumpster fishing.

For all who have chickens, this is the best idea for a coop! They love it and lay more eggs. It's also easier to clean.

Attach both handles to the crate
How to operate it
Leen forward to speed up and go backwards to slow down
If you wanna increase hight then put up on it more to create more lift
How it works
As you pull on it the cables want to retract back to the original state and there for create lift
If you leen forward a little the cables will turn forward causing a forward motion, that also gos for turning or slowing down
I recommend you exercise so you can lift your own wight, if your able to then that's good news
You should make a video showing how to build that hover crate
Holds rv propane tanks nicely for transporting in bed of truck for refilling...
