Angeles City Philippines
About me : Retired American Expat Brian & Filipina wife Luisa, living in the Angeles City / Clark Pampanga Philippines.
Sorry to hear about this happening to your wife. Glad she wasn’t physically harmed.
I'm so sorry for Louisa, that's horrible. I completely understand your anger and frustration, Brian. I love you guys. It pains me from afar.
Me too
Damn I’m sorry bro😌
Makes you feel like you wish you could have been in the right place at the right time when this kind of bs happens
I am so sorry Lute, I hate thieves too. I wish I could be there also at the right time.
Wow, so sorry Louisa this happened to you. People are saying that Myk's Philippine Journey might have outsourced this job done on you due to the humiliation Brian put him through in the live. Myk has been in the Philippines for almost a month now and for the first time ever he is quiet, not making any videos. I fear for Jessie, Zia, and your husband's life, Louisa. Michael is a very vindictive person. He is worse than us women. Take care.
I'm sorry to hear this, Brain. I'm glad your wife is physically safe.
Thanks for your Candor!!
Need to tell the girls not to walk around on the streets on their phones. Gotta keep them safe. Samantha now needs to understand why Louisa gets upset when she comes home late. This world is messed up. Much love and respect to you all. God bless.
What a frustrating and helpless situation. I was living down the road from you guys in San Fernando last year Nov until May this year, and it was my first time in the Philippines. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, & kind, so this saddens me for you both. Godspeed to you guys and I hope, by some miracle, you realize justice.
My wife and I have had our condo in San Fernando for almost 2 years now and I absolutely love it here.
I had a problem similar to that in AC. I went to the police and with limited info they caught the perpetrator. They told me they know the people who do these crimes. Give them what you have, what could it hurt. I pray for Lut and hope she can get pass this fear. I, as a husband of a Philippina would feel the same as you. In the end God will deal with them. Thank God she was not hurt. Keep her close for a while. God bless.
A 15 years old girl got stabbed and died in South London yesterday. The victim is a 17yo boy. Madness. I stayed in AC for a week, my mate got pickpocketed next to me by a little boy in the park in the afternoon. Its too much there.
I am so glad she wasn't hurt physically Brian. Can't stand people who take from others instead of working for things. I understand your anger Brian. You guys take care.
I'm so sorry to hear about your wife being robbed. I'm glad she wasn't injured. Hopefully these dirtbags will be caught and held accountable.
Fat chance I'd give it one in a million that they are caught let alone be held accountable.
There is no accountability here, they elected a criminal for president.
Not going to happen
Oh no Brian !!! Luisa … I’m so sorry oh my goodness!! So terrible 😢. This makes me ANGRY 😡 and sad 😔!!!
I totally understand your anger it’s your wife !!! You have every right !!!
I have never seen you this pissed . I agree 1000 percent!!!!!
🙇🏽♂️ Well, things in Philadelphia are not much better.... Looting in Center City again....
Things are much worse in Philadelphia than in Philippines when it comes to that. And also a drug use. Yeah those looters just stole probably hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of fancy stuff within minutes. And most of them got away with it. But that’s just another night in a big city in America lately…
Poor Lot. 😔 Shit like that happens when we aren’t around, little punks. I’d like to break the guys if I got my hands on them. Thank god you’re ok Louisa.
I’m glad she wasn’t injured. That happened to me where I lived in Oakland, California. Theft there has basically been legalized there. I feel much safer in the Philippines.
Why are you silly enough to live, work or visit Oakland. That city is filled with ghetto people, criminals, drug addicts, alcoholics, single moms who rob, steal and want to defund the police
So far I’m finding it safer than NY. Residual of Duterte. Worried about a spike from inflation.
Obviously we aren’t
righteous anger is understood and warranted.
God Bless CO and the wifey. Thanks for your service and be safe.
As bad as it is there it's far worse in America. I don't leave my house without a gun. I lived in Angeles 25 years with little to no trouble and now my health keeps me in the US. Hopefully, your wife will be ok. Crime is rampant everywhere, I'll pray for her and you too Brian!
Depends on the areas but Philippines has it far worst for poverty so these things happen lots. Carrying a gun wouldn't help in this scenario anyway it happened in a matter of seconds. My friend got his phone stolen in Vietnam too from a scooter. These people can easily take one's phone with their back turned and drive off. In US scooters aren't nearly as common.😮
Far worse in America? You must've only lived in liberal controlled states.
The bigger problem is who buys the phone, they finance the shit. Glad Lut is ok…we had a close call on Colon street in Cebu a few years back. I caught on to him before he went for it.
@seashells-and-seashores I recognized his intentions and made it very clear that he was about to make a very serious mistake.
Sorry to hear about this, and glad that Louisa is okay. My wife says the same thing, if crime happens, you can report it, but absolutely NOTHING gets done. The police there don't do ANY investigative work. They'll just file it away. She was surprised that police will actually do investigative work here in the US. She says that does not happen in the Philippines, unless you have money and even then you need to hire a private detective. I feel your anger Brian! People like the two thieves are scum of the earth.
So sorry to hear about what happened.
I feel you my friend. I'd be pissed too. Don't FN traumatize my woman!!.
I was mugged by a man & woman team as I crossed the street to get a bite at a Jollibees in Cebu about 10:30pm, and got a small cut to my outer hand close to an artery from his box cutter style razor. The routine is to use the box cutter to cut your pocket for your wallet without you knowing, but if you catch them and resist, they slash your butt, or leg, or more rarely a person's face, so now you have to stop your bleeding and thus cannot give chase as they run to their waiting accomplice on the getaway motorcycle (he will be the one with a gun if needed). There were actually a lot of people about, including the security guard in front of Jollibees who witnessed it. The muggers ran away so fast that I could not hope to keep up, at age 67, if I tried. They both hopped on the back of a waiting motorcycle and sped away into the darkness. For those not familiar, the accomplice on the getaway motorcycle will be the one with the gun if it is needed; this way if cops should happen to catch the muggers in the act they won't have the gun on their person, so they avoid serious extra charges this way, yet its nearby if needed. Always consider the PLUS ONE RULE, that there is 1 more involved than readily meets the eye. Anyway, they knew which of my zippered pockets on my fanny pack held my cash, so the only way they would know that is if they seen me pay my 3 beer tab at the All Star Sports Bar just before heading to Jollibees; the staff at the bar wanted to escort me to the street to a cab or Grab car, for my safety, but I declined so I could cross the street for a bite. The staff was worried, and said, "Oh, I hope you will be okay!". Afterward, the security guard says it happens a lot. He said if drunk enough, the street kids will lift the victims phone, wallet, watch, everything. So Cebu is almost as bad as Manila. I stay away except for shopping. Even my hero, former Pres. Duterte made a personal visit to Cebu to work with officials on a plan to clean up crime, but no improvement could be had due, officially, to corrupt police who inform to the gangs on what's going down. Nowadays, I keep my cash in 3 locations on me. I never let anybody see where I pull cash from. I buy a cheap phone and never have it in view in public. The billfold that's obvious in my rear pocket is a throwaway with kids play money and fake cards. I walk facing traffic. I don't imbibe beer anymore when out. I carry pepper spray, the good stuff that makes a cloud of vapor; its breathing it that incapacitates with uncontrollable coughing, I know because I tried it myself. There's more, but that's the highlights. Cebu is bad in the day, and worse at night. However, I enjoy no problems at my favorite dive resort town of Moalboal; I have never seen a cop out and about there, so apparently, they work undercover in plain clothes. Whatever they do, it works. It seems the small towns totally dependent on divers or tourism have figured out how to keep tourists safe, based on what I hear from others. Peace be with you.
I'm sorry that they traumatized Luisa like that. Unfortunately scumbags are everywhere. I had a gun stuck in my chest right here in the US. It's something that some people never get over so my thoughts are with Luisa and her well being right now. I hope they get caught!😢🤗
Brian your so right. Iam glad Luisa is ok. I would be mad too. God bless.
Man I feel your anger! The fact that two of them had to roll up on her like that. I have been stabbed and the recovery was brutal! Well I am glad she’s ok and hopefully it doesn’t happen again!
Sir, similar thing happened to my ex-wife when we stationed in Panama. The difficult part for me was not being able to do anything other than comfort her.
I hope Lott recovers soon. That is an experience that will take time. Here in California, if it's under $950.00.... it's a gift to the the thief...
They should arrest everyone who covers their faces up even on job sites
Brian, I completely agree with your take on POS thieves. I have to go to work everyday whether I want to or not to then have the ability to buy the things I want and like and of course sometimes need. The fact some junkie loser can come and take it all without having put any effort into getting it makes me as angry as you and I wish their were far more serious consequences for their actions. Best wishes for your family!
IF THE THIEVES ARENT CAUGHT, THE ULTIMATE MESSAGE IS-- "YOU ARE NOT SAFE LIVING IN PAMPANGA EVEN IN YOUR OWN HOME"
Hello Brian. I'm so sorry this happened to your wife. I know how it feels because I was robbed at gun point. The theif took my phone and wallet which contained over $60 in cash. I'm glad lot wasn't hurt and I hope the thieves get caught. I wish you both all the best.
@seashells-and-seashores USA
I’m so sorry to hear that this happened. Screw these f***ing savages. I would be equally pissed. You can see the stress on her face.
So sorry, Brian. Your wife is such a sweetheart in person. I’d be fit to be tied too.
Great video on the dangers of high unemployment and crime in the philippines.
I am so sorry to hear about the terrible attack on Luisa and I agree that there are pieces of CRAP all around this world. So thankful that the theft didn't involve a more serious outcome in that she wasn't hurt physically, but the mental pain is going to have an effect long after time passes. Am so glad that Luisa wasn't harmed physically!
Thanks for your kind words
Sorry to hear this 😢 its so upsetting and your 💯% correct with everything you say in this video i feel for you guys. It's the emotional damage as you was saying the property stolen can be replaced but poor Luisa has that experience in her mind now and that upsetting and terrifying feeling carried around with her everytime she leaves the house now. So sad 😞 🥺
Sorry to hear about this and glad that Luisa is ok. I know what you are going through. On my second trip to the Philippines I had my wallet stolen by a pick pocket. I went to a policeman that was outside my hotel and he took me to their office to fill out a report. I had to list everything that was in my wallet. Nothing came of this and I did not expect to get any results. So I was stuck here with nothing. I had to call my family to send me some money so I could pay for my hotel and buy food. I had to call my bank and get them to send me a credit card and that took 4 days to get. It is very sad that people steal from others cause they don't want to work. Everyone asks how my time in the Philippines have been and I tell them in my first 3 trips and since moving here have been great except for having my wallet stolen. Everyone here said how bad so people are here and they don't understand how Filipino's can steal from other Filipino's. I have heard so many stories from Filipino's how they have been robbed by other Filipino's even when they are riding in a jeepney. Most people work hard for what they have just to have some lazy person steal from you. Thieves will steal year round not just the Ber months they don't care even if they get caught they will still do it. Perhaps if when they get caught they should have their hands cut off. When I went back to Canada and told people there what happened they said so guess you won't go back to the Philippines. I just said why I could get my wallet stolen walking in my own city. Crime is not exclusive to the Philippines.
Absolutely. Some places are worst.
Sorry.. That's why I don't let my wife out of my sight. The Philippines is one of the least gun restrictive countries in Asia. Get armed.
I'm praying that she will recover from the horrific crime. ✝️
We have experienced this situation on Cebu Island, Philippines 🇵🇭 years ago they had weapons that spit out lead. ☠️
Are you guys not allowed to carry a firearm in the Philippines? I know some of my wife’s relatives own some significant firearms at home there, but I’m not sure what the carry laws are.
No, foreigners are not allowed firearms. Luisa could though
@@ZXLNTOh my wife will carry when we go there then. I made sure she’s trained well.
I feel your anger bruh. Some POS here in Oxon Hill, MD just robbed a woman of her dog at gun point. It's really getting bad all over. It's time for the people to take back the streets.
I’m from rockville md here yes it’s that bad all over. I’m in ph right now i keep my head on a swivel. I’m glad she is ok!
On my first trip and first day in the US, I was held up by 4 white teenagers in LA who took a hundred dollars from me outside the door of a restaurant in front of several witnesses who just stared at me blankly. Inside a Berkeley Bart station, a group of young teens snatched my bicycle in broad daylight. In urine-smelling New York, a black guy with a blade between his lips embraced me out of nowhere and tried to slash my face. This all happened within a month's vacation. It seems hideous crime and mental disorder are part of American culture alongside the hallucinatory sense of unmatched entitlement and superiority learned from childhood and loud curse-laden mouths spewing derogatory monologues in ear-piercing decibels.
Sending a big hug to your wife Brian, terrible thing to happen, i understand your anger. sending love to you all.
DONT LET YOUR WIFE WALK ALONE. sorry it happen,
Bummer! Sorry to hear about this. I hope she recovers soon. I share your wrath Brian.
thank you Brian
No worries!
Hi Brian I just got to Angeles and it’s the last thing that I needed to hear.. this world is going crazy… I’m sorry to hear that… at least she’s okay 😢
OMG! I feel so bad for Lot'! I have tears in my eyes looking at her and feeling helpless seeing her cry! Like you the anger inside me makes me want to be a vigilante and break some legs and backs! I am so sorry this happened to her again. Huhuhuhuhu
I feel your anger my friend. Thank God your wife is okay.
which god should be thanked ?
@@HemiChrysler 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I'm sorry for what she went through. I hope that she gets over this.
All I can say is the way your reacting is not helping your wife you’re just adding to the whole ordeal and stressing her out even more,no offense just my opinion….
I FEAR Myk is behind this job. I fear for Jessie, Zia, and Brian's life. If you don't believe Myk is capable of doing this, go watch the video he made about John, Calvin's friend, who passed on during the pandemic. Myk is very vindictive. He has been in the Philippines for almost a month now and hasn't made any videos for the first time ever and who knows the reason why. Be careful guys. Myk is not right in the head. He wanted to report Jessie to the NBI because of old things he did in the USA when the NBI cares nothing about that. That's who he is, a male Wendy Williams.
So sorry this happened to your family. Im glad Luisa is ok. Thank God. Your outrage is very understandable.
I'm so sorry. I hope your wife is okay. All my prayers for your family
Sir so sorry to hear about your wife being robbed and thank God she is ok. hope they catch those assholes .
There are so many crimes in that city. I don’t know why people like living in the “Las Vegas of the Philippines “
I’m so sorry what happened to your wife . I’m so glad Luisa was not seriously hurt. Believe me I know how you feel right now because I’ve been through that, hope the guys get caught.
I'm sorry to hear this. I'm glad she is okay.
Philly, Lots is such a positive, friendly, family oriented person to us that watch her on YT. With y’all’s family around her moving forward hopefully she can heal…. Thoughts positive from All of Us.
My cousin was shot and killed while riding his motorcycle in the southern Philippines, 3 years ago. His killer has yet to be found.
Geez! How terrifying! So glad she is safe. Totally understand your righteous anger.
*God Bless Na Bless Luisa n Philly*
I'm so sorry to hear that kuya, i'm glad Lot didnt get hurt!! I hate them SCUMBAGS!!! Guess what kuya, someone messaged me asking for money and uses Lot's account, but i remember you warned us on FB about her phone being stolen so i knew it wasnt her!! Please be careful out there, these Scumbags are everywhere!
I checked online, pepper spray and stun guns appear to be legal to carry in the Phillipines. Can anyone out there verify if this is true? Will you have a problem bringing pepper spray and a stun gun in your checked luggage upon arriving at Phillipines customs in Manila?
I have carried pepper spray on many occasions when I visit PI. I have carried as many as 10 canisters of spray per visit. I checked with Police Station 4
near walking street. They told me pepper spray was legal to carry and use if attacked.
I was in Bohol a couple of years back . We were visiting my wife's family. And I went out to the front of the house like at 12midnight just to chill . and 3 guys rolled up on me. demanding I give up my watch and goods. As soon as one got close to me I popped him right in the mouth almost knocking him out. The other guys were so shocked I reacted that way . They just got his friend and walked away apologizing. I dont recommend any one to do that. But it was just at the heat of the moment. I also grew up in East L.A around gangs and cholos, So these guys were not going to pump any fear in my heart. I feel you Philly . Stay safe out there... Luisa feels safe around you .. Thats good my friend.. God Bless You guys...
I pray for you and your family 🙏
Damnit brutha I hate that happened to you guys. Like you said, material things can be replaced, but loved ones can’t. Glad she’s safe. Maybe get her a small pepper spray to carry? Stay safe my friend.
Sorry to hear of this, Brian. I'm glad Luisa is safe aside from the traumatic impact.
I am so sorry this happened to your wife and you. Personally I would move. There are safer parts of the Philippines to live in. I feel ya brotha.
best place subdivision with 24/7 guard's patrol. only ppl allowed in to it ppl that lived their and quest have to sign in .
thats have 10 to 15 foot walls with barb wire on top of it.
@@hillbillyintheasia6122 But you will PAY for that added security. Most expats are on a tight budget. And security there means nothing. MAny times security is in on a break in. They notify their criminal friends when the foreigner is away and then they all spilt the goods. Another vlogger , who lives there in a gated community, with security said he found someone in his condo at 4 am in their bedroom and he chased him away. When he complained to security the response was ," These things happen Sir." LOL!!!
I read ex-pro wrestler Jessie Ventura's recounting of when he was a Navy Seal stationed at Subic. He was riding a Jeepney alone at night when about 7 men boarded, and when they were out of town in the boonies where it was dark they all pulled knives and demanded his stuff. I am surprised they would threaten a man that size with big muscles and all. He realized the danger, and wisdom of just handing it over, but he did not want to endure the ribbing from other Seals if he gave up his official Seal ring. So he bailed out over the side as the Jeepney was at speed. End of story.
I used to drive an armored car hauling money in the 1980s. It’s true about the bur months. Carrying a satchel full of money through a shopping mall in the months leading up to Christmas was always the hardest for me. For me, it was safer to quit, go back into the military and finish out my twenty.
I hope Lott can somehow recover from the trauma of the incident, this is the worst part of the whole robbery. I wish your family the best in recovering from this horrible robbery.
So sorry for Luisa, she looks in shock! There are a lot of bad people out there, not only in the P.I. luckily the good outnumber them. I know that these arse wipes are targetting mobile phones these days on the streets, especially with Christmas coming up.
Thanks Ray
@@PhillyinthePhilippines Its also possible that your PH wife is lying about being robbed so that she can ask more money from you Its the old news of the day & common knowledge that young PH women married to old foreigners are in love with their money only Mr. Philly have fun getting ripped off in PH 😂😂😂😂😂
I love you Brian and your family, so sorry what happened to your beautiful wife 😢. Stay strong brother.
I feel real bad for Luisa, a very decent mature Filipina who is a
real sweetheart that many of us subs have so much respect for.
Glad your wife is safe! Has this kind of crime been happening more often lately? Most foreigners talk about how safe it usually feels in the Philippines. Specially compared to the USA. I guess it feels safe until it doesn’t…
I am glad that UA-cam let you post this video . I am glad also your wife is ok and safe
You might need to read up on how to comfort a woman.
So sad, the world's going to hell. You have the right to be pissed!!!
P.s. My Sister lost her son, my nephew to a armed robery 15 yrs ago. They shot him in the back and stole his money. Our family has experienced horrible pain due to fukin theives!!!
Definitely feel bad for Luisa but I feel for you too, Homey. I'd be nuts if someone did that to my babydoll. She short walks right next door to another condo here in Daytona and constantly tell her to short cut thru the fence break. But, they have shitturds hanging next door because the government makes it near impossible to not rent to, or get rid of the scum. Stay pissed my man and don't feel bad about it.
So sorry to hear this😢 daghan deay buang diha sa angels ron? Be careful
Sending prayers for you and wife.
Philly I'm so glad she wasn't hurt God bless both of you much respect and love from California
Only the Catholics can fuck up all week long then go in on Sunday and say a few hail Mary's and they're good for another week.
Very sorry to hear lot Brian. Im just happy she is okay mate, happy she wasn't harmed.
Sorry to hear this. Thank God she was not hurt. Like you said items can be replaced. Things aren't any better here in New Orleans either. Stay safe.
which god should be thanked ?
Def dont like to drive in N.O
Wow, I am so sorry Luisa and Brian. I will pray for peace and continued protection for you.
Crime is up in The Philippines and it will only get worst. Inflation has caused a huge rise in prices of goods and people who were barely getting by are now worst of than they already were.
Love u lut, keep us informed ,try to rest ,you have my heart ,2nd comment to you guys ,I feel sick inside me for you 💗💜💜💖❣️♥️❤️🧡💚🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Moved to Pattaya in August from Angeles because of pollution and crime. No place is perfect but walk everywhere here with no problems. In Angeles, I could not walk late at night in dark areas and had to beware of kids trying to pickpocket in busy areas. Stay safe Philly!
Pollution in AC is horrible. After 4 days i have a sore throat from the toxic air.
I'd be pissed also. I've dealt with Barangay and it was a waste of time.
With your experience as a CO, you know no one gets caught the first time, these guys have done this before
double check with neighbors and pass on information to authorities
Sorry to hear it but glad to hear her is OK.
Sad the world is getting so bad😢😢😢
I'm so sorry that happened to Lot. Usually the POS people who do that are also drug users. I'm just speechless. I hope they can identify and catch those M Effers. Thank God Lot Lot wasn't harmed physically. Again I'm so sorry to hear that happened to you guys.
Thanks for your kind words
Yes Sir Brian. We will include you guys in our prayers. 😊
I understand your anger, but not your mentality. Sure you're acting the big man on your video, because your whole life is recorded for anyone to see. Do you not realise that irrespective of your feelings towards the thieves, your lifestyle has contributed to their actions. Do you also not realise that your tub thumping is likely to have put you and your family in greater danger. Grow up man, stop acting like a teenage wannabe influencer and take care of your family as you should.
Sorry you guys had to experience that, but I'm glad she's unharmed. Hope the data was backed up and you can remote-erace the data on the stolen device to prevent any sensitive info from being compromised.
Be safe and try not to get anymore worked up about it, Bryan. I understand your frustration but the last thing you want is to get a stroke on top of what you're going through.
Anything can be replaced 🙏
I am glad she's alright. I know how your feeling, My ex-wife got robbed back in 1997 when she went home to Laguna, P.I to visit family on vacation. Took her phone and jewelry in broad day light as she was getting out of a vehicle with one of her family member's. It's the have nots coming for those who worked for the little that they got
So glad Lot is alright, the POS who robbed her need to get caught and suffer the consequences. Stay strong Lot and Brian, keep safe all of you.
Sorry to hear about Lut's experience.
She's the sweetest thing and didn't deserve anything like that!
