    Hats off to the Hingham Harbor Master for getting right in there to assist!!! Boats 99% fun on the water, repairs no matter how old they maybe always something. Two weeks ago my I /O dropped one tooth on the ring gear. Out of the water the boat went, then the engine to replace the ring gear...Engine is 5 years old...Finally talking to my mechanic he tells me 95% of people don't keep up with the maintenance of their boats and when they do come in the engines are so messed up they the mechanics decline to work on the boat. The reason its a can of worms

      I can honestly say this guy took care of his boat through and through. Sometimes parts just fail and there's nothing that can be done about it.

    Great job! Very rewarding helping people in need. I’m looking to do this work when I retire from my business. Been boating for over 50 years and have my mm credentials

      Take the towing endorsement exam and you'll be set. Find your local tower and get in touch.

    Did you know Damien when he owned Bay Pointe? My uncle was the yard manager for nearly 30 years when Damien owned it.

    what size 12v bilge pump do you use? thats good size hose on it..?

    • @wickedsailorboston

      We use a variety of brands but make sure the exhaust hose connection is 1.5 or 2 inches. Pool vacuum hose is rigid and flexible enough to use in these situations.

    Why not fire up that port motor and see where the leak was? Probably easy to see and maybe a quick repair on the spot.

    • @wickedsailorboston
      @wickedsailorboston  2 місяці тому +3

      In most cases, it's safer to wait until port to assess any damage.
