Here I made a wall mounted shaving cup and brush stand. I made this project from some walnut that I had, and it had a lot of cracks and a good amount of water damage, so I needed to mill it down a bit and cut around some of the major cracks to get pieces that were suitable for the build. The wood also had a lot of sap wood, which I would have liked to eliminate but was unable to in order to get pieces big enough for the build. Since the stand will be mounted in the bathroom, which tends to accumulate a lot of moisture, I used Titebond III for the build. I finished it off with four coats of wipe-on polyurethane.
