What a fantastic interpretation of Polovtsian dances of Borodin!!! I am over themoon and I have been a huge fan of Borodin since was 12; I am now 79! Mr. Noak arranged and plays this beautifully! He is now among my top Pianists. You can not fake this, he is a pure genius!

I am not one to use the word 'perfect' in describing a performance, but Maestro Noack has earned it here.
Maestro Noack's blend of virtuosic accurate technique and flawless musical flow in his transcriptions reminds me of Horowitz or Rubenstein at their best. He is arguably the best pianist of his generation.

I love most Russian classic composers but Borodin held a special place in my heart.
Borodin had a way of making small ensembles sound big. His Piano Quintet sounds almost like a concerto, his first string quartet could be a symphony,
the opening has such a pure "once upon a time" feeling

UA-camが自由に見られるようになり、歌が入ったオーケストラバージョンを色々聞きつつ、もっと心地の良い演奏が無いか探していたところ、この動画に出逢いました。
「ピアノのみの演奏ってどうなのだろう…」と興味本位でクリックし、聴かせて頂いたところ、
