This info is good , I try to propagate my snake plants then it got rotten , Now i know why ,,, ty for info , I need to change also the water every one week ,
i think it depends how big the leaf is .. I have small leaves too and it takes 3 months to see first roots . But in the video i can see the uploader placed an entire leaf. .. that's why i guess roots appeared faster.
i do this as well, but i always make sure i do it in glass, not plastic, it does make a difference and only put enouggh water in to barely cover the end, very little
Hello, did u place them in soil after they grew babies?? If so how long did you wait? (: && also can we place them in soil once they grow roots or is it better to do so once they grow babies??
Only some other plants do this too, a lot a succulents can be propagated from leaves. But most plants are not able to do this so you should do some research for the specific type of plant if you want to try it. Hope this helped :)
Great information on propagating. I got cutting and put them in the water right away, not knowing to let them dry until the next day. When you started propagating the snake plants, did you add anything to the water? Thank you for sharing you video.

Hi there! Make the cut wound dries up first. Air dry for 2 to 5 days before putting it in water or soil. For soil, don't water on the 1st week. Then just give little twice a week on the first month. Don't wet the soil. Just moisten it.
I have a snake plant (around 12 inches tall). At Home Depot, they sell the same of these kind of plant, but they are very tall, around 24 inches long. May I ask whether or not a 24 inches version of it is still considered a snake plant? Thank you for your help!
I didn’t know it’s a snake plant. Is it the same as mother in law’s tongue? I didn’t also know you can propagate it by soaking it in water. Very helpful video

After they start growing shoots I like to plant them in soil to prevent the plantlets from rotting
thanks, but when is the right time to put them in soil ?
It's amazing to know that leaves can produce roots as well. Does it happen to any other plants as well?
Only some other plants do this too, a lot a succulents can be propagated from leaves.

These variety have shoots the same as mother plant.

Hello! When they grow more leaves and roots of their own thats when i will seperate them from their mama leaf.

Do u add any fertilizer in water n is it ok to nly grow in water instead f soil after rooting?
Hello! I havent tried putting fertilizer in water. And yes they can grow in water alone.
Chỉ nước thôi sao em?
They are coming like sponge... No one root

Yes sis. Sansevieria aka snake plant has many other names and one of it is mother in laws tongue.
Is it night owl sans?
hello they are reverse variety.
It was not a success for me. i did the same but all got rotten😩
I had this problem too. Now, I just change the water every single day. I think it helps keep the water clean and prevent rotting.
Louise Flores
Put fresh water every day
My snake plant does not grow
Mine are in water for about 3 months and no shoot only roots
That's okay as long nothing is rotting. Some cutting takes longer time than others. Just continue to change the water and must not be cold or hot.
