After reading that they can grow in water, I transferred mine to water as an experiment, no pebbles or lecca, just water. 6 weeks on and all pieces are looking healthy and growing new roots plus I now have two pups. I have mine just in water on a south facing window for 6 months now and they are doing amazing! The roots had completly covered the bottom in no time, the first pups are now almost as big as the parents and there are new pups everywhere. One of the first pups even grew a flower! Thank you for your videos! 😊
When you change the water every two weeks, do you just carefully dump water and refill without disturbing the plant, or do you have to take out plant and wash rocks?
I've always been confused by this. How is it a plant can be overwatered and die, while at the same time live in water? These would make lovely gifts. How often would the water need to be changed and would you have to redo the whole thing all over with each refreshing?
Wow, that’s art. I’m going to try this with the ones I have outside in a pot. They’re all a bit brown and look like they’re dying. Soon they could be works of art though. Fingers crossed. Thanks

Those are beautiful and i put some in jars like this and are doing well. I don't understand though why this works when as you say in the other snake plant videos, you shouldn't water often because they come from an arid clumate and dont like wet feet.
