In the USA the word “Bayou” is what we call the swamps down in Mississippi and Louisiana area. It’s actually pronounced “buy-you” in America. It got its Native American origins from the natives who originally lived there. Thought it was just interesting to see how you pronounced it compared to Americans. Love your list SJ❤️

from the podcast, I liked the theme of catholic saints, i think thatd be a cool list to hear. also it’s not just for babies, because as catholics you pick your own confirmation name when you’re confirmed in the church (usually as a teenager), and confirmation names are always names of saints or iterations on saint names.

Why do I think of Pax as a swear word?
Like I know it’s not one but for some reason I just can’t get it out of my head that it is
    Maybe I’m crazy 😂😂?

You are right, if you mean buy and not bee for the first syllable sound, and a few others commented on it. Though I suppose that it could vary by accent.

Oslo has been on my list since you mentioned it in a previous video. My husband and I both really like it. His last name starts with V, and we love Oliver but it's too common. I also like Pax, or Paxton. For the viewer dilemma, why not Leon? Hubby could still call him Leo and the mom gets the ending she loves. Albie and Leon sounds quite nice.

I'm watching this two years later. I probably missed it because I was definitely not in baby naming mode at the time. My son's name is Marcel (Frederic). We loved it because it's so soft, but it's means young warrior. It fits him so well and he very proudly announces "I"m Marcel" all the time. We also call him Max because I love that nickname, but didn't love the normal longer forms. Now we're naming our second boy and it feels so much harder. But Josiah is one of my favorite names. I like a lot of names that end with "n" too, but our last name end in "n" and it never sounds quite right.

    Dilemma suggestions:
    - Albie and Calder
    - Albie and Rowan
    - Albie and Oreyn (or Oren)
    - Albie and Cheston
    - Albie and Hadrian
    - Albie and Vance
    - Albie and Rafe (Ralph pronounced the same)
    - Albie and Axton
    - Albie and Cadion (I think I made this up as I’ve never heard of it before, but sounds really cute!!)

Had to get stuck in for this baby name dilemma. Here’s some suggestions:
Reuben saw this already suggested - albie and rue is too cute!!
Auberon / oberon - means noble bear and has the N ending. Could be albie and obe / Albie and Ronnie?
Dorian or Lorien not sure what you would shorten too but love it!
Albie and Beaumont / or beau or bo? Or albie and monty / albie and mo. Beaumont meaning beautiful mountain.
Albie and Llewellen or shorten to Lew. Is like the Leo the partner suggested but the longer form ends in N. Means lion like or leader.
Albie and Wilfred can shorten to Freddie. Albie and Freddie. Which means desiring peace.
    Hope this helps xx

We named our son Enzo. A common nickname for Vincenzo and Lorenzo. We didn't want the Portuguese versions Vicente and Lourenço. At the time our criteria was a name that was easy to pronounce, easy to spell, not completely unknown but also not too common. It was on the charts in Portugal, France and a few other countries as a proper name. The pronounciation doesn't vary much from Portuguese to English, or German (which is where we were living at the time), which was important to us. I love your baby name lists and I am often inspired to make new sims just to give them some of your amazing names.

I love the name Eliseo! My daughter's middle name is Elysia, so very similar sounding. Most of my favourite boy names end up being soft, flowy ones, like Eleon, Cielo, Sylvan, Glen, Isaiah, Elwyn, Llewellyn, Merryn, Laverne, Alasdair, Aviel, Vernon, and Rowan or slightly stronger ones like Raymond, Adriel, Raffael, Vincent, or Hawthorne.
