Jeff has been working on this for a couple years now it's actually supposed to be a rogue like and since the last update it's gotten a ton of new features
Oh and it's only developed by one man
Jeff Lew the legend himself (yes he's worked on Cgi for the matrix)
Honestly I just hope he continues to take his time with it it definitely is his passion project
But you should yourself watch the killer bean movie it's cheesy but good fun
I saw some bits it seems silly(in a good way) but I love the whole concept!

The breakdance shoot and dodge and the grenade dunk being a few examples

Why is this cooler than any other shooter out there right now? Seriously, the dodging, the bullet time.. hell yes. This is so good. And the FPS and TPS is a 200IQ decision. Great vid Tacti!

"For some bullet time matrix action". The matrix relationship is no coincidence. Jeff Lew, the guy that created killer bean and also, i assume, main director for the game, worked as an animator or as vfx manager (i cant remember) for Matrix Reloaded
When i first saw the trailer i thought it was a joke and just a big animation, realizing that was actual gameplay and its a thing is amazing, i can't wait to play it!

just cause with max payne elements, first person shooter with gta style driving and bustling cities with wrestling style takedowns similar to the yakuza franchise, and beans
He did say in the steam discussions that for his own mental sanity he's gonna try for march 2023, i did play the playtest recently and there were bugs and such that he'll be working on and i think he'll be able to get it out by march. lets hope it'll be march even though he has work to do on it still
Also, anything seen in the trailer is more or less based on what Killer Bean did in the movie Killer Bean Forever, also made by the same guy who's working on the game.
