- Project Brutality 3.0 and ICECROWN CITADEL by arch_93 for DOOM II Hell On Earth on the Man And A Half Difficulty Level, Chaotic Random Spawn Preset. Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom - expect a lot of fun when playing it. Please note that the Project Brutality 3.0 in its current state is still Work In Progress, so bugs are to be expected, together with crashes to desktop.
Welcome to the Icecrown Citadel mappack with high quality textures, custom monsters (mostly bosses) and boss oriented maps adventure with new music for you to try, a really outstanding pack of 6 maps. The difficulty with each map rises accordingly, it's hard to describe the level of the mappack because some maps are quite short while the penultimate map is surely the longest and the most difficult. But let us start with a first map that starts deep down in the lower levels of Citadel, map is quite short and rather moderate in difficulty, it will take up to five minutes most of the times. At first there are absolutely no monsters for you to hunt down BUT they will appear just in front of you lots of the times because of triggers, anyway it's still doable to completes. The second map has a nice catch, actually two - first you cannot stay way too long on map because you will be endlessly swarmed by enemies and you need to activate the bell to end a level. Third map is actually one with the slowest pace and it takes few minutes to complete while being static - it's a trip by boat in the sea of vast space, you just need to survive few minutes demon attacks. Fourth map is completely... optional, this is one of the rare moments where you can skip a boss fight of this level and run to the exit doors instantly but you will miss a lot of gifts because of this. The penultimate map is as I wrote earlier a really long and difficult one to complete, it has multiple boss fights that can stutter your PC, also it's a quite resource consuming map because of size and monsters. And the last one map being The Frozen Throne involves a boss fight against The Lich King - the map is quite short because of this, but because of its nasty attack it can freeze a screen quite intensively.

I see someone's been playing Classic Wrath of the Lich King to be inspired in making this. I hope it gets finished with fights that replicate the boss encounters, and ends with Doom Guy fighting the Lich King with his Chainsaw versus Frostmourne.

Hey I've noticed that the project brutality repository site is down is this permanent or Will it be back up at some point? Because this is a pretty big problem if it is permanently down all those add-ons lost!

Does anyone remember that outdoor island themed map set at night in some kind of Mezo-American ruins with a giant spider as a boss fight? I can't remember it or find it anywhere now.

You can see clearly the overarching Warcraft elements with cool fantasy vibes throughout. I think even some of the enemies are lifted from hexen and heretic, the boss on map 4 looks like Zedek and there are definately ettin-like enemies; looks like sperpants and imp might have been reskined to fit too. Overall, It's very cool but we all knew Doom Guy could solo a 20 man raid.
Hi, Martinoz. I was wondering if you would do a full playthrough or playlist of the "Dead Silence" Doom mod? It's a really good mod IMO but i've hardly seen any vids of it on YT. There is a vid by "ProMeow Gaming" depicting it and there's a download link in the description. I would send you a link but YT is such a bitch about that now and this comment would probably get deleted if i tried.
Also, there's some strange glitch with your channel where i keep getting redirected to some scrap channel called "martin oz". Any idea what that's about?

Yes it is a very Great Idea with the Crossover between Doom and Warcraft .
The Visuals of Graphics and Sound are Great .
But there so many Bugs , or Problems with the Boss Fights and the Ship battle feels like it must exist no matter how great it is .
There are so many good Ideas but to less work done about the gameplay and Bugfixes, that's really sad :/ .
But anyway great Gameplay and thanks for showing us the Maps :) .
I gues the fixes will for sure come and some Gameplay overwork :) .

Player damage seems wildly inconsistent in this game.
The minotaur type creature at 4:40 seemed to die as soon as you spun up the chaingun.
The Mancubi at 18:00 died way to quickly versus the pistol, while they suvived longer at 20:50 against the shotgun.
After 31:00 there are scarier looking Pain Elementals that take some ammo from the chaingun to die, but elsewhere they die very quickly with other weapons.
Are these bugs to be fixed, or this is the finalised mod...?
Would love to play through all the original Dooms with the new enemies and weapons, including the overpowered flamethrower and lightning gun...!
But unfortunately I can't even get GZDoom to pump out the beefy PS1/N64 music and sound effects because there's no .ini file. 😒
