This is the first edition in the 2100 Series Side Quest. The 2100 is G-Shock's best selling watch type. What's is its popularity all about? That's what we're going to find out. But as far as the durability goes, my favorite is the Mudman.

Even though I mock the arrogant stance of environmentalism, I do appreciate that natural dyes and fabrics have fewer toxins. I forgot to mention that. It's important for something touching your skin.

Came across your channel while I was doing some looking around at watches. Decided to start wearing a watch again for the gym and just daily life for the first time in like 20 years. I picked this one because of the colorways and the cotton straps. But sadly the texture feels rough, less breathable, and too stiff for my taste. After less than two weeks of use in a hot and humid climate, it stinks pretty quickly while my nylon nato straps are much much more breathable and no odor issue so far.
I like both colors, just my opinion wish it had a second hand.

I have the regular model, black dial with white hands and markers, great legibility except for the digital display which is negative and very small and hard to read. So it's not my favorite watch. I was looking to the metal version with this kind of strap and adapters. I don't know if this kind of strap is practical in the oilfield or any kind of dirty work. But it's nice to see that it's a good fit for you. I think this one will work just fine without Bluetooth. Looking forward to your testing. 😁😁

I keep my Casioak in a burlap sack but not this one from Casio, just one that I got with a Christmas gift. I did it without realising they actually provide these in the packaging for some models. The thing about G-shocks is that storage can be tricky, so I understand why you throw them all into one bag!
I haven't checked specifically but you normally press the light button and the bottom left button to move the hands out of the way.
Its nice, I like the colour!

If you will move the hands press licht and mode button the same time and if you press adjust you can see the day of the week ,hour ,date

Hii, Is this strap available anywhere separately. I would like to replace this strap for my G shock 2100
That modern ''save the world'' recyclable cardboard boxes from Casio is very fancy I see......including the ''potato bag'' for the watch....I don't care how they call it, but I call it a cheapening, nothing else. I got ''unregular'' GA-B2100 (Banana....only because I like the colour....definitely I wouldn't bring it at the mountain) and I must say that the watch feels very cheap even though a price tag doesn't agree with that....if that's almost 200 USD watch, then my War Machine is a million USD watch. Even my 30 years old Marlin feels better than any modern GA2100.
Not sure Casio's ESG score is actually affected by its customer base.
