I have been living with it for a LONG time. It was an emotional journey because it started when I was in my early 20s and I was always vain about my hair. I've since learned about the hair cycle (the four month delay before something shows up in my hair) and what triggers it for me (stress). It was quite serious when I was first diagnosed. The spots grew together until I was almost completely bald, where the older spots were growing back while new ones were slick. After so long, I've become much more sanguine about it. I recognize my stress levels and try to mitigate them before it shows up in my hair with preventative anti-anxiety medication if I can get a doctor to prescribe just a few to get me past the hump. I've also had stubborn spots that have required steroid injections. Alopecia has thoroughly become part of my life. Knowledge helped me understand and removed a lot of my angst.

My 12 year old Grandson is going through this now. We are taking him to a dermatologist tomorrow. I can tell he is worried about it and he said a few of the kids at school have made fun of him and some even ask if he was going to die. My heart is breaking for him. I Pray everyday for him.
I can see and feel your concern and I Pray for you and all who deals with this disease. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🌻

We are not alone. I was diagnosed with alopecia areata in 2023 at the age of 23. For months i was insecure but also humbled. My hair has grown back in the bald spots that I had but keeping stress low is a daily struggle for everyone. I fear it may come back but I fear god more. Proverbs 1722 “ A joyful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones”

Thank you so much for sharing this. You are very strong in doing this. You are not alone! But I’m sure you know that. I myself suffer from AA also. Though I haven’t been to a doctor to be diagnosed, I did my own research on when j had my first episode 5 years ago. I didn’t even know my hair was gone! But it’s resurfaced and I’m trying to figure out how to deal and cover it up. I agree with you how emotional it can be at times… but again, thank you for sharing your story.🙌🏾💜🤗

I have the same issue as you..... almost exact.... I've had alopecia since 2 yrs old comes and goes.. I got shots for a good 10 years.... didn't help in my opinion... made my head feel big and numb.... its scary, isn't it?...... on so I saw a kid who used 90/for life supplements.....the Dr. said he believes its a cure for alopecia...
says we are having a mineral deficiency.... so I'm gonna try it...I'm on day one .....worth a try, and also don't forget to give it to God.... I don't know why we've been given this trial, but I believe they are designed to bring us closer to him...Good luck to all who deal with this ..... I'm praying for us all!

I know it will take a while to see the benefits but I am looking forward to it. I have made a vid recently on how I am now dealing with it. It takes time to absorb it all in. Thank you for your prayers, it is the best thing we can do. God is the ultimate healer. Will be praying for you Avril. Thank you for watching

iam a arab girl and arab girls are noon for there thick long hair ... I have thick long hair and One day my friend realised that I had bald patches on my hair At the beginning I thought it was a joke or my friend was scaring me because I am known for my hair But when I saw my friends tears I knew it was true I went to every doctor and they didn't give me anything that help me They always say its stress will be fine in few months don't worry ... I was so depressed so my mum called my dad and told him about what happened to my hair,,,,,! But guess what my dad had this solution And It's in everyone's home He told my mum to get a new clean needle a new shaver and garlic... he told burn the needle so you make sure It's clean First shave where is bold then pinch with a needle slowly until the dirty blood will come out and squeeze it slowly then wipe it with a clean tissue Get a garlic Cut it in half then slice the garlic until it looks like a banana peel so it makes the garlic juice easier to come out.. Rab the garlic well on that bold place where you just shaved and pinched do this for 10 to 15 minutes Every day And believe me in three days you will see The result you will see a garden on your head I have tried it and it worked within three days I know it smells disgusting and I know it will stain A little bit don't forget that (beauty is pain ) I have the most beautiful thick hair back and because my hair is very long it tookme six months to a year to be the same length ... if you tried this and it works just wish me the best in my life 😉😘🤗that's all I want

Hi there, I'm currently going through the same thing. I was diagnosed last month and my patches were bad and I'm losing my brows too. I totally understand where you're coming from and I knew about the yoyo of emotions. I'm an actor, a performer and to know I'm having Alopecia areata is killing me. My hair fall each day is so bad and I have more patches coming. The biggest I have now is at the back of my scalp and it's so huge. I have had injections and currently under oral steroids which is not working and the side effects are bad. I totally know what you're going through and sometimes the feeling is really really bad.

Also the diet regulation has a role to play as regards overall betterment of health and regulation of our body . I wud like to suggest to u to look out for homeopathic remedies from a professional . Wish u all the best
