Hiii. Loving your videos! I have gotten more information from you than any doctor or dermatologist has told me. All they ever tell me is that I have alopecia and that I should get shots into my scalp.... which I tried and hated! But thanks to your videos I am going to retry my hair growth journey. Appreciate your videos and seeing your hair journey has given me hope again

It was May 2020, when a young woman of about 26 years old approached me for Alopecia Totalis. She graduated in Psychology and Economics and moved to Bangalore, far away from home. The job was intensively demanding and stressful. In 2019, she was diagnosed with Dengue fever, for which she was hospitalized.
Due to numerous injectable medicines being given, she was unable to consume a proper diet. She became extremely weak post the dengue fever, lost an enormous amount of weight and developed a blackish discoloration on the face and hair fall was worrying her immensely.
3 weeks later, a bald spot was observed with painful boundaries and a burning sensation within. She consulted a dermatologist and had been injected again, but the situation worsened progressing with new bald spots and rapid hair fall.
In Dec 2019, she lost hair from her eyebrows as well. Observing this, the rapid cycle of consulting dermatologists, taking different medications continued, until she noticed that the injectable medicines worked temporarily but used to rather worsen the condition periodically. Furthermore, these medications also led her blood pressure to shoot up with numerous side effects.
During May 2020, when she consulted us, I totally focused upon her immunity levels and concentrated upon boosting the immunity foremost. After 3-4 months of continuation, I could really observe a significant regrowth with fresh hair follicles on her hair and eyebrows.
Just two days before, she called me up and with a perfect positive start to the New Year 2021, she told me, “I am doing really well”. These words, induced a sigh of relief along with an extreme sense of gratification just because of the fact that I could bring a smile on this young 26 year old girl’s face.
To the matter of surprise is we don't sometimes realize, that how some injectable medications can prove to be harmful for the patients over a due course of time.

    Thank you

I have scarring alopecia. I have some scarring but not much. However, I do have a lot of shrunken follicles that are producing thin, wispy hairs, and also short broken hairs. So I don’t have any bald spots or patches. I have thick roots but very thin ends. However, I don’t know which type of CCCA alopecia I have. The doc didn’t tell me. She said CCCA alopecia and mentioned follicular degeneration. I just started using rogaine, DHT blocker pills, L-cysteine pills, L-tyrosine pills, biotin tables, multivitamins, and just purchased the irestore helmet. Hope all of that helps me!

No you don't sound like a broken record you are stating the fact and yes it is very, very, very important to go to a dermatologist, doctor, someone with a medical degree to to treat the problem as soon as possible before it cause permanent hair loss. I have scarring alopecia with ccca and the diagnosis report mentioned mild. The main key is to seek help asap. I experiencing burning, itchy, a bug crawling under my skin, etc. I quickly went to the dermatologist .

@@DeepaBerar thank you for asking. My edges are filling in. The hair on my crown is slowly filling in and it has been 1 year and 6 months since the bald spot on the crown. I have a follow up dermatologist this Tuesday. The rest of my hair is growing thick except for the crown and the edges. I am praying that by the end of next year I will have hair all over the crown. Last April after receiving my diagnosed my dermatologist quickly prescribed antibiotics doxycycline hyclate, Clobetasol Propionate Tropical Solution for the scalp and ketoconazole shampoo.

Based on what you've described, I think I have the telegen one - known to me as stress-induced alopecia. I did not hear you say if hair loss is permanent or not with that one.
I've tried fermented rice water, oil/aloe hair masks, and Minoxidil - which actually caused additional hair loss. I also see a therapist, and have worked very hard on stress management.
My doctor will be prescribing a pill, which affects blood pressure, potassium and different hormones. She says it could be at least 6 weeks before I see any results.
Do you have any thoughts, ideas, or suggestions?

I went through the same or similar change in my life as you and was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder....my dermatologist recommended viviscal extra strength(silver and white package) I actually bought it on Amazon it was was way cheaper. Its a supplment you take 2 times a day I also took vitamin d,iron, biotin with it for 6 months and saw such a difference in my hair especially the bald patch on my crown which was the size of a quarter. Be consistent and you will see results it is a slow process.i saw change every two weeks and still taking everything my hair loss has also slowed. Don't stress you'll be fine! 🙂

@@suzanmohi Thank you for the encouragement. I'm not sure why the dermatologist didn't suggest Viviscal, unless it would interfere with other meds I'm on. But I already take D, biotin, and 2-3 others I can't think of at the moment. It's been two years since my hair loss. I haven't seen any improvement yet, just the additional hair loss from the Minoxidil.
I should start the new medication Saturday. 🙏🏻🤞
My hair was always fine and thin, but it was always pretty. This is so hard! 😢

Ayesha Shaikh me too. How did you get diagnosed for Androgenic Alopecia ? I also tried PRP with minoxidil much hair did grow tiny 1 inch pieces but they were very scanty and thin so they just fell off eventually. It’s till not sure which type I have. I don’t have hair loss in my family, no hormonal issue or any nutrition deficiency. I didn’t do a scalp biopsy but they checked it with a micro lens and said it was permanently damaged (follicles)
