At first Svetlana pulled one box from under the table and I was like, "Oh cool, they sent her a new Dremel," but then the boxes kept coming, and I had a vision of the table stacked with everything Dremel makes, and Svetlana trying to peer over it at the camera.
I recommend using the micro for the doggo's nails! Dremeling is my favorite way to maintain my dog's nails and is very safe / dog friendly as long as you keep in mind how hot they get, which is completely mitigated by only keeping the dremel on the nail for a second at a time or use a diamond bit that will not heat up. My dog's both much prefer the dremel to clippers and I can get much closer and smoother finish than clippers alone. The dogs will be weirded out the first few times you do it, but if you're consistent about not letting them squirm away and giving them lots of rewards for staying still and patient, they'll eventually learn the dremel isn't scary at all and more comfortable for everyone involved. The vibrations from the dremel are far less uncomfortable than the pressure from a set of nail clippers to most dogs that are conditioned to both tools properly in my professional experience. My dogs will fall asleep during their nail sessions with the dremel.
Great video! I have been using a Dremel for 20 years now. But even I can learn something new. There were so many valuable tips in your video. Thank you!
I started crafting for LARP 1 year 1/2 ago and I still can't believe how much progress I made thanks to your videos. Still a looooong way to go for me, but there doesn't seem to be an end to learning and improving. You're an outsanding teacher, thank you =)
When you whipped out the big box...then the next few boxes...then the rest of the boxes! My heart actually stopped and it's not even ME. Awesome sponsorship and WOW congrats on all the new dremels!
These videos are amazing! I asked for two books from your website for Xmas, hopefully I’ll get them lol. But listening to you say don’t worry about messing up and practicing, makes me remember I need to have patience. I get frustrated seeing all these amazing things, but I need to remember, you guys have more experience with cosplay/prop making. So thank you so much!
Svetlana's just livin the dream... Getting sponsored and sent a BUNCH of stuff by Dremel is probably every cosplayers dream AAAHHH. Great video!!! and tips are amazinG!
I would like to thank you very much. its content has always been interesting but it is remarkable how much it improved from a didactic point of view. A super hug. Bolinha Studios.
Have you ever looked into making a vacuum table? Hook up a vacuum to a box, perforated the top, and put a layer of filtering foam (like in air filters) over that. Pulls everything down across the whole area.
I have a dremel press that you attach the machine on top & make precise depth cuts. I never thought to make the screws & rivets with the end of a barrel, I have to go try now! :)
This was super helpful! I got a set of bits for my birthday and I had no idea what each of them did I usually just used my dremel for just sanding but now I'm getting into a bigger project and this is super helpful! Thanks!
A great 3D print idea for this set up would a a little hook for the shop vac nozzle to clip onto so you do not need to keep it in place with your legs and table edge :D
I started using a Dremel cutting wheel to cut instead of a box cutter to cut my foam. It was so much easier than sharpening the box cutter between each cut. Just go really slow and carefully as the cutting wheel can get away from you
Thank you very much, beautiful woman for giving us these teachings to those of us who like this work since many depend on this beautiful work, a kiss and a big hug
Bravo!! This channel always has great content, brilliant tips, and is well-produced. The work and time you put into this is Greatly Appreciated!! Thank you!! And, I have to mention, the lovely hostess of these videos is simply adorable!! Now, I'm off to find two corgi's so I can begin crafting! ;)
I know this is 3 years old but I waited to shout "quick release!" And if you're even lazier and it's in the budget. Get a few, then just change the mandrel with the drum you want in about 3 seconds. Loving your library.
Hey! Thank you for this very helpful video! I got a dremel for Christmas too and wanted to learn more about how to use it to its fullest potential! Also you look very pretty with long hair!
You can make your own cutting disk by using a 115mm one and cutting circles out of it with scissors/cutter then poke a hole in the middle. if its not perfectly round you can make it round by cutting a piece of metal with it till its even. Make sure its not cut/drilled to off centre or it will vibrate to much and also make sure to wear some ( good quality) safety goggles when doing it.
Amazing! You are an awesome artist. You're visions are next level. Too cool. You just gave me inspiration and motivation to start learning and create my visions. Hope to share my experiences and creations with you.
I can't believe I didn't know that's how you're supposed to change the sanding bits. Also, I like my dremel a lot, but I find it really hard to find additional bits for it - ones that aren't super cheap and terrible.
I have a dremel lite and I like it a lot 😊 It still gets the job done, it’s just not the “absolute best”…….. and not all cosplayers can afford the “absolute best” tools. So, the dremel lite is a great alternative
Not yet tested, but I had an Idea for how you could simulate damage to your pieces: let them "experience" Battle. If your piece is flimsy, you probably shouldn't do this though, and depending on the piece, you may need assistance from somebody. Take something long and narrow, like a sturdy ruler for example, and take a few swings at your prop. You could also cover "edge" of the ruler (or whatever you use) in contrasting paint to the foam, so it leaves easily visible marks, that you then can go over with a Dremel. That way, you can get organic/natural looking battle damage.
I also think that some excercise on some scrap foam might be a good entry for working with a Dremel in general. My daughter really wants to get into cosplay, but she does not really know how to start (she is a big fan of yours). Maybe it would be a good idea to just let her play with my Dremel (she is 15 now).
How to start into cosplay? Actually, Svetlana created a really good guide for that on her homepage. And yes, of course her books are also very helpful, but I guided my daughter there. Right now, she feels a little overwhelmed by all the possibilities.;)
thank you for the video! Can you answer about the dremel's noise & power levels, is the stronger one louder? Wondering how much my neighbors would kill me if I get one
Great video! I am working on getting into cosplay and recently bought a dremel tool, but have not been able to create the cool textures you do! I'm excited to try these out myself! CORGI
This information is so useful, as your videos usually are! Am I the only one just learning that the sanding tip can be loosened to switch out bands? I just forced mine on and off lol
The dremel 4000 is a very good machine but i didnt have 100$ for it.. so i bought the 3000 which is 1 tier down but perfectly fine for this type of work. it was only 60$
The most appropriate sponsorship ive ever seen
Ya
and what a glowing endorsement, too. corgis love it!
It's actually useful this time. I don't mind this kind of sponsorship.

Oh this is genius!! One of dogs is terrified of the clippers but his claws are soooo big! Thanks for the tip!
Normally sponsorships are kind of “meh”. This one made me genuinely happy 💖
Great video! I have been using a Dremel for 20 years now. But even I can learn something new. There were so many valuable tips in your video. Thank you!
If anyone deserves a Dremel sponsorship, it is you! Happy Christimas

I'm always glad to help!

Thank you for putting the attachment list on the description 👍
I didn't know you could attach so many tips, that's a very wide variety of tools
I just bought a dremel light and this video was a good intro on different attachments. I didn't know about the website too. Thanks Svetlana!
Svetlana's just livin the dream... Getting sponsored and sent a BUNCH of stuff by Dremel is probably every cosplayers dream AAAHHH. Great video!!! and tips are amazinG!
Love your videos. The obvious joy in creating, as well as how well you explains these incredibly useful techniques and tips. Thank you!
Agree with you about the Dremel, got my first one in the 70s and my daughter got me a new one last Christmas. Very handy tool.
That’s fantastic and you deserve this little treat from Dremel, you absolutely deserve it. Happy Christmas to you both and the pups!
What a joy to watch a true pro at work.
That rivet/screw technique was great!
I would like to thank you very much. its content has always been interesting but it is remarkable how much it improved from a didactic point of view. A super hug. Bolinha Studios.
I wish I could make a DREMEL out of EVA foam😩😂
New craft idea
It was really fun to see her pull out the new boxes, nice people should get nice things!
Wirklich der absolute Traum irgendwann mal von Dremel gesponsert zu werrden :O
Have you ever looked into making a vacuum table? Hook up a vacuum to a box, perforated the top, and put a layer of filtering foam (like in air filters) over that. Pulls everything down across the whole area.
These technique vlogs are most helpful, always nice to learn something new!
I have a dremel press that you attach the machine on top & make precise depth cuts. I never thought to make the screws & rivets with the end of a barrel, I have to go try now! :)
You're right, the dre-mel tools is a very good choice. Corgies squad!
Cute corgie doggo! Thanks for all the tips, very helpful and creative Dremel ideas.
This was super helpful! I got a set of bits for my birthday and I had no idea what each of them did I usually just used my dremel for just sanding but now I'm getting into a bigger project and this is super helpful! Thanks!
The organisation is just 🤩
Ich freu mich für euch. Das Dremel auf euch aufmerksam geworden ist. SUPER! Da macht auch Werbung spaß.

Best machine on the market. Love it 😀
Amazing video. Now I wanna do a prop 😆. Much love from Chile 🇨🇱
That STARWARS blaster was unreal, you have great craftsmanship.
I asked for a dremel this year for Christmas, and yes, it was the best gift I could ask for! :D
Sweeeeet! New toys and tools and fun things! Yaaaay! Your videos are always instructional and fun. Thank you, guys!
Would I ever make armor and elaborate props? Probably not. Do I love watching these videos about armor and elaborate props? Absolutely
Looks like DREMEL finally discovered their super fan
How can someone hit dislike on the video it didn’t even start yet???
You've got a point
I'm guessing they're not Corgi fans
"Haters gonna hate"
Thanks for all the new tips. Oh and Corgi!
Thank you very much, beautiful woman for giving us these teachings to those of us who like this work since many depend on this beautiful work, a kiss and a big hug
So many ideas now with all your great information ❤️🤙🏾
I wish you a merry Chrismas and and happy new year with Benni and your cut corgis.
Stay healthy ! Good luck from France !

And, I have to mention, the lovely hostess of these videos is simply adorable!! Now, I'm off to find two corgi's so I can begin crafting! ;)
I am here to join the CORGI squad. Also: Amazing videos, I don't have much hands on experience but everything you explain is so easily understandable!
Welcome aboard!
I know this is 3 years old but I waited to shout "quick release!"

Loving your library.
What a lovely Christmas present. Can't wait to see what you do with them.
Your wood texture looks great *-* Can`t wait to try them myself. I usually use soldering iron for it
I use a locked digital caliper against a steel edge. I can set it to a micron and scribe to a precise line.
Hey! Thank you for this very helpful video! I got a dremel for Christmas too and wanted to learn more about how to use it to its fullest potential! Also you look very pretty with long hair!
Benni gets you a Dremel for Christmas, now Dremel gets you FIVE. . . Talk about being one upped in a great way! 😁
Nice work, and very talented.
I just received my Dremel for Christmas! Thanks for the tips Kamui Cosplay
Corgiii ❤❤ Thanks for the video! It was super inspirational and informative 😍

Most usefull integration ever! Thank u
:) I bought a dremel because of your tutorials.
CORGI! Also, awesome tips! This has helped me learn a looot when it comes to working with foam!
I can't believe I didn't know that's how you're supposed to change the sanding bits.
Also, I like my dremel a lot, but I find it really hard to find additional bits for it - ones that aren't super cheap and terrible.
I have the stylo+ and I'm really into it, it's very light and small
I will look for new bits though 🥰
I always learn so much from your videos! I love how you teach!
OOPS!!! Happy Holly Day and Merry Xmas Alana& Benny
Dremel is love, Dremel is life
You can never have to many dremels!!😊
I have a dremel lite and I like it a lot 😊 It still gets the job done, it’s just not the “absolute best”…….. and not all cosplayers can afford the “absolute best” tools. So, the dremel lite is a great alternative
You are an inspiration and now I want to trade in my old dremel for the 4000. :)

Buy her a book on it? I think Svetlana may write one....
How to start into cosplay? Actually, Svetlana created a really good guide for that on her homepage. And yes, of course her books are also very helpful, but I guided my daughter there. Right now, she feels a little overwhelmed by all the possibilities.;)
Hi Svetlana! Hi Benni! I love you guys!!
Thank you so much for this. Very helpful.
Hear and dare!!!! Favorite Svetlana saying!!!!
Now I need a Dremel!!!
DAAAAAMN!
Dremel hooked you up!
Desde Mérida yucatan México mis más cordiales felicitaciones por todo lo que haces ,me encantan tus trabajos
thank you for the video!
CORGI
This video came in just in time! My dad's getting me a rotary tool this Christmas! (Not DREMEL because they aren't available here though :( )
This information is so useful, as your videos usually are! Am I the only one just learning that the sanding tip can be loosened to switch out bands? I just forced mine on and off lol
I must get the flex tool attachment! I have really little hands and holding the Dremel gets hard after a few minutes.
I love my dremels. Are there different densities of EVA foam? If so which do you use?
Ich habs geliked weil ich weiß dass es großartig wird 🤩
Corgi! Thank you for helpful video guide
Awesome video. Great corgi!
Great Video! Thanks so much. I think my Dremel powers leveled up!
I Really love your vibe!
Lovely video and tips!

Dremel is love Dremelis life
Corgi. Thanks. That was really helpful
I can't wait until you tried all the dremels and tell us which you like most and also how long you can work on 35k rpm with the battery ones?
Brilliant video thank you.
The dremel 4000 is a very good machine but i didnt have 100$ for it.. so i bought the 3000 which is 1 tier down but perfectly fine for this type of work. it was only 60$
