Would it be better to start with massive hole in the ground that you had to add a lot of dirt in to get your desired shape, or start with flat land that you had to dig out to your desired shape?

Nice! I wonder if our condo would mind if we put one in the parking lot. We went to our local Aquascape dealer yesterday to pickup some plants for our giant half whiskey barrel patio pond. I love that place.

My fiancée and I closed on our first house in April! We are re-doing our entire backyard!
My landscaping company could also really benefit by adding water features to my installs. That being said, I’m jumping to college level as y’all would say.
I have some questions about my future pond with waterfall in my own backyard. I would like a 6’ pond depth with about a 5’ radius at that depth. Partly to be able to take a dip in, but mostly to protect my future bass/trout pond during harsh winters. I also want a decently loud waterfall with about a 5’ tall waterfall. The pumps say only about a 2’ max depth? What bio filters, and re-circulation pumps would be adequate for a pond size of about 20’x20’?
I’m having a hard time deciphering what pump is adequate for depths deeper than 2’? Any help is appreciated..
