    What do you think of the plants in the spillway bowl?

      I like this idea. I was just thinking how best to keep them watered.

    Jack needs a raise!
    Sorry did I say that out loud?
    Love the spillways. They just add more interest.

    I was fascinated by the creativity of this pond and patio. Loved that it was speced out in the Team Project showcase. Lauri

    Hey Chris, it looks like you need to suggest your tech department that they need to make a container that is water tight!! And something to plug the hole to prevent rodents from getting in, with vent holes??

    I really like this pond, looks more doable for a smaller area. The cut into a patio with the wall below makes it more in keeping with the organic look of the pond. Great job Jack and crew

    Good time of day. I want to build a pond with a waterfall with my own hands, and I need foam to fill the gaps between the stones, but Aquascape products are not sold in my country, and I have a question, is ordinary polyurethane foam suitable for this, or are there any other ways to fill the gaps between the stones?

    That was interesting Brian to see your video consultation notes and the job under construction to finished pond…
    I thought you didn’t do the patio work though? Or is that because the other contractor team was there learning and they do patio work?

      Occasionally we go in and finish that part out too, but we normally don't. Thanks for watching!

    I did a 13' by 11' pond in my yard this past summer. Used the 2500 biofalls. I noticed you used the 6000 for the same size pond. Did I possibly underfilter, on my pond?? I kinda kick myself anyway, because I knew nothing about wetland filtration when I bought my 2500 biofalls. Had I known, I probably would have gone with the centipede and snorkel. As always, any help or insight you may provide is greatly appreciated. Derek.

    I want to know about your desk. Why do you have giant gaps/"handles"?

    • @TEAMAquascape
      @TEAMAquascape  8 місяців тому

      It's just the design of the desk, made of actual wood!

    16:18 although it looks really cool, that little rock that’s fully cut into the patio, in my opinion that’s a toe stubber especially if you’re barefoot. The pond & bowls looks amazing though! Especially the waterfall. Great call changing the fire insert into a planter…

    • @Tony-InLosAngeles
      @Tony-InLosAngeles 8 місяців тому

      With that name one would think you stubbed it enough by now to learn a lesson or two…make the rock bigger it’s always better!!! 😏

    I do like the lower planted spillway bowl, however, for me, the upper bowl competes with the natural look of the rock waterfall. I personally wouldn't want that look in my yard. Everything else seems great.

    when u go to swim in aquascape pond ,u see little suspended particles in it. is it bacteria ? and do these aquascape pond contain harmful bacteria since they are not chemically cleaned

    • @TEAMAquascape
      @TEAMAquascape  8 місяців тому

      They do not contain any harmful bacteria! It is an ecosystem pond, so there are likely to be small phytoplankton and such, but none is harmful. Our ecosystem ponds are biologically filtered and contain beneficial bacteria to help maintain a healthy ecosystem!

    I'm not a fan of the spillway bowls unless it's a more modern type pond. Why use all the natural materials to make it look like it's always been there then slap a bowl or urn in it.
