This is a fantastic little EDC knife. I have the ALOX version and it's so light and unobtrusive that I barely notice I'm carrying it. Absolutely love mine.
Pro tip: The corner of the combo tool isn't just for opening cans. It's also been designed to fit perfectly into a Phillips head screw. Obviously, it's only for light duty work or emergencies, but it works fantastically. I've used it on my Compact over 100 times and it's still in perfect condition. If you apply common sense to the job before you use it, it'll last a lifetime.
Another great review 😎👍🏻 “Gateway” SAK 🤣. should we be worried that you’ve got a problem 🤣 Nice little light weight carry 😎 So many SAK’s with countless options. Pay your money and make your choice or like some of us… buy as many as you can and alternate what you carry 🤣 Thanks for sharing Slippy and congratulations again for reaching the 1K milestone 👍🏻
Nice, I bought one for my 12 year old son, about a month ago. He loved it, until he found a Climber in a field 2 weeks ago and brought it home for me to clean up and refresh. He requested new camo scales which has gone on. Guess I get to keep the Bantam. Subscribed!
Very nice no-nonsense review! 2 thoughts from me: - Bantam is nice and minimalist but I would go all the way with Bantam Alox for even slimmer profile - For me it's missing scissors and pen so my EDC will still be the Compact
Slippy there's no denied them saks are so useful gadgets I use mine to carve and make things and fix things and bushcraft even cleaned a wild boar with one as you can get exellent edge retention and legal carry too but laws changing so not sure if saks be affected or not its bit sketchy at best. great content keep up honest great content 🍻👍🦊🐾🇮🇹
Pretty well suited for a back-up of a back-up. Or even the first SAK to give to a kid. Can they even tweak it up and make them better? I don't think so. In that price range it's pretty much perfection. Thank you Matt.
Thanks for the share of the SAK Bantum ... But more importantly... CONGRATS ON 1000 SUBS ! I'd order submarine sandwiches 🥪 and a Coke for all 1000 (if I had a channel 😜). Attaboy Slippy !!!
Where did the term 'walk and talk' come from, anyone know? American maybe. Good review. Useful EDC. Slips in and out of the pocket, especially the alox.
I can understand the love and hype for the Bantam Alox but if you want a single layer cellidor scale tool then the Waiter should be the obvious choice. Adding a mini screwdriver and a pin gives you 12 tools on a single layer 84mm knife.

Nice one, buddy! It's easy to get addicted to Swiss army knives. I go to meetings regularly, and they don't help. 😆
Thanks for watching
Congrats on 1000 subscribers!! I agree that it would probably be a handy knife to carry. Thanks for the review.
Thank you 🙏🏼

Thanks Toad ,🙏🏼
Excellent review of this basic Victorinox. Gateway SAK! That's dangerous! Ask me how I know. Thanks, Slippy
Thanks for watching John, we both seem to be lost in the Sak hole 😂

The combo tool is an effective pry tool, such as for opening paint cans.
100%
Neat looking knife. Congrats on hitting the 1.01k mark bud.
Thank you
@@SlipjointSawyer you are very welcome
Great Video ! Yep once you buy one you keep on buying more and more you cannot beat the knives at the price point!
You got that right!
Nice review. Thanks for showing.

Great vid, great tool, have one, love it. My urban EDC. Outdoors I use the Camper.

I'm not sure 😂 thanks for watching
As you say, they can make a nice little gift ! Or as part of a collection of course lol.
You got that right!
Great knife. Yeah a bit large for keys :) Great video Matt!
Thanks Randy
Can you also use the front corner of the combo tool on phillips head screws as well? I think I heard that somewhere before.
You can but it's not the best at it 🙏🏼
Great knife. I have one coming today😂
👀 excellent stuff
The combo tools have wicked half and walk n talk other companies need to take note.
Thank you Don 🫡
I feel this model is redundant with the waiter in existence
Unless I'm missing something
Unless you don't need the corkscrew
And I bail when you insist on reading the box. Please, don't.
Thanks for the feedback
Waiter is better
I love that one too!
