@Mud Kip On the Wings album Venus and Mars (the album “Listen to What the Man Said”) has“Magneto & Titanium Man” on it, it’s basically about Paul getting roped up in a robbery with them lol. He invited Jack Kirby to a concert and gave him and his youngest daughter backstage passes, there’s a few pictures of them talking backstage. Jack gave Paul and Linda a drawing of them and Magneto, Paul’s also met Stan Lee too. When they made the Help! movie Paul has some Superman and Jimmy Olsen books books on his organ’s music stand.

Speedball went from a kid friendly superhero that shoots energy bubbles to an always depressed edgelord named Penitence who's powers only work if he's in pain, so his suit had spikes inside it. Oh and the number of spikes was the same number of kids that died in the explosion that started Civil War

The only member not a mutant in the Hellfire Club is Donald Peirce, he was one of the main antagonist in Logan.
Psylocke as of recently regained her original body back (because it was problematic), while Revanche (Re-vanch) became Psylocke, while Betsy Braddock, took over the mantle of her brother Brian's role, as Captain Britain, and they're now really cool with each other, it's kinda wholesome.
Sebastian Shaw, The Black King, has the ability to absorb Kinetic energy and turn it into superhuman strength and durability, and besides helping start the Dark Phoenix saga, he was the main threat in X-Men: First Class, and as of the recent run in The Marauders, tried to kill Kitty Pryde permanently and control parts of the new mutant nation of Krakoa, but Kitty and Emma stomped him good, and he's been a wheel chair with broken bones ever since lol
Selene became a major threat in Ta-Nahesi Coates Captain America a few arcs back.

@28:40 Misty Knight, she's a street level superhero who's allied with Luke Cage, Iron Fist, etc. She is a former detective and has a bionic arm with enhanced strength.
Others have mentioned it but add me to the list of people recommending the Ellis run of moon knight. He fights a monster and his god overseer goes “you’re on you own for this” so he grabs a bunch of guns and shoots the monster. He also crafts magic armour to punch ghosts.

There was an awesome Moonknight comic during Warren Ellis' run where he had to investigate an apartment building that was causing psychedlic visions or something. It was awesome and had a really simple twist that I loved. Read that.
This and the Charlie Huston run in early 2000s are the best modern Moon Knight stories. Aside from that I'd check out the Essential Moon Knight vol 1.
I only know his treatment in Ultimate Spider-Man, which I really enjoyed. The Playground full of all his dormant personalities was a nice touch, and his dead serious laser-focus was a nice contrast to your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man

Speedball became f***ing PENANCE! He wore an iron maiden with spikes pointed inward that stabbed him causing extreme pain that triggers his powers. Each spike represented a casualty of the explosion he felt responsible for. The longer spikes that penatrate his skin are for the children who died. Its Edgelord PRIME!🤣

Not sure the issues, but the trade Moon Knight vol 5: Down South, you see him team up with Punisher, Frank pulls a Joseph Joestar and dresses in drag to sneak in to a place.

I can't fucking believe someone else remembers Darkhawk
I said it in Matt's Spider-Man video a few days ago - Darkhawk was one of my favorite characters as a kid/early teen. Alongside Danny Ketch and Speedball. Danny Sexbang/Dan Avidan of Game Grumps and Ninja Sex Party has also stated that Darkhawk is his favorite.
Dark Hawk is better than Shadow Hawk, but not as powerful as Mike Hawk.

A really great run of Moon Knight was his story during the Civil War event where both Captain America and Iron Man didn't want him because he was too nuts, in that first volume he fights Taskmaster and it's super sick!
Fun fact: Captain Atlas is named in line with Captain Marvel, as Marvel comics was once called Atlas comics.

warren ellis had a great moon knight run. that series had a few successive writers with diminishing returns, so they're not really essential reading but hey moon knight's cool

Moon Knight by Warren Ellis is real fun and pulpy, and the run by Jeff Lemire also has this great mystical trippy vibe. All have some pretty great art. Also would enjoy seeing another episode of this! Comic/game nostalgia is fun.

I've been somewhat obsessed with ZVitor games since first getting into MUGEN (because there will never be enough X-Men games in the world).
This game's predecessor, Marvel: First Alliance 2, is probably the most fun I've had with a beat-em-up since the X-Men Arcade Game (and I've played a lot of beat-em-ups) I'm stoked to try this one out!!!
And I love MK: Defenders of the Earth.
Would love to see you tackle the old Data East Avengers beat em up.
It's actually a game mode on ZVitor's game if you finish the main story. It's better than the Data East one even since you can pick a lot more Avengers to use.
If you're looking for a good Moon Knight run, check out the one from Jeff Lemire. Basically he's in an insane asylum and he doesn't know if Moon Knight was real or all in his head and it's him and his alternate personalities going through the Egyptian afterlife to try and save New York.

I had the same "Holy shit, the Sentry," reaction there. My hot take is that the original story and tie-ins for the Sentry were really, genuinely great. Never, EVER should have brought him back, but those first stories? Mwa.
Can I say, at that 'protect professor X!' stage, I just... love Charles actively helps by mind messing with the enemies, and not just lay there being a punching bag?

This ended up being my favorite of the OpenBOR games. It’s not quite as polished as it could’ve been compared to other OpenBOR games but I still love it.
This and Final Fight LNS are very much beat ‘em up junk food and it’s great.
Silver Surfer Black is absolutely incredible. His power set and feats are unreal.
Misty Knight shows up with Luke Cage in the comics and had her own ongoing for a while as well. She was in the Luke Cage tv show in both seasons plus in The Defenders and in season 2 of Iron Fist. In the comics, she loses an arm and Tony Stark himself builds her a cyber robot super arm prosthetic. In the tv show it seems like she's just a normal cop (with some unexplained psychic abilities) but then in The Defenders she loses her arm and this time Iron Fist builds her a super robot arm through his Rand Corporation, but also everyone including the writers forgot about her unexplained psychic abilities which never showed up again outside that first season

Now imagine if WayForward had free reign to do a 90's style beat'em up about infinity war with whatever characters they wanted and add good sprite art and a ton of geek lore extras to unlock. I'd buy that for a dollar!
The bad news with Moon Knight is that one of his best comics is written by Warren Ellis, who is a creep. But I can still recommend picking it up second-hand if you can find it. Basically a short, 6-issue episodic run with some of the best artwork I've seen in a comic courtesy of Declan Shalvey. Get Marc dealing with like, ghost punks, ghost fungus, a cyborg sniper, there's an isssue that plays out like the Netflix Daredevil hallway fight. Fantastic run, legit one of my favorite comics ever.
Also Jeff Lemire's run is fantastic. Super surreal and also with gorgeous artwork. I feel like saying much more would spoil it, but it opens with Marc in an asylum where there's a Moon Knight active outside, only to get weirder from there.
Aside from that, the series from the 2000s started by Charlie Huston is pretty cool. Edgy as Hell, but I'd say it was fun. Its basically the series that solidified Moon Knight as being this far darker character. (I'd recommend reading that, followed by like the first six issues of Vengeance of the Moon Knight, as that kinda serves as a finale to the overarching narrative started in the Huston run. Even if the actual ramifications of that story aren't actually long-lasting for Marc.
I think I know most of the 90’s Marvel characters solely from the old trading cards. I completely forgot about Darkhawk until Matt mentioned him and I immediately recalled him from one of the old sets.

I also love how Matt marks out over guys like Shatterstar or Adam X the Extreme.
Definitely play the rest of this -- and make sure you pick SW in the Asgard section. Her forward-special and ultimate are both hilarious in the best way.

I think the first stage in the Moon Base area is the starship from Armored Warriors.
Jack Flag should be a character on the Moon Base levels' character select screen, but if you try to pick him, his icon disappears and you have to choose a different character.

Only way I was able to beat the final boss Thanos was using Rocket Raccoon. Trying to zone him out was the only viable option.
Gotta love that a tiny dev using some dressed up assets from other beat em ups did a FAR better Avengers game than Square did. ZVitor is a gem we gamers don't deserve.
