GIVEAWAY CLOSED, Congratulations bradford martin and David Hoffman for winning the TH02, Shawn Stover for winning the TH30 V2. and thanks to any who took part.
We use the Thrunite TH30 and Thrunite Thrower everyday around the house. Mainly for taking our dog's out for their business after dark. Our life would be very inconvenient without them. Several other brand's have left us in the dark, and ended up not being worth our investment.
Thank you Thrunite.
Just a funny, my dictionary didn't like your spelling of Thrunite.
Thank goodness for forcing my dictionary to conform.
God bless.
Todd and Felecia
I remember when Maglites were the latest and the greatest. These newer lights are miles ahead of the best Maglights. As for headlamps, the convenience of handfree use alone is easily worth the price of admission. I have a couple
and love them. That TH30 looks awesome. I introduced 2 of my nephews to hunting and gave them each a TH02 for Christmas. Last year my niece joined us. Guess who got the biggest buck? Yes Sir, she sure did! I might have to get her a Th30. She already rides those poor boys like rented mules, if she had the TH30, she would be merciless. I taught her that, too.😅 Thanks again for the great video, Jeff!
"Major difference" man you aren't kidding! It is amazing how far flashlight technology has come. 😎👍
Hands down. Who would want a standard flashlight when this great headlamp is available. It's a must if you live in Florida.
As an owner of multiple Thrunite handheld lights, the TH30v2 looks like the cats meow for a headlamp. And owning a 6d maglight, I always bought batteries from a weight prospective, put Duracells in and it will wear you out just carrying it around. Great video.
Hands free is the main reason I use headlamps. Love the red TH02!
Wow❗ Maglite is no longer the gold standard. The technology that Thrunite uses makes Maglite look like a keep toy. Great information in the videos. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the comparison. Let's not forget that Maglites at the time, where a vast improvement on the cheap plastic flashlights that were produced. They Krypton bulbs where brighter than the standard incandescent bulbs. The lamps where rugged and carried a spare bulb in the tail cap. it was also possible to use smaller models in candle mode. Maglites moved to LEDs but stuck there, no adjustable light modes, no affordable rechargeable models (the one rechargeable model was super expensive). They missed the boat on innovation and practicality. It is probably possible to replace any original Maglite bulb with a LED and that would improve considerably the lighting performance, and lighting duration but would not bring multilevel lighting, turbos, red, beacons, etc. to their lights.
Specially headlamps with clips are extremely useful and versatile. Probably the most versatile of all flashlights ever made.
I am a personal security coach, and I always recommend them to my clients, as one of the first and most important safety items you can get and carry.
I've owned a Thrunight TC10 which seems like maybe over 10 years now, and it is by far the best flash light I've ever used!! I cannot see at night due to an eye disease and this flashlight has been my daily driver. I think it's finally time I invested in a head lamp. Dunno why it's taken me so long to do so. Thank you Thrunight!!!
Now I have to wander around my house with the headlamp aimed up to try this tip. LOL. I often candle stand my flashlights, but usually only aim my headlamp up if I am working on a project above my head. Generally I am content aiming my headlamp at where I want to see, and can probably use a lower setting. I do like this tip though and think it would be particularly worthwhile when around other people so that if you want to look at them, you do not aim your headlamp in their eyes. Further, if you are standing in front of a mirror, such as in your bathroom example, it would be helpful so you do not blind yourself with the light in you eyes and also it allows you to see yourself in the mirror.
A different tip, the typical metal medicine cabinet in a bathroom is a fine place to attach a flashlight or headlamp with a magnetic base, orienting it as desired. Just remember not to open the cabinet if the flashlight is in an area where opening it might pinch the light and damage the mirror.
I love my Thrunite headlamp! I agree about the maglights too
Absolutely love Trunites. They have never let me down. Would love to win a Thrunite. Keep up the awesome work Jeff
I am convinced. I have some lesser headlamps (falling apart) but everything Thrunite does looks so solid.Thrunite TH30v2 Headlight looks like the one for me.
In the last two years I've used the Ti3 as my every day light.. And when the power goes off being I have smaller ceiling, it works well for doing this as well.. But can't go hands free unless you have head lamp.. I really need to get one at some point. But to be honest, smaller is alway better (because it's lighter).. Well for me... And if I want a boost of light power I grab another small light I just love, the thrunite W1 😎👍💯💯.. Now with that one and the Ti3, I can do %90 of the he things I want to do with them.. But I may look at the smallest head light from thrunite (forgot the model name)... Anyways, thanks for the great idea, take care ✌️
Thank you for the great products. I love Thrunite.
This looks very useful for camping, and when the power goes out. Thank you for sharing. :)
Thanks for explaining, LEDs have come so far!
Great video man. It is amazing how far flashlights have come. They don’t even compare anymore to the mag lights.
Thanks for the video. I used to carry one of those 4 D cell Maglites every day.
I am always in need of a really good headlamp, and this loos awesome!
awesome flashligths, I need them for my night trailing runs and camping adventures :)
A good headlamp is an essential part of any emergency kit. 😉
Love my Thunite headlamp...great quality.
haha, that painting of Harry's loo mishap is perfect for the bathroom. GJ on your choice!
The Thrunite TH02 is quite cool, worth the investment!
I have a Thrunite headlamp and appreciate the hands free convenience
Thank you very much for the very good tip how to illuminate a whole room by turning a headlamp 90 degree upwards. That vas rely useful! It was also interesting to see the Thrunite TH30 V2 and Thrunite TH02.
Headlamps look great!
Thanks for the video...when it comes to choosing flashlights, the lumen output of the device is the most important criteria, for most people, in making a selection. These ThruNite Headlamps are excellent choices !
It's a nice tip with the headlamp. I still need to buy my Thrunite weapon light. Great deal for good quality kit.
Maglite - ML150lrs(x) mag charger rechargeable led fast-charging flashlight - 819 Lumens - $100.00 fyi. (Thrunite is obviously better, but I want to be fair too). I own several Maglite products and several Thrunite..I really love my Ti2, Ti3v2, TC15, and TC20 v2....so good.
Grown up with MagLite and still have one, but only to keep the memories...
Always have a headlamp, best for hands free operations! Be safe and take care, "God Bless", sincerely, Randy. 🙏😇👊
Useful information. Thank you.
Great addition to my wardrobe
That's a idea I never thought to use with my headlamp
Great recommendation to ceiling bounce a headlamp!
Love my TH30, I wear it every night on my bike ride. It really lights up the trails. My EDC is the “Archer Pro”, it’s perfect in size and power. Looking forward to your gun light. Thanks for all the great products, be well.
Great video. I remember when MagLite was the THING.....a long time ago.
Great lights
Very nice review, thanks!
those are great tips for using headlamps in emergency situations :)
I love that TH02
I like videos like this, great work!
I like this quality Product
What super headlamps these TH02 Headlamps are. Good for any emergency use. Sadly, far too bright for me to use to read my book at night in bed! ;)
Jeff does great reviews.
Maglite used to be good bright lights many years ago. I still have 2 but haven't used them for long time. Modern flashlights are way better now.
Ah man that's a sweet headlamp!
Great video, Jeff. I like your idea of aiming a headlamp towards the ceiling, which is something I frequently do with bright handheld lights when I desire to more evenly illuminate a room. I currently have a ThrNite BSS H01 headlamp, which is a great, compact, and fairly bright little unit. Versatile, too. I would love to have one of the two presented here. Maybe I'll get lucky!
I also own a ThruNite Ti5T compact penlight, which is great, but the pocket clip has broken. I have been unable to get ThruNite to respond to my inquiries on how to get it repaired.
thanks for the great video
I like the hack - thanks. I'm not seeing the point of talking about Maglites; I can't imagine people following Thrunite would waste any time with them. Although I was interested in the lumen outputs, which were even more wimpy than I would have guessed. I really like the TH02 headlamp for working in dark places - hands down the best headlamp I have used, but I haven't tried the TH30 V2 yet 🙂.
That's a lot of lumens! Great hack & tips!
Great video!
Hoping to get a headlamp soon!
I need another one of your headlamps.
Interesting video!
Keep up the good work!
Very nice
great video
Gonna have to get me one. My Stream Light only works when it wants to.
that being said, the multi-D cell Maglite also doubles as a fine legal weapon to carry in the car, just in case
Cool video
Love you thrunite
I like Thrunite flashlights
Good video
Nice video
Wishin' for one and do a review.
Wow, want it.
was wondering if the head lamps get hot on high I have a few of the 3 d mag lights and no way am I going to upgrade at that price thanks for your video
I use my headlight for needlework. I would not be able to do the detailed work I do without it.
How bright can a red-lamp be in a unit like this, to help preserve night vision? Thanks for the video!
These days I have bunch of AA/AAA powered lights(handheld and headlamp(NW tinted one)) lying around the house in case of emergency.
My TH10 has been going great for years now, but I wouldn't turn down an upgrade.
I've been thinking of getting a headlight...
couldn't you also use the maglite in candle mode with the reflected head removed and light up more of the room?
I have a dozen marginal headlamps. I really need a good one.
Would love to win one of these headlamps in the giveaway.
Anyone who doesn't recognize the benefits of a good, wide dispersal beam headlamp simply hasn't used one.
You like jazz
Shame that Maglite didn't keep up with the times......
Use my headlights all over the house day and night
Incandescent bulbs and disposable dry cells are obsolete technology. Led bulbs and rechargeable lithium cells are modern technology. All my flashlights use LED, lithium and have a focusing beam. I would not want to go back.
