Watching today's waffle while waiting at the tire shop. We got a flat tire on the way home while driving through a construction zone that is unavoidable. Luckily, we have the insurance on our tires so it will be covered! Will get my diamond Paiting in this evening, as we will be here for about 2 hours waiting. Thank you for keeping me company! Thanks for another great waffle, Rebecca. Love hearing Luna’s voice in the background - you have a super guard dog! Our elderly beagle doesn’t bark at all except for a yip or two when she’s sleeping. Your diamond painting is absolutely beautiful. Thanks for all you do for us 🤗
Hi Rebecca and Zesties. My Opinion: Anytime that you can spend with your adult children is a blessing! My girls are 35 and 27, both married, and my oldest daughter has a 3 year old. My youngest lives in a different state, so I don't get to spend the time with her (she is the one that recently got promoted at work) that I would like. My oldest is off of work during the week and works weekends and I work the opposite. So, I don't get to spend much time with her, either. My youngest will be home (in the state I live in) tomorrow (the 8th) for her grandparents-in-laws funerals. We are going to get together with them, her parents-in-laws and my oldest daughter on Sunday. I am looking forward to seeing my girls!

U have also got me hooked on Audible, altho not JD Robb. ATM I'm revisiting my childhood favourites, currently the Swallows & Amazons series by Arthur Ransome. I've also got The Shell Seekers by Rosamund Pilcher, who is another favourite author. I'm enjoying being able to DP at the same time so thank u Rebecca 😊😊
Hi Rebecca, I’m behind on videos, watching day 6 on day 7. I’m thinking by the time you get to this comment, I will have finished my Gary 🐌 from SpongeBob. It has a lot of color blocking, so it goes fast. Not to worry, I still have plenty of budget WIPs to work on as well. I’m also tearing into a new Lego set tonight! It’s the Yellow Delivery Truck 60440 that just released. It was on discount at one of the local warehouse stores (Costco) - I don’t have a membership to shop there, so a friend picked it up for me. It’s nice to have enablers even if they don’t play Lego or DP.
My youtube name is pronounced June (like the month) and Alie like the beginning of the name "Alienor" but my name is Léa if it's easier for you (I think it's Leah in English)

Hitting pause right at the beginning. I started my first job today and i'm working 6 days a week from 9am to 7pm and when I come home, I have to take care of my daughter, Abigail, who is 20 months. Let me tell you that your videos are a breeze of fresh air after a day like that !
I'm so glad I found this job, it's amazing, I learned so much things today my head is going to explode but it's really my kind of job. It's only until the end of August but it's a beginning. Everytime I tried to found a job before I either had too many years of education or not enough experience. Thank you to my boss for giving me a chance !
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is my first day was exausting, but I'm so happy at the same time and even more when I know that the last thing I'm going to do is watch your WIP & Waffle (I start watching on my lunch break) Thank you so much for your videos, I love them !

Greetings from sunny Atlanta! Count me among those who are learning to multi-place. I'm usually a perfectionist and I like for everything to line up straight. However, I've learned, from among the diamond painting community, that it's okay to relax about it, and it doesn't really matter in the final results if things aren't "perfect." Now I'm enjoying the process. I'm mostly using a 4-placer. I use Quake-Hold museum putty in my multi-placers. I've tried various diamond painting putty that smells wonderful, but I've not been able to keep it from sticking to the canvas. Thanks for the long video, see you tomorrow! 😊💖💜
When it comes to doing laundry, even when having a dryer, I find that I have to put my clothes on my Mom’s bed, otherwise they will be continuously transferred from my bed to desk for at least a week. But, when they’re put on Mom’s bed to fold, I have to do so in a timely manner, otherwise she’ll be upset at me and make me do them (even at 24, haha). There’s just some things that I have to “hack the ADHD” for.
Me again. Talking about nicknames... In the Greek language, Thea (theeeea) is an aunt. My mother-in-laws aunt lived with her and my sister-in-law could not pronounce Thea (she was very young), so she would call her Teetee. It stuck with her so much and even got shortened to Teet. When my husband introduced her to me, he introduced her as Teet. At Christmas as I was opening presents, I had one from Thea Katie. I had to ask my husband who Katie was. Teet never had children of her own, so my oldest daughter (who also always called her Teet) became her child/grandchild. She was a wonderful woman, but did not like her nickname.
My mom was supposed to be called Nina (there is supposed to be a ~ above the second n) by my cousin. He couldn't pronounce it, so he called my mom Nonny. His younger siblings picked that up and one of them calls her Aunt Nonny where the other just calls her Nonny.
This time I started and finished my section exactly at the same time as you! But I think mine is a bit smaller: I’m just slower when doing rounds 😅
About audio books, I have you to thank for experimenting and thus being able to spend time with 2 of my favourite hobbies: DP and reading. Otherwise, it would be hard. And I totally agree with your comments about the narrator and the characters in J D Robb “In death” series. Also you’re the one to blame… oh sorry, the one to thank for getting me hooked to those! 😊
Today's update. Fished my section in less than 30 minutes- it was slightly smaller and predominately colour blocking 1 colour, just a bit of 3 others, still it is the sky at the tp, more colours to come as I progress. Moving onto my big canvas to finish listening. Have you ever thought about doing drill funnels on your 3D printers - the ones where you pop the container in a stand?
Good morning, Rebecca & Zesties! Different/non-DP topic/long post alert... my latest non-diamond painting obsession is Australian football (AFL). It's like a combination of soccer, wrestling, volleyball, hot potato, keep away, basketball, and, of course, football. It is so fast-paced that I can't even diamond paint and watch at the same time or I'll miss something. Oh, and my ultimate favorite is when a goal (6 pts) is scored, the goal official does a quick (what i describe as) double gun draw but from the top. Some officials are more animated than others, but I love it all the same! I am an avid American football (NFL) watcher, but they have nothing on the AFL! I don't think NFL players would last 5 minutes with all the running involved in AFL. 😊 Does your family in Australia watch?
OMG! I might need to check this out! How do you find/watch it? I don’t have cable or satellite, just antenna 📺, Netflix, and prime. And of course, UA-cam. Sounds exciting!
@graylagran7443 Yes, Graylagran, it is TRULY exciting! In the states, at least in the Maryland/DC area, it's broadcast on FS1 or FS2, which are two Fox Sports channels. You might be able to download their streaming app.
@graylagran7443 I just searched on UA-cam "Austrialian football league" and though I didn't find entire games, there are some highlights and even rules explained. I'll definitely be checking out that video! 😁

I love the freedom of June me time. Even though I do not work, I don't always have free time to do what I want and not what my body tells me what I am going to do due to my illness.

Well it is a tip as not really recycling as they used to sell things that's more recycling Edit I am running behind
Dad doesn’t like going to IKEA he has a bit of a melt down especially if it’s a weekend trip, so me and mum went down the week which was a good idea!
In relation to chairs I got my office chair that I have in the dotting den from the range which is a great place with a variety of chairs, there’s regular reductions too! X
