Great tip on the sharpie, thanks. Tig welding is something I am yet to try, we do need to buy a Tig welder first. Great progress on the belt guard, it is looking very good. I really like the design of the bracket to hold it up. It is sad to not see any Rapidor action but we did clear some stuff so we could have a brief look at ours
Its only single story, but I always tie ladders etc and watch my step! I have done a fair few roof replacements in my time, but as you get older, it becomes a lot harder, and Friday night, I ached all over and could hardly move, not helped by starting the job with a dodgy shoulder, which is an old rotator cuff injury returning to bite me!! I am always careful Paul, and never do it alone! ladder roped top and bottom, and keep away from the edges, it's only the workshop roof, single storey! Phil
@@martynboswell it had a huge split in the bottom where it had rusted through, i sliced it off with a 1mm cutting disc, hardly any metal left and full of water. It was actually very close to collapse! Yes, certainly the end of an era!!
What was the mast for? I couldn't quite catch what you said... Wondered of it was HAM or CB radio perhaps? Hope you got that roof fastened down well, you can get a lot of suction in a gale. I acquired a brace of Rapidors this week one same as yours and a larger one, may try to get some video of them. The larger one has some problems, the small one suffers from slipping belt syndrome, a little belt dressing maybe?

Hello dear, I hope you are well. I visited your UA-cam channe Phil Whitley. My Week this Week.. Your content is excellent. But your channel isn't growing because your content title and description aren't optimized for SEO and don't have enough ranking tags. This is why no content reaches the top of UA-cam. As a result, the SEO score of your video is very low. According to VidiQ, (The video SEO score of your channel is 0 / out of 100, which should be 80+). If you want I can increase it to 80+ which will help your channel grow faster. If you reference your videos correctly, the progress of the channel will bevery soon and subscribers and views will increase. If you want, I can troubleshoot and help you rank your videos better. Keep the flagpole Phil, and raise the Union flag on completing the Holbrook resurrection, we'll all stand, salute and sing God save the King !
We have a flagpole up in the field Del, which had a Yorkshire rose flag on it, but it got shredded by wind laft year!

Great job on the belt guard Phil. Take care up on the roof!
