@@crochemily Late reply but just wanted to say that she absolutely loved them! And everyone couldn't help but compliment it, thanks for sharing the pattern ❤ making a pair for myself now 😅
I finished one last year , it was my first project that I finished till the end, it was a gift to a close friend of mine 😊 and she LOVED IT SO MUCH 😭 thank you for the video 🥰
Hi absolutely love this pattern but I’m stuck on joining the rounds 7:56. In the 2 round our we supposed to sc in the st from round 1. Or skip the st to be 31 stitch’s all the way up? Any clarification would be appreciated! 🫶⭐️
it’s supposed to be 31 st for every row so you would sc in the stitch that you slst into at the end of the row if that makes sense? if that wasn’t your question and i misunderstood just lmk! :)
I don't get it either😅 I really appriciate that you shared it with us for free! but I don't understand how did you make the rows to get 31 stitches (because I always get more)
so for your first row you’ll chain 1, make 31 stitches, then slip stitch into your chain one at the end of the row; that gives you 31 sc and one slst - for your second row you’ll chain 1 then again make 31 stitches - at this point there will be your slip stitch from row one & you don’t want to put a sc in there because that will increase the stitch count for each row! you basically just skip the slip stitch and create a slip stitch into the chain 1 at the end of the row if that makes sense? so the slip stitch doesn’t count as a stitch in the stitch count! :)
This is exactly the model I want to knit, but I cannot do it because the video does not support Turkish language. Your video is what I liked the most. I would appreciate it if you could write me the measurements of the knitting, thank you in advance♡
Im struggling a lot with specifically the transition from the cuff to the rest of it lol, ive got 50 spaces where i can put 31 stitches and thats not a tidy number😭😂 im trying to decide how to space them out, weather to crochet them together or just skip spaces... Im considering just going back with a bigger hook just to do the like 31 stitches lol or maybe i just do a smaller hook to get 63 stitches idk Edit, i was using a 4.0 hook and im gonna turn the cuff i made into smth else and then try again w a 4.5 and pay atention to how well my number of rows will fit w the later 31 stitches lol
hey! i don't think so unless you carefully cut a hole and then seal the edges with some stitching/glue maybe? i would recommend just unravelling back to where the thumb hole should be and including it sadly! :)
i’m pretty sure that’s normal! if you look at pictures of mine it looks like there are more stitches on the right but it’s just because we work from right to left
Hey I have never done crochet before and I wanna make this but I don’t know what stitches are😭 i searched on Google and didn’t understand can someone explain and what is ribbing🙁
hey! ribbing is the part that fits around your wrists (cuffs) and the bottom part of your jumper - it's called ribbing because of it's stripy/lined texture which is known as a 'ribbed' texture! :)
The star graph part, idk why but everytime i end a row i just keep skipping a stitch? Like, if i want to make 31 stitches then i have to skip 2 stitches including the slip stitch from the previous row. And the slip stitch line in every row of mine keeps tilt to the right. Am i doing anything wrong?
when i was making mine, i would have one stitch at the end of the row that i would skip to slst into the chain at the beginning of the row! your seam might be slanting because of these two stitches that you’re having to skip? i’m not sure why that is happening though 😭 hopefully someone else in the comments might be able to help!
do you mean aran/worsted or fingering weight yarn when you say weight 4 (i know there are different definitions so i’m not sure which one you mean!), but if you’re using a thinner yarn then perhaps adding additional stitches and then making sure the star is centred & also factoring in how many stitches you will need to have on either side of the thumb hole
it'll be too big! I'm following the pattern using 4-weight yarn, but have made some changes to compensate for the thicker yarn. Here's what I changed: - 27 stitches instead of 31. - I also removed 5 rows of the main colour after the ribbing so the star starts on row 3. - For the star, I downsized the pattern to make the width 11, and the height 12 instead of the 13x13 dimensions. - Instead of 9 background, 13 star pattern, 9 background, I did 8, 11, 8. - The thumb hole will come at a different time because I removed some rows earlier but just measure to your hand to figure that out - Not here yet but I'm only going to do 1 row of the background colour before doing the coloured top border. Hope this helps!
Why didn't you continue teaching us how to rise to the star I am a beginner and I did not know how to get up and start mixing 😢😢😢 Please share how to rise to the star 13:11
hey! you follow the chart that i showed on screen and do the same methods that i showed for the first row of the star! if you’re confused maybe look up a tapestry crochet tutorial which will have basics! :)
hey! I'm kinda confused about the star graph, how do you continue it? After 4 stitches, do you add one more stitch in a total of 5 and so on? I'm quite a slow learner hehe
this is a great tutorial and pattern! tysm! i was wondering if you would be alright with me selling the finished product on Etsy? I would give you credit for the pattern ofc :)

Hey I was wondering: I have smaller hands than the average and I think if I use your pattern it might turn out too big for me. Can I just make less sc rows at the beginning and end or would that somehow mess up the star pattern? Also huge thanks for posting this tutorial ! I've been looking for something like yours for ages ⭐️🤎
hey! it wouldn’t mess up the design but it might cause issues with the thumb hole as the number of stitches from the seam to the edge matters to ensure there’s enough room for the thumb hole! i would recommend instead using a smaller hook which will make the gloves smaller but still allow you to follow the pattern :)
Can't wait for more from you 🤍✨ love every you make

You could just add 3 more stitches ( increase stitch)

Im confused I should chain one after each row even when i start the star graph??
yes! chain one at the end of every row :)
When I start a new row, do I enter this stitch or skip it?@@crochemily
Hi , I’m new to crochet and i don’t know about yarn sizes . How do i know that i have an appropriate size for the gloves ?
