That was cool! Love your practicality. Your parents are so supportive of you, especially considering how much worry you put them through😜. Thanks as always, Brandon!
Love it!!! I fixed up my Expedition a while back. It's 3rd row seating so I just laid down my back seats and put in a futon. It was cool as shit! I just sold it last Tuesday. Already miss it! Lol
You really don't have to worry about mileage that much. Modern engines made since even the 1990s are easily capable of 25,350,000 mi as long as the oil has been changed and the coolant is kept up. So mileage is really not a reason that you should just count something if it's good make get online make sure it's not one of those specific cars that does tend to fall apart after a hundred and something miles. But very few do anymore. So you can pick up a high mileage van and not worry about it and get a much better value for your money. You won't put that many miles on the van anyway it's only a couple of thousand miles across the country and how many times you going to go back and forth across the country. So if you put another 10,000 miles on the van on something that's got 250,000 already it's really not a big deal. and in any case you're just as likely to get a bad motor in a car that has 50,000 miles on it as one that's got 250,000. In fact I would argue that if a car's had 250,000 miles on it and it's still going then somebody took care of it. Whereas somebody can have a brand new car and not change the oil for 3 years and burn up the motor in 40,000 miles or 20,000 miles and you won't know until you buy it.
@@yougeo The "you won't know until you buy it" is my issue. Mileage isn't the only thing I'm looking at - families are notoriously hard on minivans. I keep thinking I need to find one that was owned by an older couple who bought it for when the grandkids visited or because it was easier to get in and out of than cars or SUVs. 😂I'd love to know the vehicle I buy was well taken care of but it's tougher to do so nowadays.
Stealth for sure, especially with the roof box and bike attached to the back of the Sienna. Thanks for the tour, power plant for 16 hundred and all kinds of expensive equipment, car plate MGW 6826. Now I just subscribe and trace your videos and one day all that gear will be mine.
Mad respect for doing everything in 4 days. I will say using the actual setup is going to be a pain, especially getting into the back seat with that cabinet in the way. Unless you're ok with constant frustrations, living in such a tight space requires being able to access and use everything you need easily from the inside. That being said, anything that gets you on the road is good enough. The setup can be tweaked as you go.
Heck yah Brandon that's gonna work great . Just think outside the box & anything is possible . I don't blame you for getting rid of the ambo way cheaper to travel & you do a lot of that .I like it . I'm onboard for your wild adventures .
good idea , saw a Chrysler town country wheel chair van , one could remove the lifts, ramps had a drop floor lil more head room if one was sitting on a bench
I love how it turned out! I would get some solar panels and mount them to the ski box. The cheap semi-flexible kind. And those lights, I need to get some of those!
love the new build. it's good to be reminded that simplicity is sometimes best. question. you mentioned the ambo and the bus. which did you like better? i'd love to do a mini-van but i'm married and need more space.
I used a curtain rod but it’s strapped to more curtain rods that are attached to the grab handles for the front and middle seats. I hope that made sense haha I can show it in detail in one of my next videos if you’d like.
@@BrandonGross though I can’t see it clearly, that’s what I thought. I tried a regular bent rod and flattened the ends to poke in the sides, but I kept knocking it out. Thanks for responding.

I would love to be friends, get to BSin, help ya out, building, filming etc., get to chill out and hang out!! 🤗😉
Nice setup but cheap. So where have you been already and how does your Sienna cope up? How many miles now and no issues ever? Whats your fuel on long drives? Im planning to do the same 🤔
Ha, I essentially have the same build for my Sienna, minus the shelving. I like the dropdown table on the shelving, I need to incorporate something like that. How did you buy your van, direct through seller? Also what are you using to hold up to hold up the back window cover? Wood stick?
Yeah it was parked on a street near my parents house with a for sale sign. Bought from the owners. And yeah just some random small pieces of wood laying around the garage
Secure your bed to the floor! In an accident, you don't want that thing to become a projectile! (Yes, vanlifers have been kxlled and injured this way!)
@@BrandonGross the reason why I bring it up is because you could put the panels up against the inside of your windshield towards the sun charging your power station when your away from your van
It's interesting how the "travel" influencers are moving into SUV-s now.......Bob Wells is building out a Subaru Forester now. He says that it will give him more freedom.
So if someone who has actually stealth camped that is not a stealth camper. You put a roof rack on it you might get away with it you start hanging motorcycles off the back of it is no longer stealth. Now that doesn't mean it's a problem because quite frankly you don't have to be a stealthy as everybody seems to act unless you're parking in certain areas but you honestly just don't get bothered that often if you don't stay in the same place very long and you're using regular commercial parking lots. Just scout out a parking lot see if there are any cars parked there overnight if there are you can probably blend in and if there aren't don't try it. Going good thing you did was you put and inverter in the fridge in there which definitely helps.
That's awful, how do you even get in the back? On my minivan build I left the rear passenger side open to easily enter the back. Totes under the bed for storage, car fridge. power station, 12v lights throughout, a couple fans, USB charging and a 12v 22" HDTV. I can even carry a folding ebike inside. Cargo carrier on top, along with 200w of solar.
Will be doing the same thing soon with same AWD Sienna van. Thanks for sharing. Good luck in your journey man!
