Waiting for delivery of i230 6-9i. Switched from MP20MB & T20 wedges to Glide 4.0 45; 50; 54,58. Give up a small amount of “feel” for a hell of allot more forgiveness and consistency!
i230 6-9i will be in the bag for this season and I expect quite a few season hence. Tested both. Could not get on with the P770. Found the leading edge tended to snag / drag through the ball. Bottom line found the i230 to be very solid and very very consistent!
I currently love the 2023 p7mc and I hated the feel of the 2021 p790. It was dull and muted. Do you think I would not like the p770? I’m thinking of getting 4-6 on the p770. Thanks!
Hi Jay, never...... a company permanently borrowing technology from another manufacturer and claiming it for themselves 🤣🤣 never happens 😊 It's stayed the test of time so its obviously worth keeping and does give benefits, and also they haven't found anything design wise fro far to beat it 👍🏻
@AskGolfNut it's taylormade- if they found anything to beat it it would have been tossed in the trash eons ago. Definitely has a benefit. I had them amd the face slots I'm my old RSi 2...now that would be a great compare video ! Old speed slot v new...
As a mid to high handicap golfer, I find mid and long irons with a long blade length and offset extremely off putting. I can’t stand the way it looks. In fact, I just sold my 2014 TP CB’s because they aren’t the same size as my 8-AW. So, I agree with the tour pros in that a smaller blade in longer irons is much nicer to look at and confidence inspiring.
Agree, but for many golfers it puts the fear of god into them 😊 That's the beauty of people though, they all like different things 👍 Thanks for the comment and for watching 👍

@@AskGolfNut you got it. Thanks for the thorough review.
Jay will you be testing the Srixon mk II irons?
When I get hold of them, absolutely 👍
That's pronounced La HOY-YA 😏
Hi Mark out of the entire video I'm glad that's the only thing I got wrong 😁 I'll remember the pronunciation and rectify for the next video 😊👍
