Surprising using the 1886/71 platform for .30-30 instead of duplicating the 1894. Don't get me wrong, I think the action of the 86/71 is a better design in general, and for the longer cartridges.
I'd like to see someone neck a .348 casing down to .338 or up to .358 and bring it back to the 86/71.

Pedersoli told me that they are currently making two prototypes in .308 MX and in .348

@@wildhuntersomb9311 questa si che è una bella notizia possiedo 2 marlin in 308 MX fantastico calibro ma purtroppo si deve ricaricare per via della mancanza di munizioni commerciali..spero vivamente che venga messo in produzione almeno il 308 MX..grazie come sempre
