    That's a beautiful snare.I have seen a few of them at Maxwell's drums over the years,in different finishes.They are a work of art.

      This one is simply spectacular and sounds “out of this world”.
      It’s worth a lot but my drummer friends who owns it, is not as concerned with the price as he is that it goes to a player who appreciates what this is. It was actually the prototype for Arnie when he started making these drums.

    RIP Mr Arnie Lang - I had the pleasure of meeting him some years ago, and very recently purchased one of his great Gladstone drums. Please see my recent UA-cam video upload with a demonstration of the drum with brand new calf heads.
    I assume this fantastic instrument has sold. I’m not interested in purchasing it but certainly wish I could, but I do now on one of Arnie’s very last great snare drums, possibly the very last.
