When I first saw Choronzon I was really disappointed that it was a Legion re-colour given that this is such a major figure in Thelema and the Occult. Now I wish that Doi-sensei would re-design Choronzon especially given that with all of the storage space and software development their really isn't any real reason to continue using re-skins of another demon in the same game unless its some kind of callback to a previous game.
Barring a full redesign, Id rather they brough back his "newt" form. As it stands now, like you said, he looks like nothing more than a knock-off Legion.
Most of the sources I found used the K sound, but there may be other possible pronunciations. For example, I mentioned Sandman in this video and they pronounced more like Ko-row-n-zon rather than the way I said it, Ko-ron-zon. When in doubt, I usually use however they pronounce it in Persona when the protagonist calls out the name, which is what I did here. But then again, I also learned that they pronounce Cait Sith as Kate Sihth, so I know for a fact they're not always right either lol
Spelling and languages has always been a mess so i dont blame yall. I always thought he was called chao-ro-zon said that way not spelled. Also accents also make it hard to pronounce things as there originally said
