While I just got her as a dis, she still stayed useful when I was doing the horsemen fights in nocturne. Also if I had to spitball why kelpie becomes valkyrie, because kelpies drag people to death while the valkyrie takes them to the afterlife(?)
I think maybe the idea behind Kelpie turning into Valkyrie is that the Valkyrie tames the Kelpie and it becomes the horse she rides, but that's just a guess

Tsumi to Batsu really likes Soul Hackers designs in general - a lot of the demons in that manga had their designs lifted straight from there.
