- Cheeseburger soup aka Hamburger Soup with cheese is a hearty, chunky soup that's perfect on a cold day or quick weeknight dinner. This is a one pot meal that's easy to make, quick and easy to clean up. Make plenty because it is so good everybody will want seconds. You can use fresh, frozen or canned vegetables. You can add pasta or any vegetables you have a taste for. I never make it the same way twice, but it is always delicious.

Ingredients:
1 lb. of ground beef
1 medium onion
1cup grated carrots
1 cup diced celery
4 cups diced potatoes
1 1/2 cups milk
3 cups broth or water & bouillon
Salt and pepper
8 to 16 ounces of cheese
2 to 4 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup instant potatoes or 1/4 cup flour or 2 tablespoons corn starch

Reminds me of Mother: She would make soup and freshly baked bread (24 loaves) from scratch nearly every Saturday. The soups could be seasoned bean soup, tomato soup, potato and ground beef soup, split pea soup with ham, chicken with homemade noodles, cabbage and ground beef, stone soup (we kids collected things from the garden, help prepare them, and She made it great and loads of fun with us helping) and more...... Always the best and tasty. With 11 of us kids, Dad and Mom did their best. Today I am a pretty good cook THANKS to MOTHER.

I have a favorite quick way to add potatoes to soups, etc. I keep a bag of frozen cubed hash browns in the freezer, add some to the pot, and there you have it! Cooked potatoes in soup, or a casserole.

Praise the Lord! I know that if Children were taught about the Lord now a days that it would make all the difference in the world in how their lives and ours would be! Thank you Becky for the Scripture read. It's so good for our Hearts, Minds and Souls! Amen Your Soup looks so delicious and Creamy! I love Soup for any meal. Alot of people don't think it's a meal for Supper but a Side. Many, many times in my life growing up here in Georgia, that was always a meal for us for Supper and Lunch, if any was left from Supper. Lol. We always had Cornbread, Biscuits, a loaf of fresh baked Bread, or Sandwiches, and sometimes Crackers! However, it was always so delicious! Mama made all kinds of Soups or Soup like meals! Yummy! I cleaned out my Fridge from the Weekend and Week, Wednesday night and I uses everything and made the Biggest Pot of Soup I had! I used my big Blue Pot that I use for Canning. Lol. I had to! I had some Hamburger Meat, Roast, Baked Chicken, and some 1/2 Meatballs I had made about a month ago and put in the Freezer! I had Ground Beef left over from making a Meat loaf and I throwed it in a big bowl and added some Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Basil, Oregano, and a little Lea n Perins Sauces to it and mixed it up. I then made little 1/2 in meatballs and throwed them in a freezer bag and put in the freezer for when I made Spaghetti again for my Great Grandbabies! I took all the meats, and added Potaters, Tomaters, 2 big Onions, Lima Beans, Pintos, Green Beans, Peas, Carrots, Corn, Okree, Celery, Beef Bouillon, and I had a Half head of Cabbage that I cut up and throwed in there and let cook, Salt n Pepper, a little Italian Seasonings, and a big squirt of Worchestershire Sauce, and let it all cook on simmer about 4 hours! That turned out to be some of the Best tasting Soup, I think I ever did make! It was so hearty and good! I got my quart Jars n Lids out and Canned it all except what we eat on for 2 days! It made 5 quarts! Yes, You can, Can food with meat in it! My one Granddaughter got 2 quarts and took it home so her and my 3 Great Grandbabies could have it another night! It was plum delicious! I'm sorry for such a long Comment Becky but, I had to tell Yall about that Soup! I throwed everything I could in that soup! I was wore slap out that night! When you get my age, thangs tend to ware you out more. I love and appreciate you Sister Becky. I'm gonna make your Cheeseburger Soup. It looks so good Hun. I keep you in my Prayers! God Bless. 🙏❤❤

My husband and I have said this for quite a while now. Nobody takes the time to practice religion anymore. It’s sad to see My husband and I both attended a Catholic school and tried to instill that God is ever present. Take the time to be nice, to help someone in need.
