For anyone using the G12 chassis, below is how I managed to flash the Alpina B7 EGS onto my 2016 750i xdrive.
I tried Alpina B7 vehicle code 7F13, which ended up not working since the B7 is based on the G11/12 Chassis so I used stock 7F23 vehicle code.
However, Alpina B7 (2016) earliest production on G12 Chassis was 12/2015 according to realoem site. My car was manufactured at 0715. So I had to change only the Vehicle Manufacture date for 0316 that E-Sys would recognize for 7F23. Changed I-Target (ship.) to 0316 build, and calculated.
I learned from forums that you can tell if SVT SOLL is correct for Alpina if after injecting FA with 920/9XA in Salapa, you will see changes in DME, EPS, and (VDP) as well as EGS.
The SWFL for the B7 for the G12 chassis (2016) was swfl_00003bb7-166_090_003. After flashing I saw the D1 indicator successfully and test-drove the car with no problems. Cleared errors after in ISTA.

Something to remember is that this is guide for twin turbo engines, and not single turbo.
For single turbo engine there is Japan version Alpina that fits to x30d engines much better.
It is correct remark. So that software suits better bmw like G30 540d. Due to twin turbo.
There are differences between Alpina Europa and Alpina Japan? can you please tell me the SALAPA Code for it.

Там и не говорилось об этом. Ещё не знал тогда таких нюансов. В новом видео Esys для чайников уже более актуальная информация.
Is it normal also for the others here that with the alpina software the Car always goes to First gear when nearby stopping? It is a Little bit annoying that now the Car goes by Like 5kmh from second to First gear, its a harder gearchange that you feel in the vehicle.

The last two years I was using xhp sw ST3 on my F530d, I get used it on very nervous gearbox even on comfort mode. I always want to compare with Alpina sw (now I did, thanks to you).
I will put xhp back, like I said. I get used to it ob nervous shiffting, downshiffting and upshiffting is more lazy in alpina. But yeah, it is for free, that is advantage.

Hi, Vladimir! Very interesting and educational video! But on my car (G07) Salapa doesn't accept from the very beginning 920 and 9XA, the frame turns red and the values are not saved. What am I doing wrong?
It means that there were no ALPINA in G07 chassis

first of all, a big compliment for the content you produce.I have a question: Will there be another video on how to flash the DME/ECU specifically? I tried to remove the US speed limit by changing the type code from 3T33 to 3T31. Then I flashed the DME, but the problem still persists. Maybe it’s also related to resetting the DME’s working hours... I don’t know... Thanks 😊
Reflash DDE is easy but as you already mentioned it will give you nothing because of engine operating hours counter.
So easiest solution is to make a chiptuning and that’s it 😉

Worked with a F32 430D Coupe 3R51, had to create the files with esys 3.30 and flash it with 3.27 to to the car 🎉

Нужно или можно после прошивки прописывать оригинальный FA назад?

In your case 2TB will be better. Because your transmission is not made for ALPINA (
Waiting for Part 2.. also, wanted to check if this will have any effect on wear and tear of gearbox? For the better or for worse. If shifts are optimised technically the wear and tear should be lesser, so curious. 😊
I still haven’t found a method how to measure a performance efficiently. That’s why there is no part 2.

Thanks for the vid. Do you have to up the vehicle software level to the recent version BEFORE flashing? Or can you leave your, day, F10 mfd. in February, 2010 on that old software level and flash that Alpina firmware with time code that's more recent than your car? Or do you roolback the software level of your car to the software level of Alpina firmware that you're about to flash?
It’s better to update and keep the whole vehicle on one istep level for better performance!
Great How-to. However, I would like to remind everyone that this should only be done to tuned cars. The Alpina software changes shift points to very late in the rpm register. For example, my F11 530d stage 1 (320hp and 675nm) makes max power at 4000rpm and max torque between 2-3000rpm. With the Alpina flash the gear changes were 4750rpm and one gear was 4900rpm. This is outside peak power and torque curves of your tune map making your car slower since there is no power or torque in those shift points. You need at least the 535d stage 1 for the F10/11 for this to be of any use. For G-series I suspect you need a 540d stage 1 at least.

@@hochh6978 with ESYS you need to change your Typeschlussel line to YA73. This uses the 750i N63 Alpina parameters. You havent told me what year model your car is only that it has an early N63. Assuming you have a F10 550i you can use YA73 to flash alpina transmission software to your 5-series.

С N13 ставится АКПП которая ну никак альпину не потянет (
Не прошивал ДДЕ под альпину так как там были и другие компоненты поменяны кроме софта.

С опцией автодальнего надо закодировать SZL FRM KOMBI

Hi, will this work on a F11 M550d? There wasn't the equivalent Alpina version, hence I'm not sure it will have any benefit on the 3-turbo engine. BTW, great work Vladimir... no channel is as clear in explaining things as yours.
It depends what transmission do to have.
If it’s ZF8HP70 then it’s doable

Hi, could you support with some info about how to distinguish which alpina flash is better for my 6hp26/28z (diesel), I have an xhp but after 1.5 year of experiments I don`t like it using in daylily driving looks like shifting 1-2-3 slippering, and then everything ok, also if I push accelerator little bit more to go faster it just slippering and try to shift to lower gear! Crap! Now I am on stock nothing special but for daily it is better for sure, also it accelerates faster by just pressing accelerator, without any redundant shifts.
I doubt there is an ALPINA software for 6HP26

@@BimDoc любая прошивка - двоичный файл. Конечно, сравнивать биты не самая лучшая идея, а что если открыть в текстовом редакторе? В сети много программ для сравнения двух тестовых файлов, независимо от логики содержания. Есть даже онлайн сравнители.

Updating NBT Evo is the same, as any other ecu. Only difference is that it takes around 1,5-2 h and it’s easier to brick it.

I’m so disappointed, my car does not have the proper transmission for alpina software 😞 have you ever tried replacing a transmission? For example, I have an N55 engine with 8HP45 transmission. Can I swap 8HP70 transmission and code it to work? I imagine that it fits, as the alpina B3 is the same chassis as F30, right?
Transmission swap will case more problems that solutions.

Владимир добрый день, вопрос по АКПП zf5hp24 с ДВС m62b35 нужен ли для их работы АБС ,я внедряю в бус и АБС нехотелось устанавливать можно ли его программно отишить , и можно ли прошить ЭБУ АКПП залить прошивку альпин
Можно обойтись и без ABS. Ошибки по этой системе (ее отсутствию) все равно будут регистрироваться. Маски ошибок попрятать можно, но полностью удалить это вопрос.

Привет! Есть F25 30d на софте 19 года + st1 + куча всего накодировано сверху (включая 2tb).
Предварительно поднимать уровень софта боязно из-за чипа + надо людей искать, кто сделает. Можно ли прошить только коробку альпиной при этом, не будет ли проблем? И насколько процедура рискованна, если в хозяйстве только enet кабель, слабоумие и отвага, а icom нет?
Только акпп можете прошить.
Енет подходит очень хорошо. Всегда сможете вернуть ориг прошивку.

Just do some reserch and found that actually GA6HP26Z is another name for ZF6HP28 on BMW gearbox..means it can do the Alpina flash..and i believe for Getrag tranny they use GM infront of the model of the gearbox..please correct if i'm wrong..cheers mate
Привет! Вопрос немного не по теме. Подскажите пожалуйста как вы сделали, что в esys корректно отображается размер шрифта? Например, когда редактируешь в FA salapa или шрифты в логах при программировании, или когда смотришь статус fsc кодов.
Настройку в свойствах exe файла esys делал, помогает только на половину, а часть шрифтов мелкие. Если через лаунчер с опцией high resolution то так же помогает не полностью.
Это и не поменять.
Дело в разрешении экрана. Поставьте Full HD и посмотрите на результат.

Замечал такие проблемы на мониторах с большим разрешением!

How about a 2018 540iX (B58, G30)? Can it flash to Alpina? Tried hard to figure out which transmission it uses but still no clue... Need some help here.😵💫

40i tranny if I remember correctly cannot handle so much torque, so not ALPINA compatible

Подскажите пожалуйста, есть Е70 3.0 дизель, Рестайл с ZF8HP70, посмотрел по выпуску Альпин, с такой коробкой и Е серия была только 2-ух литровая дизельная Alpina D3 Bi-Turbo… Как вы думаете, подойдёт ли данная прошивка на Е70? просто 3 литра вместо 2ух и полный привод смущают 😹💪🏻
Хороший вопрос. Лучше сделать просто тюн акпп. Наверняка будет 😉

Такие схемы к сожалению есть не во всех версиях ISTA+
Пробуйте другую версию.

Hi. I've got garage.. I made an mistake I flashed alpina d5 ecu using ista. And I lost alpina file in engine ecu. Do u have maybe information which file should I find to update engine ecu? 2013 d5. Its happened as there is no sticker on my laptop 😂

xHP неплохо но чисто для себя. Очень много берут за каждое чтение.

After the accident high voltage battery is “disabled” due to safety reasons. It should be unblocked before being recharged.
