Nice channel. New sub here. My Chinese wife and I are living a similar life to you and your husband here in the south capital - 南京!We have a baby girl on the way. Keep the content coming!
Your kid is adorable. As for pressure, it’s everything. It’s just you need to have some balance. Without some of the social pressures you find in the US along with the crime, your children will be fine. Regards from LA
Often, adults feel the pressure more than the kids especially if and when the lessons are made to be fun and enjoyable for the kids as a challenge - and kids love facing and solving challenges. Know what is really stressful for kids? When they do not know how to solve a puzzle and is placed not only under pressure to solve it but criticized for "not knowing". Kids brains when young, are like dry sponges, eager to absorb information and able to absorb whatever is given to them. Never underestimate the ability of kids to learn, using our own slowly stagnating adult brains to compare against those of kids. I learn this when I was helping to bring up a toddler barely a month old until she was 3 years of age. As a newly born baby, she couldn't speak in the way that we are able to as adults because at that age, her vocal cords and throat muscles would not be properly formed yet. However, just because they are unable to speak to us as we would understand speech, it doesn't mean that they are unable to understand (just look into their eyes as they look into yours as you speak to them) - and I used normal speech, not "baby talk like "goo-goo-ga-ga" stereotypes Their brains are absorbing whatever information you can provide and they are learning everything at a ferocious pace - from learning their environment around them, recognising faces, learning speech, how to walk, to eat, etc, etc. So, never underestimate them - as long as they are given a proper balance in everything around them. This is why kids can learn not only several different languages while musical instruments at the same time. What defeats adults are often easy-peasy for kids.
Okay, realizing you are from Lousiana like me and have an Asian husband and kids, also like me. I feel like this is like super rare, like maybe we're the only ones! Lol. If y'all ever come visit Nepal while we're there or if we ever get to visit China (dream 😍) we should meet!
Be assured that the Chinese People love you very much, BeeRose. Account users who write in Chinese but post weirdly nasty things are likely faking a Chinese identity to discourage you. Real Chinese persons you meet are always supportive of you and deeply loyal, and they endeavor to empower you.
This made my day 🥹 thanks so much for the kind words! Chinese people are some of the sweetest people I have ever met, my mind will never change about that. Really appreciate you
@@beeroseinchina, we appreciate you tremendously as well! You can sense, in the everyday, on the ground in China, how excited the Chinese People are in regards of you and your devotion to China. Your very presence fills our spirits with much joy! You are a veritable Chinese lady, and China is very much your home. We celebrate every day in tandem with you. You are precious to us!
A woman I know well that grew up in Beijing would not answer yes to this question for a variety of reasons, but I will highlight a couple. First, she is very petite, and people were rude and shoved her out of their way especially when using public transportation. Second, she was unable to practice her faith as she and her family wanted...that wasn't "fun" at all for her. She has been much happier since she came to the US for college. Other people's mileage may vary of course.
@@tommyto9677 Yes, she has in NYC and other places in the US. Of course, it is true that there are rude people everywhere, but for some reason (too many) Chinese people don't understand the concept of waiting one's turn and/or queuing up. Have you noticed that too?
@yufeiwu-g1p If other people have had experience that is different from hers, then good for them. It is not an accusation. This is what she experienced (basically on a daily basis) getting on the public bus to go to school in the morning as a teenager. btw- insults are rude too
Kids can always have fun. It's the parents that have to worry.
Kids can always be happy when parents make the right choice.

Love this video ❤😊
Beautiful family !
Such a cute kid😊
Those burgers look yummy! Is it common to use gloves at restaurants? I've really only seen people use gloves when they eat boiled seafood.
GREAT EPISODE
超級可愛的弟弟

ever considering staying in a less intense city? or do you like life in the big city?
I hope your finances and bank accounts is still okay.

How old is she? If she is over 40, I will not be surprised.

She's pregnant. Give her a break.
