Fantastic story telling! I first visited China in the 90's, lived in BJ early 2010's and met my "one in a billion," and just returned to live near family on the Chaobai river on the BJ/Hebei border. Your video inspired me to binge watch several more. My mom told me that she doesn’t like my girlfriend and asked me to break up with her after the first time she came to my home. It was very hard for me to maintain the relationship with both sides and it was very painful. But I knew who she is and I know she’s the one for me. We’ve been married for 10+ years and they get along pretty well. My mom changed her view later as I was insisting.

Hey! welcome to my channel and thanks so much for the support! for marriage registration, I needed to go to my embassy and get a notarized document stating I wasn't already married, and then when going to the official place I needed that, my passport, my partner's ID, and two pictures of us with a red background (two because we both get a copy of the marriage book). we filled out some stuff and then it was done! it was a super easy process
