Every video there has to be someone like you stating this. I think we get it by now. Also some people like music. Cant make everyone happy. I personally get bored watching these videos. But I like the restoration videos, and plan to do some myself since I also like restoring things.
Your videos are excellently made, showing your steps and processes very clearly. You do great work restoring your pieces, in a beautiful setting, with a most awesome cat supervising. Your work is among the best on the internet. Thank you.
I do not know where you discover these long forgotten esoteric wondrous pieces of bygone days, I just love the care and attention you give to each piece as you resurrect it to become a monument to all of the others that came before and after it. And I watch for Avril as well. She is such a beautiful cat and clearly so interested in everything that goes on, just like our cats did. She is such a part of your work and family.
Again a great job of restoring. You're a lucky man, living in such a beautiful part of the world and getting to tinker with all that old machinery (although I'm sure you have plenty of hard work to do).
Tip: to paint these (15:54) letters you could use a hard rubber applying the paint on it, so that all are painted evenly. Excellent restoration and video, as allways. Regards from Argentina
Cat in action timestamps: 3:23 Coming in from the right side, it's Avril, the orange fluff 3:25 A little tail peeking from the right side 3:37 After hard work, time to clean, doesn't matter who did the hard work :) 3:40 Also, that flour is interesting for fluffy assistants 12:27 Only one piece left on the table, besides a tired cat helper 12:37 Inspection, using a cute little nose 15:54 Upper right side of the screen, a passing fluff 16:42 Final inspection (probably) catto 17:15 Even the sponsor is getting some paws, lucky them :) 17:29 That's the best publicity Awesome, I've been missing some good clips, and that's one interesting device. But, using steel threads to rub clean the insides of a wine bottle, won't the glass get damaged? Or are those wires/cables made of a very soft alloy?
It might damage the glass somewhat, but i suspect the pressure those thin wires places on the glass isnt enough to damage it to a noticable degree. That and the wine will hide it probably.
Love your videos and love how Avril interacts. A real "shop cat". Don't know if you have ever tried this, but I have used ammonia successfully to clean brass hardware in old houses. The trick is to completely submerge it. Takes about 15 to 20 minutes. I save the ammonia in a large glass jar for future use. Many thanks for the entertainment.
Do I see two sets of multi talented hands? Father and son maybe? fantastic videos never a dull moment so educational so fulfilling please keep them coming resurrection and reanimation at it's best Thank You
Beautiful restoration, love to watch you work and great idea with the bicycle cables. I was wondering what you were going to use to replace the original wires. I never would've had thought about it. Well done, thumbs up from me !
Great videos, I restored antique automobiles on my life I'm from the USA 75 years old, & I love you videos , I love the Cat, she should be in all your videos I look forward to the cat keep up the good work. Tom
You are absolutely brilliant. Both human and feline ;) But really, you've inspired me to go freshen up my grandads's tools I inherited. I'll start with a screwdriver... see how far I get.
A truly brilliant restoration! Breathtakingly beautiful and a delightful function as well! And, yes, the pussycat is wonderful. We have two rescues ourselves and know their wonderful worth! Please keep up the great work!
Man, did you buy an old winery? The stuff you do is awesome and rough. Of all the restoration videos I watch, you tackle some of the hardest projects. Always entertaining!
Awsome! Those type of old farmers and wineyard, etc objects realy add to the feeling in Your videos! I know it ain't happen during my lifetime that i would ever come in possesion of that amonth of money required, but i hawe since i was a little kid always dremt of living in a rural castel in France, if i won on the lottery or something i would move today, honestly. :)
I think... The brush wasn't supposed to be just metal wires. They severely damage the inside of the bottle. More likely twisted wire with some sort of fibers/bristles to clean the inside. Search google for "bottle brush".
Another excellent restoration/saving of an interesting item, the pump came out really well, and the demonstration gave the whole project a meaning, I see your Oranges are still doing well, if you run out of projects Avril will be knocking those off the tree to play with!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
excellent job. Congratulations. keep inspiring us and show us the way to beautifully recycle things. God bless you. Take care & remain immune to Covid 19.
I enjoyed the restoration and I loved that little brass pump, but, i don't know why this machine exists; surely it would easier to just grab a brush and wash the bottles by hand?
The handle came out so nice, definitely my personal highlight from this video. Good job.
thank you My Mechanics 😃😃
It appears that all of my favorite restorers watch each other’s videos! The handle was my favorite bit as well!
@Linde B. ha, the bit you like the most is nearly the only piece that isn't original. what a shame!
You’re both great and masters of what you do!
This is literally the highest praise a restoration channel can get!
I give him no credit. I think it’s the cat doing all the real work.
The cat is the narrator.
Everyone know this :)

i like this channel not just for the great restorations but the tools/machines i never knew existed
When a frenchman restore an old tool you have 50% odds it's about wine. Santé!
Not cheese?
@@pawelm5493 well what do you think the other 50% is about?
Cheese is coming :)
I absolutely love the fact that you dont use garbage music in the background..... It adds a whole other level to your videos
he is french after all...

Agreed - the sound of the work is the best music of all.

avril helping you pour the flour.
she takes her job as assistant supervisor very seriously!
What do you mean assistant?
Spinejackel Making sure the flour is appropriate for the restoration by personally testing it…
I love when Avril kind of sticks her nose in things! So cute!

you the real MVP Avril is the highlight of all the vids lol
I love how the son’s hands are starting to look like the father’s. What a great channel for me to learn how to repair things.
Anytime Avril is on camera is always a bonus besides the great work 👍 😀
Always a great final product! Love the attention to detail
Splendid job restoring the wine bottle rinser. You used your drill press as a lathe for the little wooden knob you made for the crank. Great work
Love your attention to detail... and the cat supervisor! Nice job!

Wow, you have a grape crusher, a corking machine, and a wine bottle washer. Now you can start your wine bottling company. lol

Yesss! This upload saved my Monday!!
A great video to wind down a cold and busy Monday! Love your video and restoration style. And ♥️🐈Avril.
Never, EVER use music in your videos. They are absolutely amazing without them, and it's a major reason why I am subscribed.
Beautiful restoration, love to watch you work and great idea with the bicycle cables. I was wondering what you were going to use to replace the original wires. I never would've had thought about it. Well done, thumbs up from me !

You are an artist... Bro...❣️❣️❣️💓💓💓💓❣️❣️💓💓🏵️❣️💓💓❣️❣️💓
Earlier I thought of it as a time pass hoby
I love your clever way of "turning" the handle! And Avril has to sniff everything to make sure it's safe for you to continue! 🤣
An excellent restoration... WELL DONE!!! 10/10
That's cool guys. Very nice work.
Not gonna lie but these videos are pretty relaxing to the point where I fall asleep.
You are absolutely brilliant. Both human and feline ;) But really, you've inspired me to go freshen up my grandads's tools I inherited. I'll start with a screwdriver... see how far I get.
Avril testing the flour for quality
It's good to see Avril once again! Looks like he is waiting for some clean bottles for some milk...
Good job
More videos please and keep up😜💜💜
I love men's big sturdy hands. My hands look like they were made for picking up kittens.
A truly brilliant restoration! Breathtakingly beautiful and a delightful function as well! And, yes, the pussycat is wonderful. We have two rescues ourselves and know their wonderful worth! Please keep up the great work!

Hi bro 👋👋👋 very very good restoration 👍👍👍🔥💣👌🏽
I like the fact that you don't feel the need to put 6 kilos of grease per bolt like Black Beard does.
Nice Restoration!
I love your videos super educational and the cat is. A bonus
Great Job!!!

Nice restoration and an excellent job on the wooden handle. Making a replacement with matching shape is harder than it looks. Cheers Stuart 🇦🇺
Another beautiful restoration. Thanks...
Another absolutely amazing job 👏.
Another beautiful restoration. Great work.

well done came up with stuff I would of never thought of using
Excellent use of the "vertical wood lathe".
I want that cute cat with that bottle rinser. 👍 nice job sir 👏.
Very Nice work ! Grettins from argentina .. Avril is fantastic
Looks like it had a long hard life before you even got it. Looks great, good job on restoring it!!
Enjoyed your video and gave it a Thumbs Up
Did you use solder with lead? If you did, it'll contaminate the bottles.
Outstanding job will be great for a winery show piece.
It’s relaxing to just hear the sounds of the work being done. 😋 The kitty cat 😸 is clearly the CEO of the company. He supervises through intimidation.
Great result,great job one's again !!!
Another excellent job! I love all of the old machines that use brass and iron together. A nice pairing wouldn't you say, like a merlot..lol
excellent job. Congratulations. keep inspiring us and show us the way to beautifully recycle things. God bless you. Take care & remain immune to Covid 19.
I love seeing old things given a new chance at it. :)
I love your orange cat!
I enjoyed the restoration and I loved that little brass pump, but, i don't know why this machine exists; surely it would easier to just grab a brush and wash the bottles by hand?
Magnifique restauration d'un outil très original. Bonjour à Avril !

sweet, a new LADB vid, this is one happy boy. does the machinery you restore/repair get used again or do they go in some sort of museum?
Neat little tool I have never seen one of these before . Great job it looks very nice !! Sooooooo shiney 👍👍👍👍
Nice to come home and see one of your videos... Very relaxing. The tail on the vice, is that purple heart?
Beautiful work! Another fantastic restoration
Avril pettins!!
