@@benjaminAgagne my ACD is like this, not as snappy because I didn’t do it for every meal etc. But I think it’s truly a herding dog thing. The highest caliber herding dogs are like a missile with a brain and teeth. They live to serve and they live for contact. This way of training them is super enriching and gives them a job other than herding, even if your dog also herds. You could use most herding dogs as bite work dogs too. They’re just driven to muscle things around and be snappy and fast. Everyone who owns a dog like this is covered in scratches and bruises all the time and they’re basically a full time job or like having a perpetual toddler that can run fast and like to bite things. 😂

And they also obsess over people and always have some form of behavior that is odd or troublesome, even if they’re strictly working dogs and don’t get spoiled with special diets and sleeping in your bed. They’re neurotic af.😂 My dog is somewhere in the middle of the two and has horrible separation anxiety, although he isn’t destructive, just loud. He can be the coolest or silliest dog ever, and the worst dog ever just from over or under stimulation, lack of exercise, or him just being an intact male dog. His love hurts. It’s hilarious though and truly fun if you enjoy animal behavior and training and don’t mind getting dirty or making your life about your dog(s). Even my two cats who I had first, know how to sit, touch, place, and can be in harnesses. You have to be neurotic too. Bonus points if you’re neurodivergent. 😂

He will see your message i hope, Following these little beauties must have been a nice little journey to brighten the soul their movements are fascinating they are just incredible i remember using this lure similar for my little best friend thanks to this video if i am correct and i do think this man truly brings the best out of animals in his care, this mans passion is what these dogs are bouncing off him also,
As for my little best friend i will soon be travelling the world with.
i did not plan on getting a dog but somehow got a dog in a day i went out to a friends and come home with a puppy pretty much i couldn't not when i seen her and called a friend to come collect the sibilng as it was the last two,so we had to do a mad rush shopping for the new pups.
When my money comes in a Belgian Mali will hopefully follow perfectly as i have always planned since i was little no better working dog to travel with i will be carefully selecting, i already do a fair amount of hiking/camping/swimming/forest things like that with my current dogs.. although their energy is ideal i would prefer more lol their behavior is incredible , i know i am in no current situation for another dog let alone a Malligator.. i want to be with this dog 24/7 at least 17 hours lol...my dogs are not ready for that either i couldn't divide the time as i already rest one of my dogs more frequent than the other at times for her better good so i do want the Mali as only dog though i wouldn't turn the offer away if i know the current situation is good for a mali.... i need to prepare for outdoor living pretty much to get the best out this a BelgianMali, i am not keen on walks around the block, i will take them out for toilet then come back few hours later i have even left to take them swimming and before i know it was was a 24hr night.. we went to a lake i was teaching my field dog to swim and i was blown away on how quick she worked with me although she does not like the water touching her toes she will be relaxed for a while in smaller currents if i ask her to go in usually she only comes in now if i go in rather than her panicking at the side thinking i am in danger or getting to excited also though i could turn my back and she would not go near the water at all.. i worry about over doing my own dogs at tines though i believe i am in good tune with my dogs we understand one another well regardless if we are doing what we expect from one another lol
Thanks for reading very much appreciated if you did this was a random speel not sure where it come from..

This such great advice! My dogs aren't trained as exceptionally as yours since they are family dogs, but I used their meals for training too! I would let their kibble soak in a little bit of warm water to soften it up, made it more enticing but more so, so they could eat it much quicker. Every meal and every interaction was a training session. Now they get freeze dried treats 🤣 they've upgraded.

      Doggy See = Doggy Do.
That is all really, find out what your dog will focus on the most a special training/time to work/ all eyes on me tug rope or something or the least valuable distraction for the dog as a reward for the environment it is in for paying attention to you it will follow the reward system and stack a food pouch/pocket somewhere or use hand to begin, using your body to begin assist position even moving a step forward asking them to come right hand just lower say (Command) (Do not use Biscuit.Treat things like that use words like heel, right side or even have fun and use tighty for right side and loosey for left side so only you will most likely know how to have control of your dog in most places.. then reward dog when in position move around slightly and just guide them...starting all of this in the least distracting environment allow it to be months and tbh what i say for training is for life we are teaching them how to be around environments safely and freely we are very lucky to be able to have these creatures you can say/use reward when dog is in postion if i have not said prior haha(Reward, it is best to use a word less frequently used for that anybody else says this frequently used *reward* word it may not be right for the dog and they may pick up other behaviors in time accidentally )

we trained our pitbull this way, by making her sit and stay before eating she became receptive to the commands even without any treats. proper training from a young age is a key responsibility for any dog in my opinion, not just working dogs

My last service dog came to me already trained and she passed away earlier in the year. These videos are definitely giving me more ideas for training even though I’m highly unlikely to pick a mal or gsd as my next dog. I’ve trained dogs before including some of my family’s working dogs but it’s always good to learn more techniques! I’m not planning on getting into shutzhund (sp?) competitions or looking for a protection dog but there’s still a lot of little things that I’ve been able to pick up. I’m hoping to get a potential service dog or companion and then a livestock guardian.

Truly, This Gentleman has a great aura about him and how he works with these locked in adaptive 4-Legged fur land sharks, these dogs are for the few and what this man and how this man treats these dogs from what i have seen is admirable i shall agree, These dogs surely have an incredible bond with him his gentleness in teaching is so attentive to the dogs he is with and he allows them to remain their original character at the same time which i love to he seems to do things very well with dogs,
      Hope all is well.

Exactly people need to understand that these are working dogs! That means you need to teach them to work which could be playtime for you and your dog because they love to work! So be committed to the training or you’ll have a dog that doesn’t have a job to do and it will get bored and it will find something to do like tearing things up, jumping fences to run away etc. you get my point. They have to have a job to do or they’ll find their own way of keeping busy 😬
