I’m not planning on getting into shutzhund (sp?) competitions or looking for a protection dog but there’s still a lot of little things that I’ve been able to pick up. I’m hoping to get a potential service dog or companion and then a livestock guardian.

Exactly people need to understand that these are working dogs! That means you need to teach them to work which could be playtime for you and your dog because they love to work! So be committed to the training or you’ll have a dog that doesn’t have a job to do and it will get bored and it will find something to do like tearing things up, jumping fences to run away etc. you get my point. They have to have a job to do or they’ll find their own way of keeping busy 😬

My last service dog came to me already trained and she passed away earlier in the year. These videos are definitely giving me more ideas for training even though I’m highly unlikely to pick a mal or gsd as my next dog. I’ve trained dogs before including some of my family’s working dogs but it’s always good to learn more techniques! I’m not planning on getting into shutzhund (sp?) competitions or looking for a protection dog but there’s still a lot of little things that I’ve been able to pick up. I’m hoping to get a potential service dog or companion and then a livestock guardian.
This is amazing, I appreciate that you make this so accessible for people to see. Meal time is training time!!!
Been incorporating these ideas with good results. MY problem is that I get dizzy easily.

Man, you're incredible!!! Huge admiration! For yur dogs too, of course!
Truly, This Gentleman has a great aura about him and how he works with these locked in adaptive 4-Legged fur land sharks, these dogs are for the few and what this man and how this man treats these dogs from what i have seen is admirable i shall agree, These dogs surely have an incredible bond with him his gentleness in teaching is so attentive to the dogs he is with and he allows them to remain their original character at the same time which i love to he seems to do things very well with dogs,
Hope all is well.

Mine was the best. Smart as hell. Doesn't take a lot of time. They can feel the love
**EXCELLENT JOB, MY FRIEND!!**
You are amazing that is such good advice and good training technique
