The fire pit in the front garden was a clue and it didn’t get better. This property is filled with individual design elements that try too hard to create a wow but just don’t work together. With the exception of the internal doors & a few pieces for me it’s a Versace themed design nightmare. But it’s a good footprint.
As soon as they said it’s been on the market since 2019…. The fire pit, the black terrace walls at the back, the Versace… it´s all too niche. That’s not going to appeal to many people. Also, at 8:36 check out the reflection in the glass door: it’s next to a busy road! The surrounding houses didn’t look to be in the same price bracket… so it would be a no from me!
To each their own, but this house is awful in my view. Overlooked by neighbours and with the garden on the front / side of the house stepped down like that, is just odd. It’d have been far better if it was a smaller house better positioned on the plot with tiles that aren’t so tasteless. Good to see ‘Nottingham’ property & good video as always from you guys: one question though, where you say ‘the underfloor heating can be controlled by your phone over Wi-Fi’, can you add a little more detail next time about what the tech is?
@@Rachel_TensionsHa ha. Not at all. As I said, to each their own. The world would be a boring place if we all liked the same things! I’m merely expressing my opinion which people can agree with, or not. If you like it, you can put an offer in eh?
This house is tasteless and massively overpriced. This house has struggled to sell for 3 years, they have even thrown in the extra plot of land the house was originally built on (+planning consent) and pushed the price to circa £2mil!!!! I’m sorry but if you’ve got £2m to spend on a house in Nottingham/Nottinghamshire, you could get a lot more for your money (land, etc)!! Who ever designed this house is trying to replicate Guy Phoenix (another overpriced for the area designer)
If like me you do not like Versace, then you find this property pretty tastless. If it was built 2019/2020 then its been empty 12-18 months and you can see why. The 2nd floor bedrooms have such steeply sloping walls you can barely stand up in them let alone place wardrobes etc. Overall not a good choice.
The house is very beautiful, of course it was decorated according to the owners' personal taste. However, in my opinion, the fireplace on the outside is very poorly located. A person who does not know easily can fall inside and seriously injure themselves. Inside there are very beautiful colors and textures of stone and ceramic, although some of them do not match each other, which makes a mixture in the respective rooms a little strange.
Not for me..nothing flows apart from the internal doors. The patchwork floor is very out of character ( I’m trying to be kind) The fire pit is a potential hazard, one rain shower & it will pool but more scarily someone will fall in it. All that money 😫
While you're in Nottingham, would love to see you guys tour some properties in The Park. Any of the TC Hine or Watson Fothergill properties would have bags of character. There's one on Duke William Mount which I walk the dog past everyday which looks close to having a renovation finished. Just comparing to the adjacent semi detached, from the outside they've done a great job at restoring it, so no doubt the interior too once finished would be pretty spectacular. There's also a property on Park Terrace undergoing a Guy Phoenix renovation which I'd imagine would be pretty impressive too.
I love the house but hate the Versace wallpaper in the master bedroom. Outside space is fine but a little bit small on the lawn area. Great video thanks 😊👍
Love the decor. This is absolutely my taste the kitchen is amazing with the quirky copper surface and the light extractor.Just wish I had the millions for it.
not a fan, very tacky elements. Think about how much was spent and what they could have achieved for much less! Looks like the builder's vision with no interior designer
I had a candelabra once that had resin chunks for holding the candles. They looked like glass when new but after ten years or so they started to turn a horrible yellow. I wonder if the same will happen to that bathroom countertop?
I know this will upset some people, but who in their right mind would ever spend £1.8m to live in Nottingham, an area famous for gun crime? 🤷♂️ Even if you were gagging to do that, a 7bed house screams large family - so where’s the balanced £1.8m super garden? I’m seeing a stubby courtyard. You’ve both done enough of these tours now to know that gaff is ‘all coat and no knickers’. Genuinely, that’s a £600k house on it’s best day - yes a kick in the nuts for its owner, but they clearly need to get real.
Very interesting property, certainly not my taste, but nice size rooms and spec, only disappointment was garden size if you have a young family. but nice to see unique properties like this. Thanks for the tour.
Too much mix n mash, too much Versace, bed pushed into the window as no wide wall space, too many small cavity walkways, very odd taste, the rust work surface "Cringe" but great to see you guys back, look forward to the next one
Great to have you back 😃, I’ve been having property withdrawals from you guys, and you share this with us, absolutely fantastic, those tiles are goals 🤩, big 👍
That wallpaper is truly disgusting, yet some of the other materials are very impressive. It's almost like someone hired a talented interior designer, then overruled them.
want take this 2.....I like so much,....as of not completed of furniture more than can talk about of the property,.....this house wer so gonna mean to me & I love it! at my first glance I had watched and could liked but this get my heartbumps
Hi guys loving the videos, almost an ASMR style about them great to watch. Anyways in Nottingham have you noticed 228 Melton Road? And 1A Croft Road. They're impressive houses, be great if you could tour them one day. Great vids, loving them 👍
I'm not a huge fan of the new filming style, specifically the camera walking backwards into the room while the presenter enters. I preferred just following the presenter, felt more natural and gave a better sense of the house.
Finally on screen specs, showing the square feet, rooms and bathrooms is a very good touch rather than just saying it. However, I hope you could improve in your music choice. Next in terms of the property I'm not sure where is the owner going with the design concept, there is no theme, colour matching is off. For such a big property the kitchen is so small. Anyway keep up the good work guys! 💪
I don’t like the bench tops in the kitchen. I am finding all the modern kitchens very plain looking with their panels of smooth doors and integral refrigerators and freezers. There is no character anymore in kitchens.
It’s okay, nothing really stands out to me. The garden from the main room looks small and I don’t like the fire place in the front of the garden. Like the floating staircase and landing. The wallpaper is terrible out of date.
There is a reason no one has lived there since the property was built in 2019. It's one bad design flaw after the other. A firepit/hot tub next to your driveway with no privacy or connection to the house, different flooring, like the developer bought job lots each time and just slapped it all together. Too many bedrooms and not enough bathrooms. There is no cohesion, it doesn't flow. The house doesn't fir the neighborhood, judging by the neighbouring houses. The only way they could possibly get this place sold is if it was professionally staged, to try and bring this mish-mash together. I do however love your videos and think you guys tried your best.
This is a lovely property- very spacious rooms. That Versace wallpaper in the principle bedroom is a no no though. But I dig the lava rock tiles. Nice video as always 💕
An extractor lamp that isn't connected, that's an interesting concept. Curious to use a brick that looks 100 years old, then you miss the new build look, maybe it works with local sensibilities. The exterior yellow accent color doesn't match. Maybe demonstrate the bifold doors. And regarding those and windows on the lower floor, they seem low. I've noticed that in another british house. Matt you have to hunch with most of the doors but it looks like even Summer would be close to filling the bifold frame when standing on the ledge. Imagine doing that in an LA luxury home, you'd be crucified :) That's maybe a british modesty that could do with revision if one dares call it the pinnacle. Maybe call it hobbitzes :) Interestingly the front door is tall as are the master bedroom windows so there is just some critical catch up to do. Many good things in the interior though, some criticize that, personally it's the exterior that lets it down for me.
Not much outside space for the money, as for the firepit thing, id fill it in... house doesnt flow... decor is VILE & looks dated, about a £1.2 million over priced !!
A fire pit/spar at the front of the property , not very romantic if your getting cosy with your loved one and the postman/woman/delivery person has to drop off some post or goods but very modern property
Ah no...please dont build this kind of tack further south.....developer um ah...thats generous....20 years of Grand Designs hasnt rubbed off on some....

Bingo! lack of good taste
Yes decorated in very poor taste. It seems over priced and on a loud road.
Also, the windows seem strangely small for such a house.
Its horrendous inside and out.....zero taste....most of it will go into landfill after a few years....its going to date so bad......
@@crazyjay7676 the road seems fine
A house of that size and quality without a walk-in wardrobe in the Master bedroom is criminal.
Exactly what I think very bad
Especially if you're asking for £1.8m

The house opposite on the main road just sold for £2.95 million and the next door to that is up for £3 million. You guessed wrong.
The outside looks great, the house looks amazing! But the interior is a huge letdown. They didn't need the Versace. It looks terrible in my opinion
To each their own, but this house is awful in my view. Overlooked by neighbours and with the garden on the front / side of the house stepped down like that, is just odd. It’d have been far better if it was a smaller house better positioned on the plot with tiles that aren’t so tasteless.

Nice house. However for the money & location I'd be wanting a fair bit more. Stay safe.
nice sized house, not a fan of design choices. Some how looks cheap.

Built in 2019 and already looks dated! What a bizarre mish-mash of design choices.
Distastefully done, would like a view from the 1st floors in these house tours pls.
A great example of “loads of money with no taste”, sorry! 😖

Every time they showed the doors leading outside, I kept expecting to see a pool. All that concrete so close to the house I expect.
