I used to vape. Not very proud of it. After 7 years, i stopped a few months ago. I spent $250+ a month on vapes, and i developed a chronic cough and lung pain. Today is my 23 birthday. I shouldnt be having breathing problems. Dont vape. Its so not worth it.

When you quit that use nicotine gums. Dont underestimate how addicting nicotine is. Chew the gums only at predefined times and in 2-4 week intervals decrease the amount of gums by like 3/4

There's sites called healthvape/luvv/vitabar that have zero nic/tobacco, e acetate, DIACETYL, etc, vapes. These have none of that dangerous stuff, like there's these morning ones with caffeine or sleep ones with meletonin and they work pretty good, but I've never used nic, only medical weed vapes so idk how well these would work with you, but i liked them and they seem to have good reviews for those looking to quite vaping. man, this just made me remember a friend of mine in my first year. i was in my first semester of college and there were a bunch of people vaping outside of our university. me and my homies agreed that vaping is very unhealthy and just minded our own business as always. it wasnt until the second semester that i noticed my friend started growing curious about the idea of vaping and even tried it cuz it was cola flavored. we teased him but also warned him that he was not gonna be able to let it go once he tried it and he said that it was the last time he was ever gonna smoke it. but then, you guessed it, he wasnt able to let it go and surprisingly for us, he strayed away from us and stopped being a part of our group. we still see him in class and when we were walking out of the university to buy food but hes now with his new group who also vapes and apparently joined some sort of motorcycle gang that was also most of the troublemakers in our class. now that im in the second year, i have no idea where he is now cuz im not in the same class as him anymore but i really hope that he rethinks what he's doing with himself.
I learned that most cigarette smokers get real mad if you try to talk to them to quit or hide their pack lol I used to hide my mom’s cigarette pack every time 😂 cuz I was really against that stuff. I’m still against cigarettes. But I do smoke the greens lol

You can’t standing the smell of cigarettes makes me speak why I despise smoking: Both of my parents do it, but my dad is doing a lot worse. My mom has been smoking since I was like 5, and she hasn’t stopped. I’m 17 now. People question why I never leave my room, and that’s the exact reason. My dad smokes expensive Cuban cigars that he receives in a pack monthly, and within the span of a year and a half of him doing that to today, he has lost 3 teeth. Why can’t I tell them to stop? First of all they’re hooked, and second of all I really can’t convince them. I’ve tried around 4 times, and they won’t give up. Should I have tried to convince them more? Maybe, but I just gave up after the fourth time. I wish they could just chew nicotine gum or something, as that’s a tactic I’ve seen ex-smokers do that has helped them quit smoking, and it doesn’t harm them.
If you don't smoke anything, don't start. That said, my vape is made of mostly vegetable glycerin and propylene glycol, with food grade flavorings. I used it to quit smoking cigarettes, and now to stay off them. I do not use pods at all, I build my coils, I keep it clean, I know exactly what's in my mod. This is not the behavior of your average vaper though.
I'm 33 and I smoked for about 15-16 years before I fully switched over to a vape and honestly have no intention of putting it down. I won't sit here and lie saying its safe or anything like that but as an alternative to the literal thousands of chemicals I'll go with the lesser of the two evils. Long story short I'm fully aware of what I'm doing to myself and wouldn't tell someone oh yeah its a good idea. That being said if you are already stuck in the cycle of addiction from the nicotine and have no intentions on quitting it's a "better" alternative.

10 years ago, almost exactly, vaping was this new thing that offered a cleaner alternative to smoking. I had smoked for about 5 years up until that point. I tried vaping for a year, quit, and picked up smoking again. A few years passed, and I switched to vaping again. After a few weeks, I noticed something amazing. I felt like I was able to breathe again. Not smoking, but doing something 30% as bad, really was an improvement. I could run without running out of breath again. Then vaping hit the mainstream. It became alot less about being a better alternative and more about looking cool I guess? I don't know. The moral of the story is, every few months I'll pick up a few packs and smoke for a few weeks just to remind myself of how bad smoking is and what it actually does to you. Quitting alltogether with a high tension, high stress job with high consequences is easier said than done, so there's vaping. But really, if you really want to be cool and not annoy random people on the internet, just get a can of copenhagen and dipski in the lipski. Make sure you spit where other people walk and leave open containers of schmoo sitting on tables. That's where the real cool factor is, vapers!
I remember this one bus stop that I had to go to in highschool, and the ground behind was white, and it's not rocks or anything, it was cigarettes buds! The dirt below was brown, everytime I remember that I get disgusted
I vape and I still agree with this. It just becomes habit over time, and you don't even feel anything off it much anymore. Nicotine constricts your blood vessels, causing you to take less oxygen in the brain and make your heart beat faster to make up for that, thus pushing more pressure on those constricted blood vessels and potentially causing an aneurysm. I'm not a doctor, so don't quote me on that. I just read a lot of wikipedia.
Back when I still lived with my father he used to smoke a ton, I get winded super easily and apparently my mother also has lung issues. Also the sleep deprivation is hilarious

I don't know if it was the withdrawal or him overdosing one last time before quitting but he went to the hospital for extremely high blood pressure and heart problems! Cigarette smoke smells really horrid to me and it makes me get killer headaches and really bad congestion. Unfortunately, im stuck living in a tiny hotel room, with windows that barely open, with a heavy chain smoker who knows how sick the smoke makes me but does it anyways. I don't remember what it's like to not feel like death, all day everyday. I can't even leave because I dont make enough money to afford actually housing and all the other hotels are expensive as hell.
I'm smoking since 16 yo i'm now 19 and I was quitting a few Times, once for a month succesfully but I returned and although I'm smoking only like 2 ciggaretes a day and sometimes I take a nicotine pouch but I would love to quit. Unfortunately I feel like my dopamine receptors are fried and without nicotine I get bored.
I started by just taking a hit once every other week, no harm. Got into a relationship that lasted 2 months and he vaped so I started vaping before even realizing, I got addicted then got admitted into an ED clinic for 3 months and picked vaping up after getting out. Here i am now planning to quit

I tried them a few times when I was younger and coughed uncontrollably and it turned out my lungs were to weak to take it and I ended up with pneumonia and it was so terrible I quit cold turkey and had no interest anymore. Same with a real cigarette except it only took one puff of that disgusting thing and I was done forever.

There are people in my job that smoke vapes
I tried them a few times when I was younger and coughed uncontrollably and it turned out my lungs were to weak to take it and I ended up with pneumonia and it was so terrible I quit cold turkey and had no interest anymore. Same with a real cigarette except it only took one puff of that disgusting thing and I was done forever.
There used to be scented cigarettes but because the smells where attracting kids to smoking scented cigs where banned off the face of the earth

Ima be so fr, I’ve been through a lot of second hand smoking and I’ve enjoyed the smell of cigarettes. Which is exactly why I’d never no matter what smoke a cig. I’m scared of getting addicted, and if I already like the smell, what says I won’t like doing it. So I ain’t risking my life nor my future just for some dumb ass dopamine.

Thankfully I stopped vaping a few weeks back . Now using Snoose to combat it . I used to smoke and Thankfully I was able to stop due to vaping. Please if you see this please don't start at all.
