Still using the machine? Root cause found? Gave up?

That's worrying. Is this a new machine or an existing one? Performed any firmware or software updates that may have caused it? Have you reached out to Neoden?

Yes, it is concerning. This machine is new and we were told that the software is the latest and up-to-date. We found a feeder that was not responding so it was unplugged. Removing it seems to by pass the error but we not sure what is wrong with the feeder or software.

@@sprucescience Very odd fix. Picked up one new recently, it works but it's a bit disappointing for the price for a 6 year old machine, a bit slow, one camera, x/y misalignment (a few mm out over 200mm). I wouldn't buy a Neoden if I could avoid it. You can buy a higher precision machine (but weighs 200-300kg) for the same price. Some people have modded their Neoden to use OpenPNP but it's quite the time investment

Although its been a year now .. but i still wuld suggest to chk ur pick n place file.
The Software developer are not good to chk long names and buffer over flows ..
So long names of components in pnp file cause such probs on some pnp machines.
U can manage ur cad software to produce shorter names or just do tht manually in xls sheet before loading to pnp machine.
