- The future of Mazda 3 mods is looking almost concerning to the Mazda 3 community. Parts suppliers are looking away from the platform, and the general interest in aftermarket parts has changed. Does this mean the future of Mazda 3 mods is going to be for the worst? This is what to expect for the future of Mazda 3 mods.

Part of the reason why I chose the mazda when I bought it, didn't want a generic civic.
He speaks 🗣️👏🏻
Looking good buddy. Always enjoy your content 😊
Thanks Jerey!
It's very unfortunate, but it does make for a more unique and impressive build if you do manage to pull something nice off haha
It's always been one of those "creative" platforms
@ColtonRichter what did you mean by don’t even bother at 9:45. The custom gauges I just got a aftermarket speedometer gauge cluster with the black Back around on a 2007 Mazda 3 sedan
Almost bought a Subie but your channel inspired me to grab a manual Mazda 3, love the thing to bits!! You've taught me more about my car than the instruction guide could ever teach me, can't wait to see what else you have in store 👀🔥
Dang I would've bought a Subaru hahaha!
Sickest Mazda 3 on the road. No one is doing this content! Mad love
Thanks Rob 🤙🏻
Do you have any plans to sell the old backlights that you have changed۔ If yes I would like to have them.
Love from Pakistan buddy nice content.🥰
hey colton! lots of parts still available for regular maintenance and such , engines sre pretty available aswel. junkyarda and such pretty much always have about 8+ units available in alberta at the least since there are now becoming aged vehicles. the fact that some are still on the road means that they are desgined well enough that they rust before they die.ive owned my mazda 3 hatch for about 3 years now and its an 08. very minimal rust but corksport still makes good wuality upgrade parts for the na 3 models. autoshack makes good oem spec parts. so far you wont struggle to find maintenance parts , just aftermarket " upgrades"
too many typos but you get the idea!
Yep OEM availability is still fantastic!
He needs more views man his videos are awesome
This really only applies to the sedans if you have a gen1 or gen 2 hatchback most things that fit a speed3 gen1 or gen 2 will fit your car in terms of external mods and maybe some engine and interior trim mods also there is always body mods like wide body kits or massive GT rally style wings/ and or spoilers that you can get from places.
For those looking for a front lip alternative, if you have first generation hatchback (should be similar for sedan), the OEM front lip extensions from a Toyota Corolla S 2003/2004 fit the fog lights very closely and end up being perfect fit with a bit of heat. I have a 2005 Mazda 3s hatch and found them quite easily at a pick and pull, should as well be similar fitment on the rectangle fog light facelift.
Nice find!
Have u seen the fswerks headers? I’m pretty sure they fit the 3 because both use the 2.0/2.3 duratec
I have not
skyactiv ECU was cracked last year too, remaps are now a thing!
😳😳😳
@@ColtonRichter yessir, i bought my 2013 base trim at the perfect time, because a remap is cheaper than coilovers! and probably a wee bit faster in a straight line as well!
still got mine and still saving on OE parts i was able to find but will obsolete. Still trying to find good condition LED tail lights.
I got mine in a wrecker yard
Are front bumpers suports interchangable between Mazda 3 SPORT and normal Mazda 3 (both 2003/2006, sedan) ?
Yes, sedan fits sedan, hatch fits hatch
@@ColtonRichter thanks a lot, i've been searching for weeks if the supports are the same. I know the bumper fits but the supports had me in tears with all them different codes.
I have questions what is a SP23? Like what does it stand for
It's basically the Hatch 2.3L
Where can I buy parts for a Mazda 3 model 2005 I need a bumper?
Wrecker yard for oem
This is just the sad part of moding a Mazda, I wanted the spyder tail lights so BAAD. But the wait time rn is 2months! (on where I am) :(
Too true brother someone in my neighborhood has em, saw him rolling around, n got a bit jelly 😅
eBay seems to be the last of the pot for the Spyder lights
@@ColtonRichter The shipping fee is almost twice the price of the tail lights. lol
@@xIncloseAwaysgo get them dude! its always good to have an extra pair 👀✨
I just got a 2006 Mazda 3 what mods should I get on it? Because I really don’t know
an eonon radio, a sub in the back, lowering springs, and then save up for some awesome wheels. That's a good start.
I will say this from personal experience as a 07 owner, Don't get the ebay cold air intake. Just keep your intake factory.
@@Delta_P_ thanks this actually helps

@@gaganors-_-8406 Actually ONE BIG THING YOU DO FIRST: Rear Motor Mount. Make it solid, I have the Corksport one. It completely changes the car. In my Girlfriend's words: It's like the car grew some balls.
Just the reality of it. Anything earlier than the 2010s is going to get rarer. Only the super desirable cars (350Z, Civic 2-doors, Mustangs, anything RWD) are going to get support. This is just how it is with an old car...
That's why the community gotta keep an eye out, and importantly, buy what you want. If there is demand, they'll see it.
still though... Eonon Radios, coilovers or lowering springs, custom headlights, short throw shifters, shift knobs... you don't need much more, do you really?
Very true! All basics of a build we will have for a long time!
Parts are becoming scarce these days even in our country. Time to stacked up. LoL
I could imagine 😂
damn, thats annoying and unfotunate. I was really hoping for some more oem+ style stuff to hang around 😢what do you recomend as a lip kit and exhaust for a bks1 hatch?
I wish MazdaSpeed accessories weren't so rare, they made some really cool stuff from factory
I made my own parts
Cool!
